Nothing but respect. A guy grinding himself back to the 'top' after being pushed to the bottom shows hardwork and dedication. If only more people had this type of mentality.
For real, now that's what you called a real man. Like some type of warrior shit. Getting attacked and have your land stolen from you. After years of training, he set out on a mission for revenge. He then succeeded with hard work and determination retaking his land and eventually restoring his honor. Respect!
Pat Riley once said that if his life is on the line, he'd pick Larry Bird to take the clutch shot. Definitely a great choice, but no one is perfect. During the Celtics' best season ever on 04/06/86, Bird (that year's eventual MVP) was intentionally fouled to stop the clock. He then proceeded to miss two free throws in a row, which led to Dr. J sinking in a 3pt game-winner for the Sixers. Bad streaks can happen to anyone at anytime. Imagine the social media reaction if Kenny beat Steph Curry on TNT.
Anthony’s shooting talent is undeniable, but I have a different take on this. He has experience taking threes, but not taking threes in front of 4 NBA legends in a studio. The lights were too bright, and that’s not his fault. He’s never been in that situation so of course he doesn’t have the experience necessary to perform. But Kenny the Jet Smith? He’s been won two finals. He’s playing in the studio he’s called home for years. Of course he won the shootout. This is the same reason why analysts always tend to favor veterans when picking playoff matchups. Over 82 games, young talent will win you games, but if you’ve never experienced playoff basketball, it’s not reasonable to expect the success to hold up the same
Idiot, they were in a studio. The roof was too low to take a normal shot. Kenny has probably shot 1000's of shots in the studio and knows what arc to put on it to still make it. PLAYOFFS? WERE TALKING ABOUT PLAYOFFS? LOL
Kenny also shoots 3s in that studio on that basket every day. I'm pretty sure it is not at all like a regular court or basket. Also I think the ceiling is pretty low, so you can't shoot with the same arc you usually would. Most of all, Barkley and Smith are disrespectful scumbags. Used to like both of them as players, but the more I watched their analysis, the more I couldn't stand them. Haven't watched their show in many years.
Redeem what? He already holds the world records and has proven it time and time again. He doesn't need to sink 3 shots in front of them to prove anything.
It's not about it being harsh trash talk, it's the fact that they had no respect or decency just because he wasn't a player, I wouldn't bat an eye if Kenny was playing Shaq 1v1 and saying those things, but it wasn't his friend he was giving banter it was a complete stranger and it just showed that he had no class.

The hate this guy got from his Inside the NBA appearance was so stupid. Anybody that knows anything about basketball, and also an above room temperature IQ knows what went wrong. He's not an actual hooper. He's a shooter. He perfected his shot in very specific conditions. He's not able to adjust his shot to weird conditions like a former NBA player would be able to. The studio has low hanging lights that prevents him from getting the arc he needs to hit his shots.
I don’t even know much about the guy but just from the clips used in this video we know that’s not entirely true. He played in many different lighting conditions, shot from everywhere outside the arc, shot from high school 3 line, nba 3 line, and even on damn arcade hoops😂 I think you had the right idea at first tho: he’s not a hooper. Having famous personalities heckling you on live TV has gotta fck with you mentally if not prepared.
Actually ima take back what I said a bit cuz I rewatched the clips 😂😂😂 yea his arc had to be much flatter than ANY of the clips he shot in. I still think we see enough variety to show he has adjusted his shot for pretty much any distance, but his arc is consistently super high so yea, pretty diff for him. I still think it mostly comes down to the pressure of NBA stars heckling him that faked with his nerves though.

Pat Riley once said that if his life is on the line, he'd pick Larry Bird to take the clutch shot. Definitely a great choice, but no one is perfect.
