I’ve been staring at the screen for the past few minutes... lost for words. This is a masterpiece. Like Tom Hanks, Kong is trapped on an island but is sustained only by his dreams-and an extreme abundance of rum. But as the dream begins to fade, Kong must once again face his greatest foe-reality. And like so many other times before, Kong can’t win this fight because he keeps repeating the same mistakes. Kong could reignite his career. He has the fame and name recognition to at least make it big on RUclips. But instead of holding himself accountable, he drinks to drown away his sorrows, not realizing it’s not his sorrows that are drowning... but his dreams. Genius.
It's just Godzilla trying to go for a swim and mind his own business like the old guy from UP but literal dozens of monsters keep picking fights with him out of nowhere.
Seen gappa when i was around 6 didnt know what to make of it.to me it didnt look like a monster but more like something from sesame street but war of the gargantuas frightened me.
It's all the more hilarious that these... interesting projects are mixed in with insightful reviews, retrospectives, concept exploration and thought experiments. They're as unexpected as they are glorious.

I enjoyed your take on the film but was honestly kind of surprised at how short it was. I understand the movie itself is fairly shallow but I do think a lot more can be said about it. No it's tohos kong from godzilla vs king kong and king kong escapes which features dr who and mecha kong (not actual dr who) The 70's kong was an american movie a little better looking some people prefer it and it had a sequel called king kong lives where they bring him back with a metal heart and there's a female kong The original 30's kong also had a sequel the son of kong where he had a kid Basically the movies came out in sets of two except 2005 one which had no sequel though ot had an extended version and they also finished a scrapped scene from the original king kong that didn't get finished originally in the special features Then there's two spoof movies based of kong that don't really count taht avgn talked about in a set of two and then skull island with kong vs godzilla There's also two or three cartoon series, some comics and a good movie tie in game and a comic explaining his monsterverse origins and about the skullcrawlers, and he might be in future movies if made plus an upcoming cartoon or series tied into the monsterverse
