Even though the singer from la "Canción de Alicia" and Pity Álvarez sound similar I highly doubt it's him. Pity and his old bands (Viejas Locas and Intoxicados) are still massive here in Argentina, so surelly someone would have recognized it as an old demo or something pretty easily. As far as I'm aware their albums contained only songs in spanish and their lyrics were maily about social issues and sometimes drugs, while La Canción de Alicia's lyrics seem to be more related to a generic romantic theme (maybe). It doesn't rule out that it's and old demo by Pity, but to me the singer of La Canción de Alicia sounds younger, possibly a teenager, which would also align with the lyrics and the sound of the band being kind of amateurish, if it was a recording from a well-known artist they probably would have had access to better equipment, right?
I'm Brazilian. Yes, the singer could plausibly be Brazilian, and if so likely from the South/Southeast but not from Rio, judging both by the accent and the Brazilian rock scene from the mid-2000s to mid-2010s. But Brazil is so big that it's just an educated guess
2:18 “me encanta dms” reffers to “i love it a lot/i really love it”, not about dms kjjjj. really nice video tho, i hope we get to know who did this song someday: (
i liike that this video also talks about the origin of the bizarre alice video because that was one of the most interesting parts of the mystery to me lol
Yeah I think its probably because that his sentence "I'll make the 2.0 version" really made people think that he was a singer along with his another sentence "just wait for the video" when people questioned him through emails from the old band email address he was used to be part of
It's a sad thing you do videos to promote real art but at the same time you use ai images, like the thumbnail or one Alice picture at the beginning, simply a contradiction
12:58 idk about the accent, if I'm singing I usually wind up somewhat mimicking the accent of the original singer (be it American, British, etc). Also if the singer was sick or a smoker at the time may have made their voice sound lower than it actually was?
Can someone answer me something? If this is a lost song, nobody knows who originally cretad this music or even who is the sing the song. Who owns the copyright of this music? This is a free song to use it in any form of media? I don't mean the new covers but the lyrics and the original one. This song is in the public domain?
I think it's plausible that a man's voice will get lighter as they age. The most obvious example being Critikal or Penguin0 who you can tell had his voice get lighter as time went on.
"The original creator..." * "The creator..." (The creator of something already IS the originator. People who come along and modify it are just modifiers or redesigners, etc.)
I've seen two videos about this song and in BOTH of these videos, y'all talk about his accent or his voice or his singing, but those change over time. The original Gin&Tonic video was about 16 years ago. If it IS Ricardo, it's entirely possible that his voice just changed and he practiced the accent to better suit what he wanted to sing. It's not entirely out of the question.
@@kiriyaki201 Yeah but not like, that much. I can do a pretty decent approximation of a male opera voice but I'll never be able to do what Pavarotti does. It won't matter how much I practice, how much Italian I learn or what conditioning exercises I do. I just don't have the equipment. I'm a barry. I'll never be a tenor.
The voice and style of singing is very characteristic of Ilya Lagutenko - member of the Russian pop/rock band "Mumii Troll". So I guess, this was recorded from one of their live concerts. Just listen to this song and judge by yourself. ruclips.net/video/V7iCZQgK0SQ/видео.html

In my opinion is Ricardo really near to the original Singer or he is the original artist. The original singer is for me clearly a Tenor two.
This song just got found! Bad Influence - Dreams 4ever (2018)
However, the live version is the only audio we have yet so far.
I'm Brazilian. Yes, the singer could plausibly be Brazilian, and if so likely from the South/Southeast but not from Rio, judging both by the accent and the Brazilian rock scene from the mid-2000s to mid-2010s. But Brazil is so big that it's just an educated guess
They were Peruvian💀
Dude, I'd love to see what you could do with the lostwave song "Again" / "Again and Again"
Who made the Alice art in the thumb? I want to know the artist who made that rad Alice so bad, it's cool as hell
Actually I forget if i mentioned this but I had a friend of mine draw a goth girl with a guitar then I had ai remix it with a picture of Alice
Hoping fmm comes next 🙏🙏🙏 great video
Check the end of the video 😉 (it does)
It was discovered. Go look it up!
