At the end of the 10th transmission means at the start of the 11th transmission so which will make it to 8MSS I guess because after 10th transmission we receive ACK and then only we say that the 10th transmission ended up which in other words 11th transmission started !!

True. But in answer key given by gate, if u see both the answers are considered. Either u tick for 10th transmission time or 11th both are correct.
