I know it’s standard in the UK having the rear brake on the left, but that would be so confusing to me to have the front Mech and rear brake on the same side. Front mech and front brake on left, rear Mech and rear brake on right, is how we do it in the US.
Great tutorial, my main issue with wheelies is I always tend to start tipping to one side, which make me put the front end down. I need to learn to use my back brake more too I think.
If you're learning to wheelie, first start using the back break rather than bailing because I've ripped most my joggers by bailing. Starting out trying to wheelie, I pulled up sitting down because when I pulled up standing up it was hard to sit back down. One thing that fixes all that is raising the seat to the point you can barely put your feet flat on the ground.
at higher speed left to right becomes easier. as long as the wheels are spinning fast they keep you straight. at slow speed its harder. I can wheelie forever, but when the front wheel stops spinning I have to try harder to keep balance.
Now do a whole series on how to do trials stuff.
Who is this braiden beauty? 😮❤

And on motorbikes?
@@c.s.4273 what about motorbikes? They don’t have front and rear Mech. They have clutch on the left and brakes on the right.
@@Patrick94GSR You see. Why make it any different on bicycles? Right is front brake. Period.
Nice and easy. Been trying to do this for close to 30 years. :D
Hahah. Same! Gradually getting better. Maybe by the the time I'm 60... I'm terrible at modulating the rear brake when I'm on one wheel.

Try wheelie on a fatbike, wider tires give you more control. 😊

Nobody ever teaches left to right balance tho
That is my issue too. 😂

Can someone please tell me what frame size bike Danny has???
Pretty sure it's a medium, which would be slightly on the small side for his height.
