Great game took abit of time to get into it but once get use to the game and get kills with out being hurt you enjoy it and it is a beautiful game. And brill story
I thought that not killing your uncle was Jin fully embracing the ghost persona, I mean his ghost tactics were already look upon negatively by his uncle, if you spare him it’s him leaning in to the ghost where if you kill him its Jin’s chance to redeem himself as samurai
Jin adapted ghost tactics not because he despised his uncle but because it was the only way to deal with Mongols. Coming on to the epilogue I believe killing his uncle was the more realistic choice , because it was last wish of his uncle and there wasn’t any solid reason for Jin to disrespect/disregard the wishes of his uncle as he did not have anything to gain from it .
@@utkarshbtw I feel like killing Shimura kinda proves him right. Throughout the game he keeps condemning Jin for having no honour. He's better than that and I think sparing him shows that you can have non-conventional battle tactics while remaining honourable
I hope they have an option to have something historically accurate, like armor or combat. Hand to hand combat, pole arm, horseback Archery and of course the sword.
By technicality, it should take place on mainland Japan because the second mongol invasion of Japan took place mainly on the mainland instead of the surrounding islands.
They just need more variety with secrets and side activities like iki island, which broke things up alot and added many new things. Also expand upon the beloved legends mode and add more story missions co op.
YES. If I had anything resembling a complaint about the first game is that there is only a handful of types of side activities to be done besides just killing.
according to the wiki, in the actual history, the shogun Prince Koreyasu was the ruler of Japan around the time GOT took place, after the second Mongol invasion(1281), 8 years later(1289), Hōjō clan lead the revolt against shogun and causing prince to flee to kyoto, afterward, Hōjō clan elected a new shogun, I figured maybe that could come to play in GOT 2. If Sucker Punch wants to follow the timeline, we might be looking at older Jin Sakai, the revolt happened 15 years after the first Mongol invasion.
@@MowMowMowDiittyMowa far easier plot is that Jin Sakai would move to mainland Japan.."retiring" from his life as the ghost...when GoT2 starts - with Jin becoming a sort of mentor to your character... If the game happened 15 years after the 1st game, Jin would be in his late 30 / late 40...for all intents and purposes an elder in Medieval Japan (and most of the world)..
historically speaking there were two invasions of japan by the mongols with one taking place in 1274 and one taking place in 1281, the game took place in 1274 and with the 1281 invasion (which also invaded tsushima and iki island) two mongolian generals disobeyed orders and landed on mainland japan only to be repulsed before a typhoon which the japanese called holy wind(kamikaze) destroyed the invasion force. The next shogun would be implemented 8 years later after a revolt led by a samurai clan called the Hojo clan, but the shogunate was the same. With the next shogunate being implemented in 1333 for a whole host of other reasons. While its possible that suckerpunch will use non-historical events I think it’s more likely that the second game will either take place during this second invasion where we’ll play on tsushima, iki island, and some of the larger southern islands which count as the mainland. We’ll see the invasion and the kamikaze and then maybe at the end of the game Jin will start or play into the revolt and replace the shogun with one who he may have allied with during the war. the hojo were allied with the adachi from the game before the adachi supposedly plotted to usurp them (which may have also been falsified by a different clan due to a political rivalry). The hojo then led said revolt and deposed the shogun which could be the end of the game with jin either betraying the adachis or some other twist as the hojo would depose the shogun. the other possibility is we play sixty years later during the 1330s when the shogunate was destroyed and the country split in two with two emperors in the north and south both claiming legitimacy. the ghost of tsushima would be an urban legend and maybe we would play as someone who uses the myth to become the next one or even the forerunner to the ninja. I’m not going to name all of the possible events as that would make this super long comment even longer but we would play through the downfall of the kamakura shogunate, the kenmu restoration, and the start of the ashikaga shogunate. In the unlikely event that anyone managed to read through the entire comment thank you and I hope you are as interested in history as i am
I think it would be awesome if it starts of as Jin starting the first ninja clan and fighting against the shogun. It's clear that they meant for him to be a ninja by the end of the game. He uses throwing weapons, posion, and poison darts, sneaks, and silent kills, assassinations. Him leading the Sakai ninja clan against the shogun would be so cool. Ninja vs samurai seems like the only way to go.