I'm not surprised the best shooters aren't in the NBA, just like the best dunkers aren't. The best players are.
if you can't do it when defense is being played (he can't), you're not the best shooter. same goes for dunks
NBA players have said and even Kenny mentioned it. There are players out there that are better shooters and skilled dribblers, the difference is can you do the sacrifice and the grind day in & day out. Starting from being in the gym, working out, and practicing everyday (or almost). Being in condition, fit, and healthy. Watching film, studying, then training. Not just trash talked. It's the environment that made it difficult to shoot. Anybody, except for Kenny, wouldn't have been able to shoot it.
I feel like a lot of this whole drama and reputation loss could have been solved with a clarifying name for his skill: either arcade-shooting or wide-open-shooting.
The basketball leagues should have the privilege of calling in-game shooting just "shooting", as this is where the skill comes from. Taking it outside that environment, it becomes something different

@@334ben10 He isn't in the league because he is short, unathletic, and takes a long time to get his shot off. But the dude can shoot the sh*t out of it. That can't be denied.
@Storm23PS3 yeah but it's all circumstantial 😂
I think there's two angles to this story. First is the angle you just told. No defense, with time to adjust every shot this guy is good, he practices and wins competitions and that's admirable.
The second angle is the angle Jimmy and TNT guys tried to talk about. He can't do shit against any remotely decent defense. What they were trying to say is that Curry for example can hit so many threes against the best of defenses, being trash-talked, chased, while being tired. What NBA and professional players in general can do is whole different Universe comparing to what this guy does. That's not to shit on him, that's just the way it is.
Look, I've been playing basketball my whole life. I can say without a shadow of a doubt theres tens of millions players in the world better than me, still, with this shooting technique, without any arrogance I'd put 100,000$ this guy can't score twice over me in a game to 21. That's the point when you get yourself the title "best shooter in the world".
putting someone to defend against you in a 3pt shootout is just plain dumb.. nobody said this dude would win against nba players its a 3pt shootout for god sake.. just proves how egotistical people are getting butthurt when someone being better at what they do.. i would bet this dude would destroy curry in a 3pt shootout..
he isn't claiming to be better at basketball than nba players though so it was stupid to begin with
@@thesecretwombat056 he's claiming the title "the best shooter in the world"...
this is a very good content, Henry. we need more like this
Kudos to you Henry Hoops. Thanks for this vid. This type of vids are so refreshing because it uplifts others.
This guy is a glorified pop a shot player- period.
Straight up. Shooting a ball is an arcade game to him
So what? He makes a living being a "glorified pop a shot player". Dude makes bank
@@troliskimosko that matters to broke people. Be well!
@@tyrismaxeyI think earning a living matters to everyone. Playing pop a shot is a pretty good deal.
@president234 then play pop a shot, I don't want to hold you from your dreams.
I don’t feel like they did him dirty. He was the self proclaimed best shooter and they gave him a lesson. He’s the best shooter out of the scrubs that never made it.
Its different when the pressure is on.
The rematch would be EPIC. Same rules: First to 3 wins. A short, but high intensity rematch. Miracola vs. The Jet. Make it happen, ITN.
REMATCH, great video dude!
I would respect him if he actually took it on the nose and just admited that Kenny beat him but he is truly the worlds greatest excuse maker
JxmyHighroller didn't "eXpOsE hIm." It was basically a nonsense video about a guy that missed 3 shots.
He missed bad several times and wasn’t confident either
He did, he claimed he's the best shooter and then on television a 20 year retired player in a suit washed him in a studio. His redemption? Winning a shooting competition sponsored by a sports betting company.
@@vibangigan5336 He missed 3 shots. Someone needs to learn and understand the definition of "sample size."
@@Hotobu Dude shaq has made the shot in the studio. Just shush he made this video because the sponsor of the competition is his sponsor you dingus.
@@vibangigan5336 The TNT crew set him up for failure. They gave him no warm up on a sub-optimal court. Kenny practices every day on that court. Of course he's not going to need a warm up like Anthony Miracola
having this mofo in the pickup game is a huge liability...the ego and getting shots block left and right, he ain't fooling any real ballers, move on...
