I have never thought Jordan would ever bring back this special, ancient, evolve, Minecraft music back after 6 years ago. This is a true masterpiece Mr Sparklez.
This one is terrible, doesn’t compare to the other 2. The song is basic and lacks soul. It doesn’t fit with the animation either. There isn’t any connection, any emotion. What made the other 2 great is nonexistent in this one. 3/10
Ive never had such a massive smile as I did when I was a kid til now. Bringing back this series was the best thing I could've wished for! THANK YOU JORDAN AND THE TEAM!!
Yep and bringing the sculk in this adventure was a great idea in my opinion plus how he get the staff for controlling the Ender Dragon but I didn't know it could control others mobs :0
I am now 23. I watched Fallen Kingdom when I was around 12 years old and the song was a banger. Having now a Sequel of that just brings so much joy to my heart, shed a tear.
@@neofytos43 Take Back the Night, Find the Pieces, and Dragonhearted are the sequels, and in all of those the castle was still ruins. This is a prequel, and you can see at the end the castle hasn't even been built yet. Not to mention the fact the king is clearly much younger.
*THIS IS THE PREQUEL TO FALLEN KINGDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!* A lot of people thought this was after Dragonhearted so I wanted to clarify. He says in the description that this is the prequel and the king obviously looks younger. Herobrines castle isn’t collapsed in the video and Kings son destroyed it in Take Back The Night. Also as you see at the end, the kingdom is obviously a LOT younger, probably just having been built.
Yeah at first I thought this was after that. BUT then was like wait ain't that the rod from Dragonhearted. So this is the story of the King getting that item and rising to power. Which is still an amazing idea. Hopefully we get more prequels to any degree like one from Herobrine's POV.
One thing I love about the eventual King in this prequel is that he isn't shown being particularly strong or some amazingly talented warrior. Every one of the situations he gets out is due to his observation and quick thinking. I feel like that's a nice detail
@@QUBIQUBED Yes, I noticed too that the animation there looked really smooth and full of movement that makes it look awesomely natural. Some scenes in the previous animations looked a bit clunky like the Helluva Boss' fight scene but they still were incredible by the time. Personally I rarely give likes, but this animation totally earned it.
A common trait I see with minecraft animation fight scenes is they make the player we follow overpowered, defeating all their enemies with ease. This video illustrates the king having trouble fighting these tough opponents but still managing to overcome them. Beautiful animation
You can also see that he isn't actually invincible. Throughout the video, he does get hurt from it, from cradling his arm at the end of the lava room to a slight limp away from the bookshelf before the first warden does its chest attack thing. That's another thing I like about this video, is they made the warden look so much cooler than the game did.
I feel like a 7 year old kid again. First time watching and keep repeating fallen kingdom 10 years ago. I really have no words to describe all these emotions i’m feeling. Thank you to everyone that worked on yet another masterpiece!
same, the era of Minecraft parodies/songs was so insanely popular back in like 2014 and hasn't been popular since. This song is like a breath of fresh air from those times.
It's honestly so impressive how GOOD this looks. All the videos in this franchise have been extremely impressive but this one is beyond everything that came before in terms of looks.
Never did I think in the year of 2022 there'd still be a new tale for the Fallen Kingdom story and yet here we are and i am absolutely here for this 👏👏👏
@@ARandomEliatropethis is a prequel, he gets the sceptre here and uses it in dragonhearted, in the end u can see his city being built from a small village, and the map he used at the start to find that castle is the same one that herobrine died in
I can’t believe it’s been six years since the last one! This makes me so nostalgic. I was 10 when the first one came out, I just turned 20 the other week. I really hope this continues
@@anonymouss1270 Also at the end, you can see where the King lives is just a small, little lodge. Herobrine then watches him stealing his staff. That's how "Fallen Kingdom" comes to play where Herobrine wants vengeance over his staff. The king knows that this will happen, so he seals the staff in the End and deactivates the end portal to prevent him from obtaining it.
@@WantBadtime One hole in that theory - The King almost immediately deactivates the portal upon reaching it during the raid, as seen in the beginning of Find the Pieces. Additonally, the hero is seen carrying the chest with the staff into the End Portal during Dragonhearted. There is a reasonable chance that The King was solely protecting the Dragon from Herobrine's wrath, and had the staff hidden elsewhere. There is of course a time gap where the chest may have been retrieved from the end in the interim, but I'd theorize that the King would not want to take any unnecessary risks such as opening the portal Herobrine wanted so desperately through and leaving it unguarded. There's also the simple fact that he'd have no way of returning while the Dragon lived.
I love how human the king feels. I feel like a lot of characters tend to be a bit too full of themselves, as if they know everything will work out, but he always seems unsure or even scared, which just feels a lot more natural.
