I know it's been said before, but it's worth saying again... These guys do more before breakfast than most people do all day. They are the backbone of this country and deserve so much more credit than they are given most of the time. A HUGE, YUGE big, bigger than ever seen before, ol' 'THANK YOU' to Eric, his dad, and every Farmer and Rancher in this country (especially the Mt. Dew Farmers out there). 🙏
You and your dad are the hardest working men I've ever seen. I had no idea how much knowledge, skill and flat out hard work it takes to be a dairyman. Respect!
Farmers like you help make the world go around, don't ever lose that drive or ambition to do what you do, and do to it right, like you do, great job, love the videos!!
Hello from Michigan, hope you’re staying warm. Thank you for all the hard work you do to bring these videos and your milk into my home. I never realized how much it takes to produce a gallon of milk, you certainly bring every part of the process into prospective for me. You are a very hard working man, and you should be proud of yourself. I’m sure you’re Dad is super proud of you. It’s awesome to see how great you treat all of your animals, I never knew that milk cows had such nice beds.🙂
At first I thought you said "Ready to grab the mystery tractor now" and I was super intrigued. Was thinking "oooh, I wonder what they got..." 😂 Then I realized you said mixer tractor. Great video, sir. Thanks for sharing!
Cows are so cool. They have an excellent memory. They also are very aware of their surroundings. If something is out of place in their area from say the day before as an example , let’s use a paper cup and it had fallen off a shelf and rolled into a corner, you can bet that one or more of those cows will go over and investigate. All of my relatives were into dairy. It’s hard work but I didn’t mind one bit. I was always busy when we visited them. A farm is where it’s at. I commend you and your family for the effort that you put forth so I can have my milk to drink. Take care and stay safe😀
So easy to listen to you. not blah blah blah, but real info. really enjoy your work, but glad I live a bit further south. Don't like winter in my old age
I’ve heard always like your own videos because the more likes the better for RUclips. So I guess I’ll like my comment so the RUclips algorithms think your stuff is that awesome. LOL. But I do very much enjoy your videos. God Bless.
I learned a new dairy farming term today: 'distributing'. Example sentence: 'any cow found distributing in the food trough will be sold for slaughter'.
Looks like you're getting used to the new TMR mixer. We sold our farm here in E-Town and we're moving to Northumberland County. We have 600 tons of corn silage if you need any extra. Hope you have a great weekend
All your vlogs are QUALITY. Working on the Corn Planter...Spring can't be to far off. I like the new Feeder Wagon, and I'm not even a farmer. Well done 🐮🐄 🐄 🐄 🐄 🐄
Y'all need to measure and mark on top of walls of your bunk feeders then you could tell at a glance what's left and wouldn't be freezing stepping it off! It's cold in East Texas and will be below freezing for highs till the 19th they say!! Very rare!!
Eric, thanks again. Glad to see your Dad working so well. I'm hoping he has healed completely from his previous surgery! Congratulations on your recent honor of best RUclipsr for Dairy Farmer. Not sure who's video it was; but it was occasionally funny as the narrator did not know how to pronounce some of the farm terminology.🤣 I was happy to watch and know that you were being recognized for all your hard work. Keep up the fantastic work!!
How you like the new mix feed cart after a cold hard winter? Think about a hydraulic extendable rotary brush broom for the skid loader to knock the poop off the milker loafing shed stalls. So much easier than the back breaking brush and gets all the poop off including the hardened stuff. Can even add water tank and sanitizer bug killer Can be used for lots of other cleaning operations on the dairy.
Ohh, how I wish we’d farmed small, make servicing a lot easier. We had to change the mid row bander pins from a plastic spacer and and old rusty pin to a pin to a grease-able pin. The plastics was corroded in so bad we spent all day getting the plastic out and not much else. And they where both 45ft drills🥵😳

As consumers we never give alot of thought to when we purchase a gallon of milk just what kind of an effort goes into it. Stay safe and warm.

Maybe it would be feasible to buy 4 tire skates and move the implement into the shed at an angle. Probably cheaper than installing a 20' door.

Hi I'm a new sub love your videos
the quality of your feed is very impressive, a well fed holstein is a good producer as you are very aware.
