Debating on whether on not to get my Masters in Spain and I'm so glad I came across your video. We have pretty much the exact same reasons for studying abroad. For me the cost is especially important. The cost of a Masters degree in America is disheartening and one of the main reasons I'm hesitant to get my degree. I am currently applying for a MiM in UK for 2020 and I find your videos soooo helpful. However, I’m a bit concerned that because the program is only one year long, it’s hard to fully immerse myself in a different culture. Also, I feel like have to start looking for a future job as soon as I start my masters study. Do you have any advice on this issue? Thanks!
Yeah recruiting generally starts that first/fall semester especially for graduate schemes! One year goes by fast for sure. I feel lucky because I got a taste of British culture during my semester abroad in undergrad, and then London was completely different because it’s so international.
Hi, how are the job opportunity after i complete my masters in industrial engg. if i don't have any work expirence.
The fact is doing masters in UK straightway after my bachelor's is it fine to go for?
Mam what is the scope of getting a masters degree in the UK on renewal energy? Got any idea on this?
what are the top universities for MSc marketing in London and or in the world which are relatively inexpensive to the US
Not sure to be honest! London School of Economics and London Business School are definitely more well-known in the US.
Did you take the GMAT before applying??
I took the GRE and i have a video on how to study for it!
is your plan to stay in the UK once you're done?
I finished my degree in September 2017 and then moved back to the US for work!
What is the placment ratio for mim grads in ucl?
What is the average salary for the same in uk
LBS, Oxford asks for 3 years work experience did you have them.
What about the job opportunities... After completion of course.
many of my classmates went into consulting, marketing, finance, HR... lots of options!
@@bykchoi Thanks for your worthy reply...is there any creteria, that if you wont get a job within few months , you will be deported. As Uk earlier was quite risky.
good luck in London!
regards from Spain
She's already been to London.
@@nathanielmills4678 ah okay, thanks.
I misunderstood.
are there any possible scholarship for an international student taking Masters degree not even in UK were you took your's, but in any different countries. thank you
Check the EMJMD catalogue
I studied in the UK too, love east midlands, though now im down under ❤️. Best reason to study abroad is to be out as a queer person hahahha
aw glad you enjoyed your experience!
Is it just as competitive in terms of job placement in the US?
I sort of touched on it at the end of the video but it depends on how well known the university is, probably!
Will MIM Degree be enough to land me a job as a management consultant?
Depends on a lot of other things like previous work or internship experience, for example!
@@bykchoi right now i am doing my B.com plus CIMA (UK)
Then i am planning to pursue MIM (with zero work experience)
Did you attend your masters graduation in London?
I didn’t :( we had a completion ceremony a few days after my flight back to the US (in September 2017 after I finished my program), and then the official graduation ceremony wasn’t until July 2018 and it wasn’t worth it for me to go.
Which European country is best to pursue MIM
1) UK
2) Germany
3) Netherlands
4) spain
Probably depends more on the specific university than the country :)
Which uni?
I went to University College London (UCL)!
yup, MiM student in TBS, Toulouse,FR here I really wanted to have an abroad education and also I wanted to spend as much time as possibly can thus 2 year course, I could have chosen US schools also but then again cost issues and this programme really fitted my main wishes of what i wanted to get out the degree so really liking it in France and also Toulouse is so much true for being student friendly it really is amazing here as how much these guys party here, the things which i did not consider was language and food, although i anticipated language one thou but sincerely food was really surprising one, simply the food is shit here so that's the only grief here
Aw I’m sorry the food isn’t good 😭 but glad you enjoy the other aspects of being abroad!
Good on you
Brilliant city.
