Good day, Corinne. Very timely review for me. I am waiting for my order I placed a couple days ago because I could not remember where I put my adhesive. I am making St Patrick's day shirts for my husband and myself. Thank you for this timely reminder of the steps.
Holds up great! I do recommend washing in cold water with a mild detergent inside out and line dry for the longest wear but I recommend that for any htv. I have shirts I’ve washed TONS! and they still look awesome
Hello Corrine, what would be the reason why my t-shirt looks like blochy foil. I ripped the foil of like a bandaid and it wasn't solid looking like yours. I let it cool for about 2 minutes before i ripped it off. Not sure if that what the issue.
4:30 Attach, Unite, Weld, Combine, Flatten. So confusing. Since there is a detach option, why would I use the other options to keep SVG elements on one cutting pad?
@@LanceMcGrew as noted in the video you can use lots of the elements in the same way. I explain that many times in my videos and you do what you are comfortable with.
Corrine, I have alot of Deco Foil and Minc foil, can I use that I also have toner and hot foil. I dont want to have to buy more foil as I have alot already.
@@lyndahollins2881 I have never tested either one especially with washing so I can’t say how durable it would be. I would test it on an old shirt and see what happens
@@CorinneBlackstone I have the adhesive I picked up today. I have a tote box full of foil lol. I was hoping to use them. I am not sure if starcraft ships to Australia or not, or if there is a retailer here.
@@lyndahollins2881 I don’t think it does sadly. I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. I’m just not 100% certain since I’ve never done it. When you try it let me know how it works!
4:47 I just wanna point out.. if it’s a 12x 12 sheet, then isn’t it the same if you turn the picture? Lol.. I counted the strips and you still waste 3 strips 1 strip no matter what way you turn the picture Anyway, this is such a beautiful project you did! I love this. I wanna try it now. The ending was so satisfying lol with the ripping off the foil part. I was so happy whenever I saw how smooth and shiny it looked 🤩🤩🤩👏🏼 love how you explained it all too!
If you were using a 12x12 sheet yes however if you are using a roll or a piece of htv that is longer than 12x12 turning it makes the most sense to allow you to save the most htv.
When I pull my foil off it’s not adhering to all of my design like yours does but i pressed for the same amount of time, it looks distressed. Could it be because i use a cricut easypress?
Just like any other htv really. I’ve worn this shirt a bunch and it still looks the same. I will recommend if you wash with other items especially if they have zippers wash inside out just to prevent anything from scratching it
RUclips has been doing this to me on some videos too. Close out of RUclips completely and then restart the video. I think they have just been having some issues
So super cute. I ordered some foil and adhesive right away.❤
6:40 what a cool way to load the matte.
@@LanceMcGrew thank you! It’s my favorite! Saves me so much hassle

Very nice!! Thank you for the tutorial!
Love your tutorial thanks ❤
So shiny ✨
I can't wait to try this! Thank you Corinne!
It’s so fun!
Thank you. Very cool and learned some new things. Question how does it hold up in the wash?

Hi, Corinne, can it be washed-out? Is it htv?
It won’t wash out. It’s HTV it stays on the shirt just fine through washing if applied correctly
Hello Corrine, I just love your videos. I was wondering can I use cricut foil transfer sheets
No cricut foil is not for textiles
What would I use if I wanted to put a design on my kids hoodie? Please and thank you
Everything I used here can be used on just about every type of fabric including a hoodie

It’s likely a pressure issue. If the foil is not pressed with heavy even pressure you foil will not adhere correctly to your adhesive
@@CorinneBlackstone Sounds good, I will try that. Thank you!

Sure!

Yep the easy press doesn’t give an even temp or pressure
@@CorinneBlackstone Thanks!!
How many washes does the garment last?
I have shirts I’ve washed well over 50 times and it still looks great
Is there a difference between the StarCraft and Siser Adhesive?
Yes Starcraft is white which means if foil doesn’t adhere to a spot it will show white
Is there a specific foil to use?
Yes it’s linked in the video description www.143vinyl.com/heat-transfer-foils/?partner=196113
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you 😊

Hello Corinne
Hi!
Is it just me or is there about 10 mins of black nothing on your video?
RUclips has been doing this to me on some videos too. Close out of RUclips completely and then restart the video. I think they have just been having some issues
Hello can you put foil on mesh fabrics?
No. Any fabric with a texture like that will have nothing for the adhesive to stick to so there will be nothing for the foil to stick to
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you 🌹🌹
