Yes, replying to myself because, having checked out a few other versions on y.t., I find they all sound this way orchestrally at that moment. Having grown up w. the original cast recording, I'm sure I remembered it differently, but will just have to listen again to that one, which doesn't seem to be available here.
Agreed. Either missing or so weak it's inaudible. Too bad, given the high quality generally. I also really miss the big orchestra blast after "Good God! What in the hell are they waiting for?!" at 1:09. Still, looks like a generally good production, from this & "He Plays the Violin."
