In the Eurythmics 1980s era, Annie always performed dressed as an androgynous “man” as a statement against how women were treated in the music industry. Later in the 1990s, she did some solo albums with a series of FANTASTIC music videos where - in every video - she appears as a completely different “character”… including a couple of Marilyn Monroe-style “blonde bombshells”… and, one dressed like Minnie Mouse!😸 (There’s also one where she’s wearing part of a horse costume.)
