I sent in my master’s application about a week ago now and I did not have a clue what I was doing. I’m so glad you’re doing series like this because there are very few resources for master’s applicants and the process is quite different from undergrad. Especially coming a from working class background, where we don’t have the ‘insider’ knowledge that comes with having contacts

Went to Coventry University to study Cyber because I didn't have the opportunity to go to a prestigious one.. people looked down on me because of this. However a month ago I got an offer from Imperial College London. I'm to attend in September. Now people who once were looking down on me are below me!

Thank you for making these vids!! I'm just starting the process of narrowing down my list of social work masters programs. So many of the top social work programs require at least 2 years (3000 hours minimum) of full time work experience post-bachelors. I think it's really important to get that experience, especially in career specific fields, as doing so requires you to put theory into practice and see how things "really" work. I also feel that age does not matter when it comes to education. It's why and how you do it that matters. If the passion is there, go for it.

If I have, like being over my age and had a once failed history in the past, specifically in first year, It can affect on my application for Masters in future time? I mean here, over average age is I guess I will reach at precisely 27, any thoughts on my decision. I decided to take my first year start again. Like it's as reattending cos I can do it in my side cos uni closed for COVID without the first year finished. So, instead of going, continue to the left, half semester of first year. I decided like in above situation, decision. It's quite an important role in me. So, friend What do you think? My decision is Good or bad like according to your experiences with along your student journey, pros and cons.. that can happen ? Pre planning and thinking! Thanks!
I want to do a Masters in Public Policy at Oxford but the course fees alone is £45,000, but its literally the perfect course for me. So now my dilemma is do I still go for it but then what if I don't get funding, or do I just do something similar like Comparative Social Policy which is £14,000. I have looked other universities, but their modules don't really interest me.

@@abrarelidrisi6888 Hey, so I was able to get a scholarship to study at KCL or UCL. I chose KCL, just because the course at UCL was tailored towards someone who wanted to do a PHD. I had applied to comparative social policy at Cambridge and got rejected. Hope that helps!

yeah, I did my undergrad at a non-Russell group uni that's not highly ranked and got offers from UCL and Kings for my masters :)
