Great opportunity for a one year user review. Many people are saying that the battery and power head gets hot and melts around the terminals. Plus, it shuts off frequently from overheating.

It seems like everything is going electric now even string trimmers
When the sting gets short how do you release more string ?
To get more string simply press the entire bottom part of the plastic spool towards the stick. Or when operating it, you can simply press it against the ground which the trimmer is spinning.
$80 less with the tool only. Currently $300 for the kit.