Happy Gilmore the basketball version
Awesome redemption arc. I'm really happy for him.
Same
he didn't get setup at all. he crumbled under the pressure while he was on set, that's really all it is. Good for him that he managed to win those other events but he still choked against kenny. It was a completely fair shootout, there was no setting up at all. He lost that one fair and square.
Ben Simmons is drilling shirtless threes in practice as we speak. What is your point?
As Chuck said. Stop making excuses.
Exactly lmao , let’s see that against comp , a lot of ppl can shoot with no defense. And they tryna label him the best shooter in the world . 😂
LOL…he’s got the records to prove it. Much better shooter than you two 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Ben Simmons ain't sinking 30 in 60 seconds though 😂
This dude was so salty during Gil's show. 😂
Who wouldn't be after what happened to him.
@@paulievespucci6867 grown men
@@paulievespucci6867 anything that happened he did to himself with his whiny attitude.. just go up there and have fun on TNT with NBA legends. He took it too seriously, got embarrassed, made excuses, and then wants apologies from the crew for what he did to himself?
Awesome vid. Props to Miracola, great story, seems like a good dude too.
Never agree to do something like this: the hoop is in a studio, the lighting is different, the surroundings are different, depth perception is different. This guy is familiar with the everything about a gymnasium. Never go to an element that you’re not familiar or comfortable with. Always perform on your field.
You hype him up as the best pure shooter in the world etc. and that's all fair enough. But he beat a college shooter and won a shooting contest and you preach about "persistence and overcoming hardships". You're building him up like this is some massive underdog inspirational story but let's be honest if all you do is get world records for shooting, you're probably going in to a shooting competition as the favourite and losing from there is a failure. Good for Miracola and all the best to him, but man you overdid it in this video
This dude needs to participate in the 3-point contest at the upcoming all star game.
I'm sorry, but Chuck leering at him after he airballs his first shot will never not be funny
The look of digust priceless
Thanks for making this video man.
This is why I watch basketball. Like, the plays, strategy, and execution are essential, but I also like to watch players fight through the downs. The trash talk, the disrespect and short memories. Watching an unexpected player have the game of their career to help put away a big team, etc.. Like a microcosm of the media circus and life in general. Fight through it all!
How was he exposed when they were shooting in a studio with a lower ceiling? He has a programmed shot that he cannot adjust.
It’s his ignorance claiming he’s the best shooter but makes excuses when hes not hitting them.
Idk why people are happy for him
He earned that L by being so cocky while being suxh a goober goofball
@@JacaboBlancoThe dude is so petty it makes me laugh. I didn't even know who he was before he showed up on TNT and didn't care much wen he did & forgot who he was after his appearance on TNT until I saw these RUclips vids pop up of him with reminders of who he is. People that are that much in their feelings tend to do crazy things when they snap too far - I don't like em.
@@3rdworldgwaming467 "People that are that much in their feelings tend to do crazy things when they snap too far - I don't like em."
What the fuck are you even talking about?
Dude simply choked with millions of people watching under a suboptimal and hostile environment. That could happen to anyone. He didn't "snap" or whatever crap you're making up. That's some massive projection right there.
You're the kind of person who just takes the side of the authority figure, the celebrities, because it's easy and you can't think for yourself. You fall for the easy narrative hating a guy just for missing 3 throws. Then instead of admiting it, you just make up even more bullshit to convince yourself you weren't wrong.
Always this stupid phrase "He is making excuses" YEAH sometimes you have the damn right to make excuses. Low hanging lights is a very valid point!
It's not an excuse when you're not even on a real court.
Kenny was shooting in a suit lol the guy can’t complain about anything
Kenny had practiced shooting in a suit. They're just racists who wanted to set a white man up. Don't believe me? The NBA media stole an MVP from Nikola Jokic.
