PLEASE MAKE THIS LUCY HAVE A GREATEST OF ALBUM...I LOSE MY WORD..THIS LUCKY GIRL.. I FROM MALAYSIA.. I GIVE THIS LUCY 10 GOLDEN STAR...AMAZING LUCKY GIRL
I'm a concert violinist. I cried when I saw Lucy's hands over her teacher's. I have twin boys aged 12, one is autistic. Eric is incredibly poetic in his math, engineering, humour, chess and musical imagination. I can relate to Lucy and her mother.
I love Lucy. Apart from her piano playing, she is so cute! I believe recognition needs to be given to her teacher, Daniel Bath, who has taught so many other beautiful and gifted "special needs" children and young adults. Bravo Daniel Bath!
When Lang Lang say its incredible and dont know what to say u know it must be really good. Technical aspects in hand and posture doesnt matter u close eyes and listen by heart. Its another level in music to create some story in few notes. One word AMAZING and unique.
I have listened to some other versions of this but this just feels like something else, the sensitiveness and softness she plays with, among the best I have heard.
Lucy plays so beautifully beyond words. What a gift! Her delivery of her musical talent is so awesome! Blessings and thank you so much Lucy! Keep playing!❤
I must have watched this over a 100 times by now, and it is amazing how nuanced her playing is, with ebbs and flows in her rhythm, gets me crying every time. So beautiful
She play the piano with the reflection of her mind this makes her so special and unique music is the key of life and communication ! Beautiful Lucy God bless you little lady !
I discovered Lucy only two days ago, and no matter how often I've seen this and a few other performances by her, she keeps on striking me in my heart. I suffer from Asperger myself, so I know like no one else how this disability can sometimes unlock talents that may not be possible without it, but Lucy brings all this to a whole new level. But also all credit to Daniel for having the patience and understanding to help Lucy to get even better and get the most out of herself. Because men with that kind of talent, well I found out the hard way that we got too little of those people in this world.
(CAUTION:A very long and boring comment partially brought on by sadness for this young ladies' condition and the gladness/sadness of hearing her play and some concerns I cannot articulate correctly. I would just skip the rest but am not deleting it, yet. I worked hard on it. Some neurological issues in place led to it taking over an hour to type and correct mistakes. Well, biggest mistake was starting)Perhaps we cry because it IS beautiful..... I'm 70yr old redneck dude and tho there have been some terribly rough spots along the way music has helped get thru some of the recovery grey areas. I worry sometimes that these special needs children, and adults later, are paraded in front of us mere mortals for not necessarily the best reasons. Especially the blind children with other neurological problems. Do, or can, they understand what is going on. Did they learn their particular musical specialty or is it part of the "savant" neurological gifts? I'm not saying this correctly. So I will stop trying. I just hope the music they play, whether learned or just "is" brings them pleasure and escape from a world of darkness we cannot imagine or comprehend. Out of all the traumas, near death experiences, even two total death encounters, 5 cancers and so on, the most terrifying was coming up out of general anaesthesia after "routine" eye surgery not blackness, but complete and total white light blindness. In over 40yrs of law enforcement and as military contractor and medic in several countries one of my biggest fears was losing my sight. A thousand ways for it to happen yet to survive all the fighting, accidents and sickness for a doctor deliberately ignore a pre-existing condition, an eye stroke that he knew had occurred, and do surgery anyway..... Sorry. PTSD, tho not crippling, causes me to write too much or talk to people I do not know while ignoring those closest to me. I told this to just share how losing sight in only one eye was overwhelming tho balanced somewhat by the thankfulness of still having sight in the other eye. Plus I have regained a lot of vision in my eye. I worry because while I got some sight back I do not feel, i don't know, worthy? While these young folks born this way most of them, have no chance to have what most of us take for granted. I should delete this, my latest episode of writing on air, but since I doubt sincerely it will not be read i will just leave it. As to tears i find they come easier and easier. A photo, a movie, a random piece of music, me, the supposed tough warrior guy has to try to hide my old man tears. I hope to get enough strength and vision back, not for more missions fighting, but to volunteer to protect some more medical missionaries in the same countries I have fought the "evil doers". Sadly the exact same evil doers I used to travel thousands of miles to try to stop are now right here amongst us. Well, I meant to stop anyway..... Finally, as to this piece I think it would have led to tears even if I didn't see who was playing tho it no doubt made it more special. The interview female looks absolutely ridiculous by the way. rick in Tennessee.
People with sight can't even play with this perfection. I'm not particularly a fan of clasical piano but I could listen to her all day long. Please communicate this comment to her personally.
I watch this so many times....and I dont know why but I need to...Ive never been interested in Classical music..but since watching Lucy I have found a joy in it..a joy which I only get when I see performances like Lucy's and others with diverse abilities..how they play the piano and touch the feels is unexplainable to me.... actually LangLang describes it..
I can relate all this too. As a teacher myself we try to give each kid an opportunity to learn no matter what kind of background they have. I have a couple with ADHD and one with Down Syndrome and not long ago another with Global Development Delay. Have been following Lucy's meteoric rise ever since the first season was aired. And it is nothing short of remarkable. And the new series just got better.
The first video I saw of Lucy was a shorter version of just Lucy playing and I cried. This is the first time I've heard her history from her mum and the instructor is brilliant, I'm thankful he was able to understand her and how she communicates!
Great Job Lucy!!! How special it is to seee when someone (teacher) lends a hand.. Beautiful harmony can be created in voice and melody.. that would not be possible without people seeing something special and Supporting her abilities.. gives good vibes and positive frequent’see that all things are possible when we give our/hour gift of sight/site that is keys to harmon’eyes’sing.
what can i really say. for all that we take as given( talent, life etc, ) this lady has in her own mind has made the choice to use what she has been to excel in life where most of us would quit❤️❤️❤️
Я плачу со своей душой О том, что слышу эти ноты Я не могу найти покой Ничто её так не заботит. Она не видит белый свет И как он выглядит не знала Незрячий ангел как рассвет Все наши души пробуждала. Lucy is a beautiful child, gifted to play piano so beautifully is a stunning gift to anyone and everyone chancing to listen. I'm a hack when it comes to making music, I am totally a listener for anyone of her caliber. Such beautiful skill making music deserves to be heard and appreciated. Thank you to everyone making the event possible, especially her teacher Danial. BRAVO!
Sometimes.. humans step out of character and do awesome things; I speak not of Lucy's incredible talent, but of those who recognize Lucy's true spirit.
She is a very accomplished player. It is heartening to know that she has this means of expression in her life. I have a question. Does anybody know why blind people sway their heads in such a manner when playing the piano? Stevie Wonder does it too. And so do other blind people.
The look on Lang Lang’s face reminds me of what Eric Clapton looked like after having seen Jimi Hendrix and where he found out that he wasn’t the greatest anymore. Her playing moves me like no one else, gets me every time
I never understood how people could look at someone like Lucy and say "she has a disability", she is obviously so much more advanced than we are so much so that we can't even begin to understand Lucy bc she is so far above us. She brings a level of art and beauty to a an ugly hate filled world and we think she is "disabled", on the contrary we are the disabled ones but we are blessed bc she is here bringing us music and she is totally disconnected from the hateful and ugly world around her.
Why can’t they give this girl respect and not call her “blind Lucy?” She has a first and last name and I did not see them ever say her name nor wrote it in the description not even once she deserves actual credit and recognition.
We all face challenges in our life's. But I would dare to say almost all of ours's pail in comparison to what this girl deals with on a daily basis. Evil takes and destroys. It revels in our defeat and our suffering. But sometimes for reasons I don't try and understand, God reminds us there is beauty in everything. And surely the hand of God has touched this beautiful girl. A gift for her...and us.
Being blind can actually be an advantage with music, Ray Charles is a prime example of that. Now being def would be make it quite difficult but you can still compose in that condition as Beethoven proved.
“This is impossible…” said a stunned Lang Lang…..
PLEASE MAKE THIS LUCY HAVE A GREATEST OF ALBUM...I LOSE MY WORD..THIS LUCKY GIRL..
I FROM MALAYSIA..
I GIVE THIS LUCY 10 GOLDEN STAR...AMAZING LUCKY GIRL
I think she has a fantastic teacher. It's great how he knows how to give piano lessons to a blind girl.
I think that even Chopin would have had tears in his eyes to have heard his creation played so beautifully. What a gifted young lady.
It's good that Lucy got the gig based on her talent and not on her disability. She's a very talented pianist.
When Lang Lang say its incredible and dont know what to say u know it must be really good. Technical aspects in hand and posture doesnt matter u close eyes and listen by heart. Its another level in music to create some story in few notes. One word AMAZING and unique.
To amaze Lang Lang is an axcomplishment that VERY few people can accomplish. And she's just a kid. She's going to become an ICON.
I cant stop crying every time i here her play. She’s amazing
me too
Hear* and me too 😢
Same here, like turning on a switch
and people stop.
and their hearts were touched.
❤
I just love Lucy. She is God sent! 💕
I have listened to some other versions of this but this just feels like something else, the sensitiveness and softness she plays with, among the best I have heard.