2:18 “me encanta dms” reffers to “i love it a lot/i really love it”, not about dms kjjjj. really nice video tho, i hope we get to know who did this song someday: (
Lmao I am learning dms is short for demasiado not “DMs” lmao but thank you so much glad you liked the video!!
HOLY SHIT NEW LEAD!
r u gonna make a recreation of “everyone knows that”
He did
2:16 DMS = demasiado, means "a lot", not DMs 😂
Lmao my bad, I assumed the abbreviations would carry over
Good video. Thanks, and good luck!
CHILE MENTIONED 🦅🦅🦅🦅🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
I was disappointed with yor coverage of everyone knows that, but I'm really adoring this one
i liike that this video also talks about the origin of the bizarre alice video because that was one of the most interesting parts of the mystery to me lol
The singer sounds very very Spanish to me, he could be from Spain
Why in the word would people think Richardvox is actually the creator of the song? It’s OBVIOUSLY a cover people
Yeah I think its probably because that his sentence "I'll make the 2.0 version" really made people think that he was a singer along with his another sentence "just wait for the video" when people questioned him through emails from the old band email address he was used to be part of
still easily the best cover of the song so far
It's a sad thing you do videos to promote real art but at the same time you use ai images, like the thumbnail or one Alice picture at the beginning, simply a contradiction
thats also my feeling. ai sucks
12:58 idk about the accent, if I'm singing I usually wind up somewhat mimicking the accent of the original singer (be it American, British, etc).
Also if the singer was sick or a smoker at the time may have made their voice sound lower than it actually was?
Hey, I'm an Alicia. 😇
Nice to meet you lol. You got a whole ass lost song dedicated to you
@andretyroneii941 I know, I'm so special!! 👻haha jk.
Maybe I'm lost as well, and just don't know it... hmm. Well, who isn't these days anyways, huh? 😅
I look though every song on the intoxicados youtube channel and its sadly not there.
Can someone answer me something? If this is a lost song, nobody knows who originally cretad this music or even who is the sing the song. Who owns the copyright of this music? This is a free song to use it in any form of media? I don't mean the new covers but the lyrics and the original one. This song is in the public domain?
Yes. The original is free for use
I think it's plausible that a man's voice will get lighter as they age. The most obvious example being Critikal or Penguin0 who you can tell had his voice get lighter as time went on.
Aquí la clave es encontrar ajitomate triste y preguntarle de donde saco el clip
Dude, you pronounce it perfectly!
So was the album cover used for your single (like on Apple Music) ai generated? The guitar looks a bit merged with the apron thing on her dress
I don’t really have anything to say other than good job on those Spanish pronunciations
"The original creator..."
* "The creator..." (The creator of something already IS the originator.
Dreamy psych on display here
For sure.
Hey what's the name of the song at the 12.42 mark please someone tell me
High and Dry by Radiohead!
Have you ever heard of the unknown song nobodies angels,
I love dms too
I like this song really
MAN, WE FOUND IT!!!
the singer's voice reminds me of schwoz schwartz from henry danger
"jitomate" is a Mexican word could the OP be from Mexico?
lmao
The singer sounded British at first listen rather than chilean, lol.
vocal sounds little bit like Liam Gallagher
I NEEEED the full original version!!
Solved!- bad influence-dreams4ever (2018)
IT GOT FOUND
Dude check out the most mysterious metal song fall of the king
Oh yeah that ones is a banger 🤘
it's called under the star
That's the cover by Ricardo
The animation looks like it’s from Disney
It is
Awesome!
It's not him. I like his version but it's not him.
Probably is, they're both called Ricardo Mendéz and accents, singing voices and just the grasp of English can change soo

Oh look it's Ukraine 🇺🇦
OFHDN
?
@@Imacrab398 i was meant to say "found"
Erm what the sigma
The voice and style of singing is very characteristic of Ilya Lagutenko - member of the Russian pop/rock band "Mumii Troll". So I guess, this was recorded from one of their live concerts. Just listen to this song and judge by yourself. ruclips.net/video/V7iCZQgK0SQ/видео.html
