I was one of the first creature designers who worked on this film (worked on the flying fish/crocodile creatures, the whale creatures, and more with a bunch of other insanely talented people), and I just wanted to say thank you to all of you, the fans. Some of us who worked on the movies do take the time to read through the comments on the trailers, and seeing the overwhelmingly positive response from you all so far has made the YEARS of work that have gone into these films worth it for all of us. Truly, thank you. I'll see you in the theater in December! 💙

Seeing that they made a sequel just brings back so much nostalgia and honestly I'd love to have that same experience all over again with it.

I appreciate it when trailers refuse to give away the whole plot, but come on, they need to give us something so that we know what this is. This trailer didn't say enough.
It honestly shows very little plot which it also avoids in other trailers, maybe the plot us just what we see, basic and all the work on this film was just to makecl the film aesthetically pleasing and thats it!

The production in this is immense. Seems like the whole Avatar film franchise has evolved over the past ten years or so. The graphics are much more realistic and the waters just pull you right in.
I’m so happy that James Cameron was patient enough to wait till modern times to bring his literal dream to life. It just goes to show you what we are capable of with the right tools.

Another piece of communist tedium and Bolshevik propaganda. Why spend money to subsidize a communist Disney pretender and at the same time fall asleep to cgi absurdity? Read Tolstoy's War and Peace instead and stay away from this communist drivel. Cameron, why are you such a Marxist tool and shill?
I start to get emotional. this is beautiful and brings me back to my childhood when I saw the first avatar. still the most visually stunning series out of any of them💯
I have a CHALLENGE for the CGI team. How about some program is instituted where an "exchange student" from Pandora is brought to visit Earth. Imagine the special effects of Navi in an Earth environment where what is around them is "real world" so to speak.

If masterpiece = 3 hour long PS3 video game cut scene with terrible physics, unable to pass uncanny valley, a completely stupid and useless plot then yes, a masterpiece, like the shit I just flushed down the toilet.
Yeah! Round of applause for making a fiction movie not grounded in reality. In NO EFFING WAY, would there be a female General in the Marine corps leading a war like this. How idiotic can one person be. All these movies are nothing but indoctrination.
Not only is a female general ludicrous. But also acting as if earth is not sufficient enough to support a 7-10 billion population and that there is some other planet closely resembling earth. It’s asinine. You can take the entire population of earth…divide them into families of four(that’s an average size family)…give them an 1800sqft home with a .03 acre lot and comfortably fit them in an area the size of Texas. Mathematically proven!! We haven’t even scratched the surface of using up all of earths abundant resources. Libtards prevent us from accessing these resources. All in the name of “save the (and insert whatever animal) “. I hate what Hollywood has become. But that’s the churches fault. 100%.
First avatar movie came out when I was 15 and I remember just being absolutely taken by the hyper realistic CGI. It still stands up to the test of time as one of the most beautifully rendered 3D films. It was the talk of my high school for a while, and it’s endearing to think that a new generation of kids will be able to witness an Avatar film which will have even more advancements in filming / animating techniques than its predecessor. Don’t even get me started on the musical scores. Absolutely goosebump inducing!! I really can’t wait!
This movie is a watershed moment for me just like the first movie (especially in 3D) was. I truly can’t believe the sequel is finally here and man it looks even more epic than I could have imagined!
I was 9 when first avatar came out. still remember that day my dad took me to cinema and enjoy watching. I was like "dad, are these places really on the earth?". I was astonished literally, I thought It was real.

