So many of these malls were built back when electricity was cheap. They bought the least expensive unit they could get away with. That's why 20 years on many of these malls are now being abandoned or torn down.
No it was not. Compressor was not able to start cause it was missing a leg of power. Had me a bit confused cause the fan motors were still seemingly starting. Still not sure electrically what exactly the fans were doing
Still not sure what was going on with those motors maybe someone who's worked on these and seen this (or just understands electrically what happened) can explain it here in the comments. I couldn't check voltage at the disconnect cause it was painted which is why I went straight to the compressor. I got pricing on the coils and a replacement unit and they are almost the same price but replacing the unit will require changes inside obviously. They are trying to go after the mall on this is my understanding and the mall has sent a couple guys out. The first mall sent guy was there before me and could not figure out that the fuse was popped so I'm not sure he knew what he was doing. There may or may not be future videos involving this system😂😂
@@SurfBrosHVAC I know the feeling. Not to mention the paperwork. Disney store had their own paperwork that you had to fill out on top of the normal paperwork. My legs would be burning from walking and my hand would be cramping from writing.

3 people to clean a coil, thats a first!
@@aarons5567 it was a slow morning and they don’t have a ton of commercial experience so it was a group project
So was the compressor locked up? Maybe I missed it?

I hope they pay you now that they're going after the mall.
They paid within 5 minutes of me sending the invoice
@@SurfBrosHVAC Oh wow nice
Poor Colton maybe he was getting P Diddy vibes while entering restroom.
He was just going along with it too
I’ve serviced units on every mall in North Ga. They are a pain in the but. A lot of walking is involved. I do not miss it.
I cut out like 15 minutes of footage of me walking around lost at the beginning. Got my steps in on that first visit

Hi bro 😊
