Wwoohoo I'm printing mine right now! $10 is such a great deal for a pattern that I not only customized to me but you also show many ways I can use it. Too amazing ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this! I am looking forward to working on this, and following along with your other videos. Once I figure out the sloper for my size, I'll be checking out your other patterns and looking into your classes this year.
thank you so much for posting this! I am excited to make more steps toward making my own wardrobe!! I have made a few things already but want to be better. I've already signed up for one of your sewing classes! I can't wait to learn more and more!
I love, love, love this pattern. I wish I could send a picture of my dress I made. I have a question. Can I just add bias tape or a draft a facing to make the sleeveless or do I adjust the sleeve the armhole? Thank you so much you’re wonderful.
I would love to see it. Email it to me. sewanastasia@gmail.com For the armhole... if you add bias. Take off the seam allowance on the arm hole if you do or you can make a facing but then leave the seam allowance. So happy this worked out well for you . ❤️🎀
hey Anastasia! I just downloaded your sloper pattern but there are no notches on it... where do I put them to line the pieces up and set in the sleeve?
With this sloper pattern once you make it to your size, do you have to use the darts or can this be just a plain sloper pattern without using the darts?
If you don’t use the darts it will be too big for you & it will be a funny shape. You need to turn it into a knit sloper. I’ll add it to my video list.
One more question: this pattern is for woven fabrics only. Do you need to use another sloper pattern if you want to create this look in a knit or stretch type of material.
Yes this sloper is for woven fabric. If you used a double knit it would sew up well & keep its shape with the darts & zipper etc but if you are wanting to create knit garments you want to use a knit sloper set.
I bought the Sloper pattern and put it together! I partially measured myself to get the bust waist and hip for the Sloper, but I see that my bust is an 18, waist is a 22 and hip is in between a 14 and a 16. I measured along my abdomen since it poofs out a bit and actually it seems a larger size than my hips at their widest point. I'm not very curvy but can usually hide this a bit to look kind of normal sloppy in the way I dress which is not tailored at all but can usually pull off. I'm worried about going from a larger waist size to the smaller hip. What should I do? I think I should use the 16 in the hip to give myself a little room? I tried to see what that would look like and it's strange, should I just use the 22 all the way down for the hips as well? I think I have an apple shape.
Hi, I would use a 22 all the way down and sew up a muslin. Then you can decide if you want to take it in below your poof or just leave it. Did you sew it up yet? How did it go?
Thank you so much for this. I just happened to find you yesterday... and within an hour of thinking, wow, I like how she's explaining things, you popped up with this sloper video. :-). I've been searching RUclips. I am very interesting in making a fit sloper. Not only do I think it'd be fun to create my own patterns from the sloper, but I'm trying to see how to take my fit sloper and apply it to patterns I already have... I'm not seeing much out there that really explains how to translate the knowledge from the fit sloper to an existing pattern. Or maybe I just can't figure out the correct search engine words for it. Regardless, thank you! (1. after achieving this sloper, do you need to make a knit sloper as well? Or can you extrapolate the knowledge from the woven sloper to work for knits?)
This looks sew delightful to make. Thanks.
Thank you 😊

Just got the file, thanks again. Is there a reason why the darts aren't included? I see they aren't in this video either.
Sounds great. The darts are on the pattern. There are 16 darts!

@@SewAnastasia Yes absolutely, it is virtual though. I'm in NC but really wanted to learn more!
I couldn't find the sloper dress pattern on your website anymore :(
On the sleeve pattern the grainline is in at an angle I didn’t catch it first time I sewed this up was I suppose to match the angle to grain line ?
Oh boo I’ll check that & update the pattern if need be. Fold the pattern in half for the grainline.

Thankyou so much for this. Fitting is always my biggest challenge when sewing.
Do you have a pants sloper as well?
I do t have any pant slopers to download right now but it’s on my list!
I wanted to ask this too.
Can you please reply with the link to the pdf sloper you created? I can’t find it anywhere

Nice ❤
hey Anastasia! I just downloaded your sloper pattern but there are no notches on it... where do I put them to line the pieces up and set in the sleeve?
My bad I’ll fix that & send out an updated copy but the side of the sleeve with elbow darts is the back of the sleeve.
@@SewAnastasia okay perfect! thank you~~
Thanks for the tutorial!! I need to select one size to order my slopper or it comes in differents sizes?
You get all the sizes in a layered pdf pattern.
@@SewAnastasia Thanks! I'm going to buy it.😍
Hi I ordered from your website for $0 thank you! How do I go about receiving the pdf?
Awesome 👏 If you read the description it says it’s going to be emailed out tonight. So keep an eye out for it around 9pm CST.
Looking forward to it! 🙏🏼💕

How exciting 🥳 Happy sewing & thank you for following.
You will need to fit your sloper & then u can make a knit block from it
How can I add extra length from the bust to waist? I seem to have an unusually long back 😅
You can add it at the waist length or slash your pattern where you need length and tape paper into the slash.
❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Please, saw more men underwear ( retro style and more)
I will add it to my list. Thank you for the feedback!