This movie's positive environmental theme is admirable, the beauty of Pandora is overwhelming and it's creatures utterly captivating. In my 40 plus years of cinema going, this is the best experience I've witnessed. Many thanks to James Cameroon and his amazing team for this ground breaking movie.
I’m honestly out of words, the CGI looks damn gorgeous and the soundtrack is heaven to my ears. Can’t wait to witness this masterpiece in the theatres.
I really like that we are getting a focus on the main character's children, and their struggles with fitting into another culture. Looking forward to seeing this!
Well I mean they were born into the culture so it is their culture. It's more along the lines that they know that the kid's dad was born human and that the humans attacked them and killed many of their tribe, so kids being cruel as usual, shunned Jake's kids. Doesn't help that they were born with 5 fingers like humans instead of 4.
If you never saw the first movie in theaters you have no idea how visually stunning this is truly going to be. A movie that must be seen in theaters to truly be appreciated.
S , someone saying look like video games , i think our eyes not carry this hyper realistic CGI because all these years we are addictive to Marvel and DC so so CGI,VFX ...in Mobile and laptop this masterpiece VFX we can't estimate only in big screen we got it how epic ...
For real. This is a movie that just like the first one you either see it in IMAX or dont see it at all. The first one in IMAX was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Intense is an understatement
Try not to sit in the back of the room. Its even more stunning if the 3D effect isnt ending at the edge of your viewing area. Thats the big problem of viewing 3D movies at home, even with beamer.
I watched it at theatre twice, a week apart. No words describe the experience. Just WAW. I was in high school when the first movie came out, it’s absolutely magical and beyond exceptional to be back to Pandora after over a decade. Can’t wait for Avatar 3&4 and beyond. Thank you James Cameron.

this story and where Mr. Cameron had gotten it from? SIX NATIONS WHERE HE GREW UP WERE HERE AND ABOUT TO RULE THIS WORLD. THE BOOKS OF COPAN GIVE US THE MEANS TO DO...JUST THAT...RULE. EUROPEAN YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED IN THIS WORLD. "The people of the Six Nations, also known by the French term, Iroquois [1] Confederacy, call themselves the Hau de no sau nee (ho dee noe sho nee) meaning People Building a Long House. Located in the northeastern region of North America, originally the Six Nations was five and included the Mohawks, Oneidas, Onondagas, Cayugas, and Senecas. The sixth nation, the Tuscaroras, migrated into the Iroquois country in the early eighteenth century. Together these peoples comprise the oldest living participatory democracy on earth. Their story, and governance truly based on the consent of the governed, contains a great deal of life-promoting intelligence for those of us not familiar with this area of American history. The original United States representative democracy, fashioned by such central authors as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, drew much inspiration from this confederacy of nations. In our present day, we can benefit immensely, in our quest to establish anew a government truly dedicated to all life's liberty and happiness much as has been practiced by the Six Nations for over 1500 hundred years.

From this trailer's music I'm not a fan. It sounds very simple and repetitive, and the percussions sound very computational, one dimensional and boring.

Well I mean they were born into the culture so it is their culture. It's more along the lines that they know that the kid's dad was born human and that the humans attacked them and killed many of their tribe, so kids being cruel as usual, shunned Jake's kids. James Cameron is an extraordinary screenwriter. His ability to enthral our emotions and captivate us with high-octane action is truly a rare gift amongst filmmakers. No matter how this film turns out, Cameron always pushes the standard, and finds new ground for the next generation of artists. He’s an inspiration! Thank you, sir.
Exactly. James Cameron is such an extraordinary person. Couldn't agree more.

Can’t wait for Avatar 3😁
Rewatching the original tonight. Brings tears to my eyes as a film maker seeing Cameron and his team bring this to life. He had the idea way before the cameras or tech could make it possible. And he waited so long and made it a reality 13 years ago. And then he knew the sequel wouldn't happen till again the tech caught up and he waited. And that has to be soooo hard as a filmmaker. We just want ppl to see our work. But he knew. He's always known. Cameron is one of my biggest inspirations and I hope to make a masterpiece like this some day. This movie looks so beautiful and to everyone who worked on this movie, thank you sooooooo much for being a part of Cameron's vision. The filmmaking community alone thanks you guys sooooooo much for showing us what believing in your vision means

@@phonepunk7888 nah just a big big film nerd and a writer director. Also a huge James Cameron fan, he's one of my biggest inspirations
The background score.. so mesmerizing. Just pierces you through.. hypnotises you and pulls you in their world.
Really? Do I need to watch first one to understand this or its fine if I just watch this?
From this trailer's music I'm not a fan. It sounds very simple and repetitive, and the percussions sound very computational, one dimensional and boring. They are so many types of percussions, orchestras, Choirs, modulations, etc that could have been applied... I just hope the movie shut my mouth up and I notice enriched music instead.
@@Eren-da-Jaeger Yes, it should be on Disney Plus
It's just generic trailer music, hopefully the ost sounds completely different lmao
It’s a simple background score they keep in all big movies.
I was one of the staff for this masterpiece and i can say that we are very proud for the huge support we have been getting.
You will not being disappointed when watching it!
A lot of excited people around the world! Cant wait!

