Did you notice the guy who killed Ricky is the farmer that they stole the bull semen from? Also one of the cops was a lawyer and judge in the show at different times. It also looks like the cop with the camcorder was the one that took a selfie with Randy’s gut.

I think the initial intention with the lawn mower was to offer a service to homeowners to mow their lawn. Or at least, that's what I would do if I was a homeless man with nothing to my name except for a lawn mower.
