Designs are completed, Contractor is appointed through Airports Authority of India’s procurement/bidding process.
The Construction contractor is at site and Construction work at Dehradun airport is in full swing.
Basement and superstructure involving structural steel is in final completion stages.
This airport construction has to deal with challenges like construction work needs to be carried out keeping the airport operational, challenging topography of the site and work to be carried out in two phases, apart from many day to day challenges

Will DED able to handle A380 Boeing 777 747 IL Antanov Hercules in near future ??
Dear Sadhana Panwar, Thank you for your interesting question. Air side designs are not in the scope of Dorsch Gruppe. Also we understand that right now except apron construction, there is no immediate up-gradation being planned on air side by AAI. But we hope that air side up gradation will also be taken up.