Great work. I'm a 3d modeler too.
the CGI from Jurassic Park still looks better
Just got done watching it here in South Africa, in 3d... I love it!! I didn't like avatar 1. 3d is amazing!!
I think this one is better. The animation is incredible!!
Just saw it and was genuinely blown away. Probably the best cinematic experience I've ever had. Better than the first in every way from story to acting, a perfect sequel and another technological triumph. Seeing it again tomorrow as too much to take in.
Apart from CGI, the main reason why Avtar was super success is core emotion between the characters.. hope it continues in this part as well.. good luck to the team.. Hard work will never go in vain … looking forward to see this in 3D 🔥🔥
naw, it was the over hyped 3d cgi visuals that made the 1st movie a success. the core "emotions" and the message/moral of the story was and is cringe as heck and something you'll find at the end of a late 80's cartoon show, "Knowing is only half the battle".
This looks amazing. Cameron is truly on of the greatest filmmakers to be currently alive right now. He knows how to bring an epic story like no one else. The team he puts together to help collaborate with always wins. Congratulations to the team. Can’t wait to watch.
Yea
Avatar was often praised for it's graphics and criticized for it's poor storytelling. Cameron in general is made fun of often for overusing explosions and visual effects instead of writing good stories
@@incongruous4 Cameron hired a small team of writers that have done some amazing movies to help him flesh out the story of Avatar, though I forgot who specifically right now. Google is your help for that.
@@Merryianna that's good to hear but I still have a strong gut feeling avatar 2 will be just okay like the first one was
Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but ADVANCED ticket sales have already been out for 5 days. I did go online to check my local theaters here in Los Angeles and barely any tickets have been sold. NOT one single theater has been sold out in this with me looking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so it’s not looking very good so far guys.
WOW 1:38 that Snoricam is immaculate, James Cameron is coming for EVERYTHING 🎥🍿
Forgot everything while watching this film, I truly felt immersed in this world. Simply fantastic.
Holy cow that looks GORGEOUS!! To all the hard working designers, animators, actors, from the cameramen to the interns grabbing coffee and whoever else worked tirelessly to make this possible, thank you!
You only see designs, animations and actors but the real work is beyond that. 😀
The movie in all it’s forms was absolutely phenomenal. Gorgeous, stunning visuals, along with amazingly beautiful story. I absolutely fell in love with Avatar again after 13 years from it’s original release. Thank you for helping make this masterpiece. And hope to see more of it in the near future. ❤️❤️❤️
I mean the story was just the standard cliche story in most fantasy tv series and movies. But I didnt watch a film that looked as beautiful as this one ever.
Looks visually insane but the first avatar was gash
It just looks like the same old crap people are spoon-fed as teens and young adults..when you get older you've seen it all before
Neteyam is a best character from now on.

The storyline, connection to mythology & spirituality is the soul of the movie. VFX are jaw dropping. A must go movie. Worth waiting a decade!
I was 22 and my mom 48 at the time of the first movie. We went to see it together, we didn’t use to go very often to the cinema. And we loved it, I remember my mom saying « I hope they make a sequel, I want to know what happens next ». She died in 2018. Hey mom, the movie is great and I am sure you would have loved it 🥹

1:20 "Protect the people". This hits hard after Neytiri's father's death from the fall of Hometree.
I'm so excited to hear Simon Franglen's score. He was the assistant to James Horner (original composer of Avatar) and worked on the first Avatar with James. The score is definitely in good hands! I'm sure he will keep James's talent and memory alive.
I actually thought the original score wasn’t all that. This tralier has a beautiful track for sure
@@Doty6String idk, i mean it seems you prefer this orchestral sound used in the trailer, but personally i think its a bit overused, the originals tribal singing was incredible and i really hope that he brings it back

Music in trailers is often made only for this purpose… it is often not in the original score of the movie, even if a short theme or melody from the first film is used…. Just to remind you what you hear here is in most cases not in the final film 😇
