I have the 15 pro max and it’s been the best battery I’ve ever had in a phone. I go easily from 345am to 930pm and still have about 30% with 8 hrs of sot.
Im using iphone 15 and it doesn’t last for one day. I use 4G not wifi to make video call . Also using youtube instagram facebook . It only last for 4hours
Impressive results. As for YT producing less SOT on the Pro models, I suspect that has to do with YT still not being updated by Google for the A17 pro. It took them months to get the A16 optimised. So expect the Pros to get better SOT with YT sooner rather than later, assuming Google bothers. The web test was on Safari, so we can see that it is better optimised for the A17P chip because it is an Apple app. Hence, it easily beats out the A16 for SOT. I use Safari for YT, and it gets better battery life on my iPhone 15PM than this test. Amazing the battery life we get out of these small computers/phones. Thankfully, Android no longer uses Samsung-made chips, so they can also enjoy brilliant battery life comparable with the iPhone 15s.
for it to support variable refresh rate ... seems it blasting full 120 hz for nothing thats why it is taking a lot more juice than the plus@@narutobroken
@@narutobroken Poor optimisation, a state of play for Google apps on iOS. All I know is that any Google app is worse on iOS/macOS than an Apple app; for example, Chrome -v- Safari.
I got the iPhone 15 pro when it came out and it overheats like crazy. I thought with the updates it would go away eventually. But yesterday I literally got burnt from my phone. It heats up like an oven literally everyday and I have to constantly recharge it. I’m worried because I think it’s too late for me to switch to the iPhone 15 plus without spending a bunch of extra money :(

I am still so confused between standard and plus model. For battery i definitely wanna go for plus series but it's a known thing that 60hz will feel more sluggish as you go up in screen size. Any suggestions here??
I use two phones . 15 for office. 15 plus for home. There’s basically no difference in smoothness and fluidity. They feel exactly same. I think to notice the difference you have to go upto iPad size.
My sister has the 15 pro and I have the 15 plus. She wants to change and take my phone due to its battery . I have both on my hands and the smoothness’s and camera quality are pretty similar.
Well I couldn't use the same videos but 100%-0%, RUclips on 50% brightness and 1080p fixed, my OnePlus 6T got 11 hours exactly, beating three of these phones. I'd love to see an equal comparison with the 6T and the current gen flagships

Yea I have mine set to only charge to 80 and it still gets better performance than my old phone by a couple hours at least

What is there for YT to change? Unless there is a new codec supported by the A17 it won’t make a difference

Where’s your phone made in? Currently there are issues with the one manufacture in india

Sounds like a software bug, hope the restore fixed it for you!
Why should it be too late? If the phone is overheating and therefore unusable, then you have the right to a warranty claim.

Is the ambient mode enabled for RUclips on the Pro models? That could make a big difference on how much battery life et consumes
They put it on full screen mode which should mitigate the ambient mode

It’s because your wife’s 15 does not have the A17 Pro chip inside of it nor does the regular 15 have always on display and 120 HZ.

60hz saves battery. The pros are fixed at 120hz. Its common sense.
they're not fixed they're variable
They are not fixed. 10 seconds of research tells you that the pro have LTPO which lets it go from 120-1 hz which the base models and plus don’t have.