Mum: Yup that is my little Star❤
IT"S NOT IMPOSSIBLE, IT'S JUST SIMPLY INCREDIBLE☸
Is so beautiful, such depth and feeling! She is one with the piano! I could just cry, the Beatty! God bless her!!
If you close ur eyes u can understand why she moves her head -amazing the piano sings
head movements is her way of keeping a tempo.
I'm not crying.... my eyes are just sweating....
I got something in my eye
Lucy plays so beautifully beyond words. What a gift! Her delivery of her musical talent is so awesome! Blessings and thank you so much Lucy! Keep playing!❤
Chopin would be honored by such perfection in her work🙂❤️
I must have watched this over a 100 times by now, and it is amazing how nuanced her playing is, with ebbs and flows in her rhythm, gets me crying every time. So beautiful
I’m coming close to 100 times myself. I am amazed each time. Love their reactions!
Magnificent! Stunning! Superlative! I'm a 75 year old jaded curmudgeon and Lucy brought me to tears!
She is trapped in this body of blindness, yet when she plays, her spirit flies, sours above all inabilities. amazing!
She play the piano with the reflection of her mind this makes her so special and unique music is the key of life and communication !
Beautiful Lucy God bless you little lady !
God uses people in many different ways. With Lucy she brings life, message and love every time plays to so many people. God bless Lucy and Daniel.
Lucy has the rare abilty to actually connect to the composer of the piece she plays. This is the gift from HIM.❤❤❤
People with disabilities who touch people like Lucy does is a truly rare gift.😁
Daniel and Lucy are quite the pair. What a remarkable story that can recharge your soul.
I discovered Lucy only two days ago, and no matter how often I've seen this and a few other performances by her, she keeps on striking me in my heart.