I love this game because of the back stories and joins love of his people and his island, when masako was telling Jin how her family was massacred I sobbed my heart out, voice acting of daiske and Japanese voice over were excellent, should have been game of the year.
I feel like an interesting take for Ghost of Tsushima 2 could be to actually play a samurai sent from the Shogun to track and hunt the ghost. Maybe they could also make it so that when you get to half the game, you meet him and learn a bit more his side of the story which then leave you with the choice of either side with him to fight against the shogun ish or you choose to continue your hunt to kill him. I think the end could be something tragic which in any case is the death of the ghost either in an epic battle against you or in an epic battle against the Shogun. Maybe you can put a little cheesy cinematic at the end that makes the ghost the Batman of that era saying that even in his death, the legend is so strong surrounding him that soldiers are still scared of the shadows fearing the ghost would be risen from the dead and strike again. You finish the game there letting the player wonder whether he’s truly dead again or not. Maybe you make it so that the clan he formed are still roaming around avenging him or that he had a son with someone and now the son seeks revenge.
I feel something like this would fit a number 3. What you described can fit the rebellion against the Kamakura shogunate about 50 years after the first invasion. Faith in the shogunate had fallen because of how the shogunate handled the invasions and other things. Many samurai clans were planning on betraying the shogun because of it. Jin would be either 70 by then and be in his twilight years.
I agree, but to balance it it shouldn't be a passive ability, but an active ability you have to deliberately use. And please give as functional horse armor, I can't take another horse situation after the first game and RDR2.
@@F17ACorrect. Swords and katanas cannot be dual-wielded because they are the same size and weight, which makes them impractical for dual-wielding's biggest advantage: defending and attacking at the same time. However, swords and daggers can be used together and historically daggers were used to defend while attacking with the sword. Not only that, but some Japanese warriors (the most famous of them being Miyamoto Musashi with his style, the Niten Ichi-Ryu) used a Wakizashi (a small Katana, much like the one Jin uses in stealth assassinations but bigger) to defend while attacking with the Katana. This is also probably what the guy above us meant by "dual-wielding katanas", since a lot of people confuse the Wakizashi with a Katana.
I think at the beginning of the second game you should be able to decide weather or not you killed lord shimura at the end of the first changing curtain dialogue and missions. Essentially two games in one
One theory I have is we start off as a young warrior or peasant in a small town when a second invasion begins. Jin Sakai could become our mentor and help us teach us to carry on the ghosts legacy.
this would be good for a third game, but right now us as players haven't gotten enough of jin sakai and his development as a character to be switching off of him so soon, theres so much more emotions and growth for us to witness before then
A sequel where Jin creates the first Shinobi Clan by proving to the Shogun how useful being a sneaky sneak can be, if you think about it they never once used the word Shinobi as it wasn’t a thing yet, So making Jin the creator of the shinobi way all thought historically incorrect would be cool af

@@Miilkyshookyarts The game is not perfect. It looks incredible, sure. But as you progress in the game, the number of side activities are very limited and they do not give the character agency. Petting a fox was cool the first ten times I did it, but it gets boring. Also, you only get to really make one decision at the end of the game that actually affects the story. In contrast, a game like Witcher 3, literally every quest you go on has multiple ways it can go and multiple outcomes, many of which affect character progression and the overall story. I loved the game, but it's not perfect. Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 are very similar: excellent games with incredible open worlds, but the story really only goes one way.

Even if you spared his life, they're probably gonna say he either bled out to death or passed away from his injuries. Either way, uncle isn't coming back for cannon continuity. It’ll be cool if Jin learned some kind of ninjutsu because he’s been ousted as a traitor by the shogun and he learns how to fight like a shinobi/samuari.
