Great video, love the game every month! Also, I appreciate your comment about the kids playing outside. I really get upset when people get mad about kids having fun and being just kids. ❤
Thank you so much, Cheryl! ❤️ Yes, I've noticed that a lot of people get frustrated with the noice of happy children because it inconveniences them slightly. But every time I hear it, it just makes me smile. It's simply beautiful noice :)
@@libraryunbounded I agree. At least the kids are having a good time. They grow up way too fast and have to mature so why not let them just be kids for as long as they can?
I too love hearing kids laughing because it reminds me that being a kid is short as my 8 year old pointed out to me yesterday. My answer to him was, yes, but when you're an adult you can still act like a kid sometimes. He'll be 9 in October and his older brother will be 13 in November. They grow up fast, so it's always good to hear happy kids just having fun.
When you drew Ulysses from the jar, i thought "Thank goodness, you have Boromir." And then you ended up picking that one out of the two. Good luck with that one! I read Piranesi earlier this month and it was so good. I read it in a single day. I have no words to describe the experience, in a good way
Your TBR game is The Lord of the TBR Games. It is the most creative and entertaining TBR game I've come across. And you spent so much time and effort into it and share it for free... thank you. I'm not one for TBR games, but this one I cannot resist :) You've an interesting, eclectic month of reading ahead of you!
Thank you, Teresa! ❤️ (I just saw your messages in Discord and will listen to them today, sorry it took me so long, I will be way more available from now on, I hope)
Love watching this game and your content, you are so fun 🤩💖. Thank you so much for making your game available for everyone to play, your digital versions are fantastic and it’s amazing how you make them 💙🦋🩵.

Wow! I had just printed the first version of this game so I didn’t have it in me to print the second one. And now I see you made it digital??? What a blessing. Thank you! Good luck this month. 🥳
A digital version of your TBR game! 😱😍😍 After the video I went right over and played it and I LOVED it!! It's so well-done, so cute, so much fun to play! I can't imagine how much time and effort you must have put into this! It's so generous of you to provide it to us free of charge! Thank you!! 🥰😘
Ah, thank you for the kind words! I did put quite a few hours in it but it was mostly fun. I am happy to know that someone enjoyed it! It's all I want ❤️
Hi Silvia, you are briliant with the game! 🧚♀I especially adore you for leaving the comments bubbles with the characters in the digital version - that was so much fun and lovely 💘 Though I feel a little bit bad as I also got Boromir but only 4 books 😀 not that I'm complaining because I have only half the month for reading in September ☺Perhaps as a redemption for your TBR you can be my Saruman and choose a book for me to read if you would want to? And as Saruman should be pretty challenging, I'm leaving it completely on you 😉 (of course, only if you want to) Thank you so much for the game, and enjoy September 🧡🧡🧡
Oh, this is so so sweet, Misa! ❤️ I am so happy you played the game and that you trust me to pick a book for you! ✨ I don't remember if you've read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch? Yeay, I'm so happy that the digital version is available now. I just tried it and noticed, that I couldn't pick Pippin as a companion, so I couldn't choose his picture. I don't know if it only happened to me. But I LOVE watching your TBR videos so much. I'm looking forward to them every mornth😍😊
Yes, Pippin's is the only version not ready yet (there is a comment about it under the link in the video description). It will take some time to iron the logic behind his skill mechanic and I thought it's better to share the game now than wait until I have the time to do it :) And thank you so much, Lisa! ❤️
You have a very ambitious TBR 😬 BUT! You have some great books to read. I loved reading Convenience Store Woman and it’s a keeper for me. Piranesi will generate so many thoughts, ideas, and opinions. I have Richard Swan waiting for me on my kindle…maybe this is the push to dive in. Hope you have an amazing month of reading, travel, and life.
It is indeed time to pick the book - this is the universe speaking (or maybe not, I don't think I'm good enough to speak for the universe. But you should still read it :))
@@libraryunbounded 😂 thanks for serving as proxy from the Universe of Books. I’ll probably surrender to the behest since it actually gives me the fall vibes I think I want in my reading. Who knows we both might have success!
I’m definitely looking forward to your thoughts on Ulysses. I had a professor in grad school who was always threatening to add it to our required reading when he was feeling feisty.
Omg a book dice tower?! That’s so cool! I love it Good luck with From Blood and Ash, I haven’t read it yet but it’ll be an interesting one for you haha. Hopefully the board will be kinder to you next month… 🤞
Justice of Kings is great and so is book 2. Not sure if you read McCammon’s Speaks the Nightbird but the tone of Kings is very similar. I also have Piranesi downloaded on Audible, waiting for me. This tbr game is super entertaining!
Wow I thought developing the game was impressive, then you doubled, tripled, the anti with a digital version. Amazing! Will def be playing along next month. Piranesi is on my TBR, interested to hear what you think (assuming you get and read it). Good luck with the TBR this month.
Silvia, you are courageous. I'm one of the many who have attempted Ulysses. I even did so with a group and I tapped out early. The way it's written, my brain is too small and smooth for such books. Also, I can't believe the digital version of the game. The work you put in! I hope you enjoy your trips and should you want a buddy for the Justice of Kings read, let me know! I've been really wanting to read that series. P.S. I love the Odd Thomas series. I think it's very fun (I even like the movie.)
Ah, don't talk about yourself in this way, Jonathan. We tend to dismiss the merits of our intellect when faces with something unfamiliar and difficult. But classics are rarely easy to get through and not being able to persevere through the experience of reading one doesn't make your brain inferior. We all struggle with them. In this case, it probably just wasn't interesting enough for you, to be worth the effort of continuing to struggle. Well, I already have two buddy reads for which I am a no show, so starting another one would be hilarious. :))) But why don't you read the book this month and we can compare thoughts afterwards?
Ah, same... I've had the book for years and if it wasn't for the jar, I probably would've never picked it. Actually, I haven't started it yet, so who knows... :))
So happy to read that! Ah, the eyebrow sound is a special skill handed down to me by my ancestors. Didn't leave me much else but that's one thing I can remember them by 😂
I love your way to pick book specially when some just sit on the shelf so long and when you do read them I end up loving them, I love your game how did you create it ?
Thank you so much for the kind words! It's a long (and boring) story but I am actually filming a video on how I made the game (as quite a few people have been asking). So I hope you'll be able to see it soon :)
@@libraryunbounded I download all the cards but just printing them of would be cool to have a play and mix it up a bit about what to read and open up to something new and different thank, I can't wait to see the making of your game
I read Ulysses a while back and I would recommend using a reader's guide after each episode. It is filled with cultural, historical, classical references as well as commentary on the issues of the day but it is also very experimental in the way it's written and can be difficult to access at first. I wish I had done that when I read it as it went over my head a bit. I would compare it to Moby Dick or Gravity's Rainbow for the difficulty and the scope.
This is quite a TBR, I'm looking forward to see how it turns out I honestly don't think you'll like Caraval, overall it's not awful, the atmosphere is interesting and if you don't take it seriously you might have a good time, but that's it. I also think the trilogy isn't worth it.
Only like 2 minutes in and, what??? That digital version of the game looks so cool😭😭😭😭 Edit: Just so you're aware, I'm pretty sure Caraval is YA, not Adult.
Hey, I was playing your TBR game this month, but I got confused. What am I supposed to do with Legolas? Does it mean I can choose any prompt after reading them?
Thank you so much, Whitney! ❤️ Indeed, it was a bit mean but such is life. The way I see it, I won't read everything, but I have a bigger pool of books to chose from. And that's quite nice :))