This is so beautiful. Why am I Crying?

Lucy made such beautiful sounds from those tiny fingers. Not only was it an emotional moment, the song choice was so moving too. I cried...

Beautiful. Should teach us to celebrate what we have instead of cursing what we don't have. I love your work, Lucy.

What I heard from the others, all of them are amazing. Keep it up.
My heart burning to hear this. Truly masterpiece
I remember someone said something like, "It's not about 'how could they do it', but 'how couldn't we do it'."
Only 3K likes?...It should be 1M by now!...THIS NEVER GETS OLD❤❤❤

With God anything is Possible.....👏👏👏👏👏
Daniel and Lucy, heroes.

Thank you Daniel Bath for helping Lucy with the obvious musical gift she has. You are both amazing.
There are Angels among us. Well, at least one.
Daniel, you are a very, very special and gifted teacher 9:40
I like this girl very much.

Flawless. Absolutely flawless.
Every brain, every heart has its own vast brillance. Unfortuately mankind isn't ready yet to allow this magic to blossom out ....
MI ALMA ESCUCHO A UN AUTENTICO....REAL ANGEL
so amazing.
OMG that's incredible gifted god bless her.
The look on Lang Lang’s face reminds me of what Eric Clapton looked like after having seen Jimi Hendrix and where he found out that he wasn’t the greatest anymore. Her playing moves me like no one else, gets me every time
Lucy is an angel.
I came for Lucy, when I realized this was a whole show I immediately paused at 8:43. I'm off to find the full episode!!
Spanish subtitles, please! I love the video
God Bless your Beautiful Heart Lucy .❤️❤️❤️
".....she "fought" it was pre-recorded??? what is this strange manner of speaking???
Lucy is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Such blessings.
Просто невероятно! Это восхитительно! Молодчина! Так держать!❤❤❤

Exactly. It is people like Lucy that makes me feel so inadequate, so unworthy, and so useless. Seeing Lucy is a truly humbling experience.
Why can’t they give this girl respect and not call her “blind Lucy?” She has a first and last name and I did not see them ever say her name nor wrote it in the description not even once she deserves actual credit and recognition.
I understand what you are saying, but if they were to do so, it would be for our benefit and not hers.
Lucy is amazing and so talented
