Hi, I got Traktor S4 Mk1 and one of jogs is not working properly, it does stop song when I touch top plate, but when I start to spin it it just stays on place or moves a little to each side (like vibrates). Outer plastic plate does nothing when is spinned.

I don't know if there is a specific name for it but unfortunately that is the main board. All of the connections go to it and the processor is located there as well. It may also be called the soundboard or the sound card
I just bought an S4 MK2 and 15V power supply. I plugged it in to see if it worked and all it did was flow the lights then master usb light flashes. Does it need to be connected to my laptop to fully power on or is my unit fried? I have time to return it if needed. I do not have a firewire to connect and haven't downloaded the software and updates either. New to the equipment so hope it is nothing.

I'm super late to respond to this but if you still need help, you might have either switched one of the wires somehow or possibly the solder did not form a proper connection. You can check that with a voltmeter and maybe see where the problem lies. Sometimes it's tiny and something crossed without even noticing it without a magnifying glass
Hey ! Can you please tell me if there is solution to fix my problem. MY traktor S4 MK2 has this problem of not able to load tracks using load button right side on deck B. Also sometimes it auto loads the track into deck B. The buttons and cue tack 1 button flickers light and there is no problem whatsoever with the left side .can someone help me .
Sounds like the button is just worn out or possibly damaged from liquid. Look for a SPST (single pole single throw) switch and you should be able to replace it. You might have to find one that's backlit (Unless you dont care if it lights up)
My Traktor comes on, light show and everything, but never get's picked up by the computer, I've had issues plugging, unplugging USB so I'm taking this $5 risk and buying these USB's - I have the S4 MK2 and I really miss playing on it. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the video.
Bought the part and took apart the table, then took it to a computer repair store for the soldering. Still getting the flashing Master indicator, is this because I haven't installed the software? Or could it be that the job wasn't done well enough? My PC might be the issue but I'll be bummed if i paid for repair and it didn't fix the issue.
You need to remove the solder if posible else get someone to help you pull the part out while you apply heat to first the big connecters at the front apply heat to both of them then pull they should pull out and the 4 connecters in the back is still in for those do the same once the two main power lines are out put your soldering iron up to the 4 place it roughtly in the middle applying heat to all 4 at the same time and pull the part should come out
Nice job. Have a quick question, I’m buying a traktor S4 but the guy doesn’t have the registration code, can I still use it with my traktor software? Would it work still?
Does anybody have any experience disassembling the traktor s2mk3? My crossfader is broken, effectively deactivating the unit. I cracked it open hoping it was just an unplugged connection, and I'm waaay in over my head. I bought this thing brand new 3 months ago, I'm so mad that I already have to deal with it being broken.
should be able to do the same repair for the headphone jack! they don't use special hardware in these.. you can buy a 1/4 jack and it should work! make sure you get a stereo one.
Hey, Have you ever heard of issues with the main outputs? Both main output 2 are not working and some people have had similar problems. How hard would it be to fix this? Thanks man

@@slplssmusic Hello thank you for the reply. Wiggling doesn't help. I recently noticed there is a extremely low sound output coming from the right output channels. I've narrowed it down that the soldering may need to be bridged. It's the only option left, tried everything else. It's strange that it's both the right channel output but from what I read they are connected. Their seems to be a few people in a similar situation
@@tomysandelo3450 Look for anything obvious like corrosion, damaged parts, etc. There may be nothing visually wrong at all and it's an internal problem. Let me know how you make out with it!
This is also the case with their Komplete Series of products. My Mikro USB died, paid a fee and have yet to get my replacement.. NI don’t care about customers, shotie hardware.

I'm super late to respond to this but if you still need help, you might have either switched one of the wires somehow or possibly the solder did not form a proper connection. On S2 I can see that song is playing mono. I have the same problem on my S2 so maybe you have solution for that problem. Thanx!!?
I can't figure out how to get the gain and level knobs off. Should I just pull them? I've tried pulling with pliers but I'm just damaging the knobs.
I pulled them part way and then carefully used a flat screwdriver to lever them off the rest of the way.

Aside from the flashing master, does it work fine? mine flashes constantly if Im playing on a laptop that isnt plugged in to power
Did you have trouble desoldering the USB b port? It looks like I desoldered mine but the port won't come off...

Get a new unit on warranty