I think the next game will be about Tomoe in mainland Japan. The way her arc ended felt too much like foreshadowing. Additionally, sucker punch loosely followed history for the first game, there is historic precedence of a warrior geisha (onna-musha) named Tomoe in mainland Japan.
i feel like Jin was slightly based off of Miyamoto Musashi and it would be cool if in the second one his home is inside a cave yet i hope he has a relationship with yuna and towards the end they have a child so in the third one you begin to train their son and i do not want the story rushed at all where one game the kid is 7 and the next hes 18 because thats a story that contains so much growth and time. I can’t wait for a Ghost Of Tsushima 2 and I hope we do get it someday. As of now I’m extremely excited for PS5s Rise Of The Ronin and I also can’t wait for the Silent Hill 2 Remake (yes you read that right). ❤️🔥
I loved this game so much! I think they'll announce the port early this year that people will be able to play until a GoT2 release in mid/late 2025. I'm so excited for what a sequel has to offer!!!
I think that they will keep the ending from ghost 1 ambiguous and just imply that you chose the honourable ending, even if there is just a subtle change in dialogue saying either you did it or that Shimura performed seppuku writing him out of the sequel. I can also see it being a lot more stealth based not only because you are the ghost on the run but I think the story will be based around helping the Samurai from the shadows resulting in the Shogun accepting your help but not publicly acknowledging it and maybe a return to Tsushima in the post game to help re liberate it from either the mongols or another invading force that has moved from the main land where the main story is set
What would be dope would be the playable character of an offspring of Ryuzo and the entire game is about seeking revenge of killing the ghost, the biggest threat of a true samarai.
this is one of my favourite games oat. I played it on PS4, then got a PS5 to play it again slightly shinier. Keen af for GoT2 but also AC: Red next year. I can see them just pushing GoT2 into 2025 to not overlap as they're very similar games and Sucker Punch /Sony likes to polish a lot.
Assassins Creed Red is Ghost's biggest competitor then; that game is set to be in japan with with both a stealth build character, and a offense-built samurai. im thinking Sony might wait on AC Red to have its time in order to avoid competition.
What about wall run jumping in trees parkour and use your grappling hook tree to tree he became a ninja after all imagine this, he learns the way of the ninja a descendent from Hanzo and will be cool to have two handed dagger and sword or even two swords in other weapons, you can carry or even hand-to-hand combat, or even use, judo, karate martial arts and the multiplayer. If they’re going to add it, please make a 20 players online free room open world had to go all out using fantasies DLC’s or even a game like at nine till fox
New to PlayStation and have a PS5 , this is by far the most Beautiful and fantastic game to play! If Ghost 2 does come out I will be one of the first to buy it!!
Bro I really hope that 2 has us bring back clan Sakai… through they friends Jin made in Tsushima and their home based on… wait for it… IKI ISLAND. After that DLC I can definitely see it
If it's "pretty much ready" that's sooner than I'd like. I'd prefer them to put as much time as possible into the areas that we're lacking in the first game. Side quests, NPC animations, stealth and crafting a worthy story to succeed the first. I'd be happy with early 2026.
Most developers are lowkey waiting for the Elden Ring DLC announcement before announcing their games. It's just that important. I bet that we're gonna get a bunch of exciting game trailers as soon as FromSoftware makes their move

What is the official ending?
What would be dope would be the playable character of an offspring of Ryuzo and the entire game is about seeking revenge of killing the ghost, the biggest threat of a true samarai.
I absolutely agree with you, I can't wait.
I definitely am looking forward to the sequel for this game! And I would love to see Jin wielding duel katana swords this time around!!
They need to get their shit together and get back to making a sequel to Days Gone
Sucker punch needs to make infamous with Cole again
My favorite game I'm glad that their is a part 2 can't wait
Same
Just to say this when you spare Lord Shimura, he die of the wound inflicted by Jin in the fight. So either way he die with honnor or not.
this is one of my favourite games oat. I played it on PS4, then got a PS5 to play it again slightly shinier. Keen af for GoT2 but also AC: Red next year. I can see them just pushing GoT2 into 2025 to not overlap as they're very similar games and Sucker Punch /Sony likes to polish a lot.
