I remember watching Jerry's show before it went loony toons. I rarely ever watch it anymore. Same shit, different day. Beverly Hillbillies was a great show back in the day. I watched many reruns when I was a kid. Granny was a HOOT!
Thanks again, I watched parts 2 - 5 first and had to come back for this one. This was about 20 years after the Beverly Hillbillies went off the air and now another 20 plus years have went by since this Springer show aired. I'm feeling really old right now.
I think Lardass Asshole fell off the truck. I didnt realize I was taking an English test when I posted, lol. Some folks like to pick out spelling and bad grammar but I fail to see where my English was that bad. In daily life, language is just a way to communicate, and I think my comments were simple enough to understand. I'm not writing any high brow novels here.
Phrases like 'gone by' or 'passed by' would have looked and sounded nicer in that sentence but my use of the phrase '20 plus years have went by' was still grammatically correct. English is complicated. If I had written 'I have went to the store' it would be wrong but in the context of the sentence in question, it is right. Try searching: 'went by meaning' or 'went definition' and you will find you (I wont pick on your 8 year old) still have some learning to do.
What a legend!!! I detect a tad of Elvis Presley in his voice. Look at his incredible hair. He could pass for a Elvis Presley’s cousin. So handsome!!! ❤️
What actors don't realize when they are typecast, is that when one door closes, another door opens. Jethro, I mean Max Baer became a great producer / director.
He couldn't resist the temptation to exploit the stoopidity and patheticness of a television audience and destroyed his credibility with those of us who saw through it all. Same goes for Maurey Povich.

I wish tv was more like bervery hillbilles shows back then was good to watch back then you had to deside which show to watch now so many bad shows on TV you flip thur channels trying you find a good show and we have over 120 channels today back then only had 3 channels to pick from and never was a problem find a good program to watch TV sucks today
Great advice, Norm and Tina. I do just about everything you mentioned. Have a cheap cell phone for emergency’s that costs me only $11.00 a month. My Dodge Caravan just celebrated its 20th birthday.
Is this an anomaly for Jerry Springer? I mean, all I remember of his show is exploitation, fights, people who cheated, people who come out as gay or transsexual, or transvestite, etc. The Jerry Springer Show that I am familiar with had ZERO CLASS and was simply trash television.
Yeah it didn't start really taking off with wild shows until 1997 or 98. Jerry was a newscaster before this, and I'd say shows from 91-93 were completely serious, and kinda mixed in the mid 90s.

He is a dead now. Died of pancreatic cancer on 4/27/23. I wish they would find a cure for cancer already. It’s a horrible disease to suffer with.
