    This is the second video I seen, still I don't understand this for now,but I have seen the one which you clump tool went broken, but I most impressive impressive point with you is you very honest, no rush, no panic and no hiding any issues which happen under your normal days routine work, your videos makes me very comfortable and takes away any fear which I might have in my mind.

    09:21 nice to hear that the low voltage stuff from Schneider is good. The times I had to work with MV protection relais, the general consens was that they were, especially from a usability standpoint, bad

    connecting anything online to your circuit breaker is a bad freaking idea. soon you probobably need internet connection and a subscription for them to work

    Bluetooth could be handy for reseting post fault, never quite know for sure if the fault is _really_ gone so be good to be able to push the nuke button from a distance

    Have these at work but an older version. Every time we load test the Genny these pull in and out and it’s like a bomb going off. And because they are time delayed they always catch you off guard 😂

    Hello Mike.
    Very cool and interesting videos you have.
    I had Fault finding job just like that Schneider Electric ACB.
    New Two 9 storey apartment building ACB kept tripping over and over again.
    Finally Schneider Electric technician came and connected laptop with USB cable and fixed it.
    Also added on top missing jumper block.

    Presumably you can fire the breaker over bluetooth standing at the door of the switchroom in your civvies, rather than to the side of the unit in full arc flash gear?

    • @residualcurrent
      @residualcurrent  4 месяца назад +2

      That’s it! Especially if it’s showing contact wear/end of its service life and needs to be isolated.

    The Bluetooth switching activation is for safety. You can stand at a distance and switch it.

    Pretty impressive and it's fairly easy pairing process. In some ways I wish my Bluetooth headphones were that simple. They really seem to be doing some nice stuff right now. And it's one of the only companies I've called in the last decade that actually has a human on the phone.
    Who transferred me to technical department who got back to me with a lot of information.
    For a residential breaker at that. Was having some nuisance tripping with high load this customer really should've had the whole system replaced but cheap scape pinch those pennies spend those dollars. Combination of overloading too many overloads and the previous breaker going bad. 200 amp it was a fun replacement sort of in the dark of course in the workshop guest house office.

    Why would you have different draws on each phase dont they all combine

    • @residualcurrent
      @residualcurrent  4 месяца назад +2

      The phases are distributed about the building across several floors, the final circuits haven’t been balanced across phases well, resulting in different draws, pretty common to be honest 👍🏼