Ghost 1 was so insane! can't wait for the next one
thats a great point i didnt think of that
There’s also Rise of the Ronin too that looks similar so they probably won’t want to clash with that either.
Assassins Creed Red is Ghost's biggest competitor then; that game is set to be in japan with with both a stealth build character, and a offense-built samurai. im thinking Sony might wait on AC Red to have its time in order to avoid competition.
Ghost of Tsushima 2 Main villain will be The Shogun
Kathan said ‘’another one will come’’ so either a second invasion or Jin is gonna go after the source : the ‘’main base’’ of the mongoles
I really want another Online (Legends) mode for the next game. It needs to happen
I just hope this time the horses wont limp from the left rear leg. Did my head in during the whole gameplay.
Ok, I'll play Ghost again
Imagine if the game turned into a movie🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🗿
It is! The director of John Wick is making it
Web series would be better. 7-8 episodes. High budget by HBO
It would suck
What about wall run jumping in trees parkour and use your grappling hook tree to tree he became a ninja after all imagine this, he learns the way of the ninja a descendent from Hanzo and will be cool to have two handed dagger and sword or even two swords in other weapons, you can carry or even hand-to-hand combat, or even use, judo, karate martial arts and the multiplayer. If they’re going to add it, please make a 20 players online free room open world had to go all out using fantasies DLC’s or even a game like at nine till fox
omg dude that would be amazing!!
Is this for PlayStation only??
Yes
Stances are fine I want hand to hand combat added With Judo and karate being from Japan
I was so excited about the insomniac marvels games that I forgot about ghost of Tsushima 2 bro the first one is such a master piece
New to PlayStation and have a PS5 , this is by far the most Beautiful and fantastic game to play! If Ghost 2 does come out I will be one of the first to buy it!!
Same! I will definitely own it day one
I platinumed ghosts of tushima
i don't even ride the horse i keep walking around because this is how gorgeous the map is
Same
I love the PC port. It's beautiful. Interesting story and mechanics.
Bro I really hope that 2 has us bring back clan Sakai… through they friends Jin made in Tsushima and their home based on… wait for it… IKI ISLAND. After that DLC I can definitely see it
Time to go back and finish all the side quests and Iki Island before the new one drops !
I hope so much they finally release a PC version. But I'm also scared that a second game might not be as good as the first one.
I played it on ps5. If there was a pc port i would buy it in an instant
Make it playable with friends. We need full multiplayer option!
Hopeful this year
Next year probably
I am begging SP for a pc port of this game! I adore this game and I want to replay it on my PC
If only it would make it to pc :’)
I had a great time playing the first one, and pretty sure the second one Gon be amazing too.
They have a lot of stuff in the pipeline. And did a lot of people really kill the uncle?
If it comes out im 100% buying it
Wes this better be on the level cause if now pow to the moon happy new year Wes
HAPPY NEW YEAR HOMIE
It’s really a badass game hopefully we get it sooner
I hope there will be spears in the sequel
If it's "pretty much ready" that's sooner than I'd like. I'd prefer them to put as much time as possible into the areas that we're lacking in the first game. Side quests, NPC animations, stealth and crafting a worthy story to succeed the first. I'd be happy with early 2026.
26 ? cmon now .......
The game has been in development for 5 years. Thats a long time.
great can we finally get the pc port for the first game its been years whats taking them so long
I greatly enjoyed this game. Can’t wait for part 2
Ghost of japan would go so hard
This one and The Last Of Us will probably never be topped by any other game. At least in the next decade.
I agree with the statement that it’s the best PS4 game. In fact I feel it’s the best game of all time
Most developers are lowkey waiting for the Elden Ring DLC announcement before announcing their games. It's just that important. I bet that we're gonna get a bunch of exciting game trailers as soon as FromSoftware makes their move
I have only ever labelled a couple of games perfect.Bloodborn, DS3, Arkham City and this masterpiece. Elden Ring is excellent but lacks something.
