High output uses the 2170 cells which gives the tool more power. The 9ah uses the older 1850 cells

@Tradesmen Life yeah it's pretty crazy hey. I put a 5ah battery in my gen 2 mid torque then a 6.0ah high output. I then pulled the trigger and the 6ah ho battery even sounded way faster

Very late to the party. I am doing the research right now about buying a new weedeater and attachments.
FYI, the shape of the cutting line and its strength is highly dependent on where you are cutting. If you are trimming against a chain link fence then the smooth line is better. If cutting in the open the line with "texture" is sometimes better, but it depends on the quality.
The reason, the line with cutting ridges will bite into the fence and break. Smooth tough line will slip on the fence more easily.
I am a big fan of Milwaukee tools and Home Depot has some really good sales right now. Last month I upgraded my M12 Fuel driver and hammer drill to the Gen 3. 229.00 for the kit with a free HO 5 amp battery.
    Thanks for the video brother.

Nice yes they do have great deals, I got it back from Milwaukee it’s working good now, cheaper to buy more equipment than buy batteries or charger separately

I bought the Milwaukee last September. It’s now in the shop for warranty work after it started surging then slowing down continuously. Tried a different battery and still did the same thing. How Milwaukee handles my warranty claim will decide if I ever buy another of their products.

Yep same happened to me, they fixed it with no problem, I sent it away and received it in a few weeks no problems since

How is the Milwaukee trimmer doing 1 year later? One of the few battery trimmers that takes standard batteries.

Good still use it every week , the battery that it comes with last a long time, they have a new one that’s really overpriced with duel batteries for 700, the rapid charger makes a big difference

Breaking news Tim from Canada.. reviews are out.. the new or your old Milwaukee fuel M 18 quick LOK . is burning batteries meaning that when you are using your system your battery are burning up at the back when you take them out. Sometimes there is white powder that will be discharged from them. There is videos of this on the Internet…… you have a big box. I don’t understand why you cannot put the handle on this unit…… so to sum up this review the Milwaukee, M 18 fuel quick.LOK is burning batteries when they are inside using them

I have no problem, it’s working great, any tool with a lot of torque will burn up batteries like my angle grinder
