Every Friday from the late 50's from around when I became a Teenager in October of 58 up to around the early 70'S they would have the Friday Money Movie 7 Movie. The Narrator Johnny Bachalter ( R.I.P. ) would tell the amount of the money in the jackpot and call someone who sent their Number in. The winner would recieve the amount in the jackpot and a free dinner at a nice Restaurant in Downtown D. C.
