Things change. CNN used to be the epitome of respected news, now it's a laughing stock with viewership that is pathetic. FOX was once a tool of the Neo-cons, but since Trump, most republicans woke up to the RINOs in their midst, so FOX had to change their coverage or suffer like CNN. The democrat party was once highly racist before and after supporting slavery, things changed and they represented the middle class..... they do NOT represent working middle class people. Pay attention to how things change or you'll be convinced of 1 team, 1 argument and 1 side you'll never back away from, and then you become the one supporting things like corporate fascism, like the democrats do now.

I’m with you but sadly even experts in medicine are influenced by politics, money and lobbying. There was a time when tobacco companies used doctors' authority to make their claims about their cigarettes seem more legitimate. Same with sugar. A newly discovered cache of internal documents reveals that the sugar industry downplayed the risks of sugar in the 1960s. In the 1960s, the sugar industry funded research that downplayed the risks of sugar and highlighted the hazards of fat, according to a newly published article in JAMA Internal Medicine. Same with the link between fat and cholesterol. There are so many examples throughout our modern history.
This is not an issue of the past it’s still going on today and why sadly we have to sometimes do our own research and fact check some of these so called experts. And the fact that when other doctors and experts challenge such claims that they are silenced and sometimes have their jobs taken away when in fact that’s how science works. Scientist should challenge each other.

Russell Brand is such an incredible disappointment. There was a time when he seemed to have some sort of coherent critique of power. He drifted towards spiritualism more and more (we know now this was because of immense guilt about how he treated women), and now he is so cynical, so detached from the lived reality and interests of normal people, he will sit on a stage with people like Carlson and MTG saying things they are too pea brained to comprehend in the full knowledge that he is platforming and giving them more intellectual and moral credibility than they deserve (in no small part because he is a convoluting pseudo-intellectual victorian sideshow).
The guy has dozens of videos about the dangers of ego, I don't know how the cognitive dissonance doesn't give him broken blood-vessels in his eyes.

I went to a small talk radio convention back in the 1990s here in Austin, Texas to listen to Dr Dean Edell, a (real) physician who had a regular show on local radio at the time. He had the "good fortune" to follow George Noory, a talk show host who still peddles in conspiracy theories, the supernatural, and pseudoscience.
Fans of George Noory stayed to listen to Dr Edell, and then proceeded to bombard him with all kinds of questions about why the medical establishment conspired to keep all the "known" cures for cancer a secret to keep the American public sick so they can continue to make billions selling them more and more medications.
It got so bad he stopped his Q&A and gave a 10 minute lecture on why (in very generous terms) their conspiracy theory was insane. Of course, it didn't make a blind bit of difference, but at least he tried. That was 30 years ago now, and it's only gotten worse since then.

There is a cure, you just don't know of it, and probably wouldn't accept it if I told you. Rather than taking out your depression on Brand, you might do your own research, because most doctors including oncologists, are too busy to do any research, or even catch up on the research that;s been done.
CkueL The immune system mops up cancer cells all the time, our cells occasionally go bad and start multiplying, the immune system steps in and bobbles them up before a tumour is ever formed. So first you need to get your immune system working 100%. Unlerss you live in Africa, you aren't getting enough sun to make sufficient vit D [actually a steroidal hormone vital for every process in the body]. Most people's D levels in the Northern Hemisphere are so low it will take at least a year to build yours up to what;s needed. Vitamin D supplements are very cheap and available online in large enough doses [in shops doses are barely enough to treat rickets]. You need to take at least 5,000 IU [International Units] daily, but there is no risk from taking twice that or more. Once the level in bnlood has risen, a maintenance dose of 4,00 0- 8,000 is all you need. So far so good. You won't suffer from flu or covid or anything else linked to pathogens.
As for cancer, there is growing evidence that cannabis cures cancers. If in the UK you could join the DrugScience 2021 scheme which is building data on a range of conditions, also Curaleaf Pharmacy prescribes cannabis. If in the US you should be able to access medical cannabis either from a doctor or a cannabis shop if your state is one of the enlightened ones.
Watch a documentary called 'Weed the People' on Netflix. It tells the story of a ghroup of children aged 6 months to fourteen years [I may be slightly out on detail, it was several years ago I saw it]. One woman worked to reject the doctors 'take them home to say goodbye', she sourced the cannabus resin, and the parents all agreed to the trisal. One small drip under the tongue daily. In a few days they were starting to be more lively, poor scared fraces were changed to smiles, they started responding, joking, playing. It was an astonishing transformation. When scanned by medics there was no trace of tumour and they went off to continue their llives. Just one developed another tumour some years later, which may have been an immune deficiency.
I leave you with this in hope you benefit from it. Good luck, I hope your fear is replaced with joy. Long life man.

Surprisingly, Brand made a great point here. All he asked was if MTG thought that allowing corporate money in politics increases the chance of corruption. Also surprisingly, MTG agreed.
They were both entirely correct here, but of course Brand had to say it in the douchiest, most pretentious way possible. And of course MTG didn't understand the question.

I honestly didn't realize RB had fallen/deteriorated so far as to align himself with MTG. I knew he had gone off the deep end but wow.

They really should compare possible side effects of vaccines against the side effects of having what the vaccine is meant to treat.
It usually makes things a lot clearer.

After seeing Russell Brand getting baptized, I'm beginning to think that modern-day Christians view their public displays of faith as absolving them of any lies that may come from their mouths.
