Seriously, they did so well with this. A great way to jump back into the world of Fallen Kingdom! Also, just to give more context on what others have said, yeah, this is a prequel, not a continuation. Here are the details I found: (word vomit incoming, so apologies) *_First off,_* right off the bat, the intro is a rewind from Dragonhearted all the way to the beginning rather than the other way around. *_Second,_* the King's beard is the smallest we've seen it, even compared to his goatee in Fallen Kingdom, while in Dragonhearted, it's a full fledged beard. *_Third,_* the castle he visits here is Herobrine's citadel before it became the ruin that the Prince visits in Take Back the Night. *_Fourth,_* The staff he finds isn't just like the one he uses during Dragonhearted, it _is_ the one he uses in Dragonhearted. *_Fifth,_* Near the end, he comes back to the valley where the Kingdom should be, but there's nothing there other than a couple vanilla Village houses, even though they had started to rebuild at the end of Dragonhearted, which means this is before the Kingdom even existed. And finally, *_Sixth_* it ends with a shot of Herobrine (completely understand why you thought it was Steve, but by the black cape and all the other clues to it being a prequel, I'm pretty sure it's Herobrine) still alive and hunting down the staff that was stolen from him.
I don’t know if this is a joke to everyone saying “I’m sure” but it looks more like a sequel to me, I’ve only watched this and fallen kingdom and another one but this looks like it’s years after fallen kingdom, but someone correct me if I’m wrong.
@@Okus477 No, it's definitely a prequel. This is the story of how he got the staff he uses in Dragonhearted, and why Herobrine came after him in the first place: it was taken from his citadel. At the end, you see the valley where the Kingdom is meant to be _before_ the Kingdom existed. Also, I'd seriously recommend watching the rest of the series. It's a great series.
Your reaction is so wholesome, but what makes the one so amazing is it's a prequel and shows how he obtained the staff to tame the dragon, aswell as giving the backstory for why herobrine attacked his kingdom. Also I believe this is the same location his son would later kill herobrine!
Haha thank u, and yes I now only noticed that the past few days it was indeed a prequel, but also I had just woken up to see this so I had still got my bed hair while watching this 😅
Update: I've uploaded lyrics to this song feel free to check it out :)

Im fairly sure this was a prequel to the series not a continuation so this is before fallen kingdom.
Ohhhh interesting!