He’s a very competent fighter, but he knows when he’s outmatched, he does seem slightly cowardly though not in a bad way, he’s like if Shaggy was self aware of how capable he is, able to fight off an entire biker gang with ease, but still naturally cowardly
Remember, in Fallen Kingdom, he grabs his helmet and sword to fight, but knows he's going to be overwhelmed and ran. He didn't run because he didn't want to fight, it's the fact that the monsters killed everyone else, showing how powerful they were at the time
He's a logical thinker, he knows when to pick his fights and when not to. He knows what his capable of, creating an entire kingdom less one forgets, and that's not something someone can achieve without being smart. So yeah, King is an absolute chad.
The prince was a warrior, a one man army , but the king is an honest to goodness adventurer, and he’s bada$$ about it too, he’s clever, scrappy, a good fighter, and he knows when he’s outmatched
What started off as a silly Minecraft cover of Coldplay became an incredible series with an unforgettable story. When I first heard Fallen Kingdom, I never would have begun to think that 10 years later this series would still be going.
For 10 years, this king is still around, im kind of impressed he could still pull himself through the worst of it all and continue despite losing quite literally everything he had
sadly, this is the prequel of the kingdom series. I hope we do get another sequel of the dragonheart. What did the king do after his son's death, I wonder?
@@universesbiggestdouchebag8350 i mean kinda everything is gone, herobrine was 1 shot, pigmans got exploded in nether and end doesn't even have dragon anymore
I thought the choice of gorilla like movement was odd, it’s not a big nitpick but I probably would've gone with a modern zombie run, not minecraft zombie, like the walking dead zombie
My god, I never would have predicted a prequel *6 years* after Dragonhearted put a cap on the series. And such a fantastic one, at that? The entire series has been amazingly animated, but this one seemed to be a step beyond, even.

I remember when Dragonhearted first came out in 2016 and was so excited that we got other installment to the Fallen Kingdom series. That they still made it even after the golden age of nostalgic Minecraft Parodies Music Videos have long past. Now Dragonhearted feels almost as nostalgic as the ones that came before it, while this feels as unexpected as when Dragonhearted when it came out, in a good way of course. Never thought I'd see another CaptainSparklez music video in this day and age! How time flies.
i remember that excitement for dragonhearted so clearly lmao that day i had been showing my friend the three videos already released and gushing about the cliffhanger at the end of find the pieces, and how i couldnt wait for whenever the next one would get released. my friend said itd probably never come out then, later that day, it released, and i bragged about it SO hard to him LMAO
What makes this addition to the series so meaningful is that while this is a prequel, the lyrics also imply that the king is reminiscing and looking back on his life. I think it's really beautiful.
I think Warnor bros should of hired yall for the Minecraft movie cause even though this Minecraft music video series is years old it’s still way better then what the Minecraft movie looks like atm
This song is incredible. The focus is on the king's regret, but the tone and some of the lyrics imply he's also glad for the life he lived. Better to rise and fall than stay at rock bottom. Also, it's an interesting touch that while the prince is a brash swordfighty type, the king seems to be much more guilesome. I think the prince could have kept the kingdom safe if it fell in his time, but only the king could have built it.
Nice analaysis on the two characters! I think its intentional that the prince and the king have different styles of fighting and doing things because of how they've grown up. Especially that last sentence.
I love how the wardens were animated like gorillas. I also love that they added sculk to it because it portrays that even in the past the sculk / wardens were always there, you just had to find it.
The lyrics are so bittersweet. I believe the king is looking back on this moment with something close to regret. His pride may have been the downfall of the kingdom, but pride was also the same reason the kingdom prospered. He was Icarus, but instead of him, his family and his kingdom paid the price for his hubris.
I actually think this is a prequel. The events of the past 4 songs reversing, going back to show how the king got the wand that controlled the Ender Dragon and how his Kingdom began to rise, only for it to fall in the next song. The lyrics don’t match up with my theory, but it might also be the King thinking back to what happened in the video, while the lyrics represent his subconscious
@@williamjackson9355 the video is a prequel, yes, but the lyrics are most likely from the perspective of the King from after Dragonhearted, considering his talk of kingdoms having a tendency to fall seeming personal, as well as the 'a step too far' terminology.

Lastly, we see the King again morning his son and wife on the hill, and we return to the same words of warning issued from the start, realizing that it is the King of the future warning his past self of the pain to come. *THIS IS THE PREQUEL TO FALLEN KINGDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!*
A lot of people thought this was after Dragonhearted so I wanted to clarify. He says in the description that this is the prequel and the king obviously looks younger. Herobrines castle isn’t collapsed in the video and Kings son destroyed it in Take Back The Night. Also as you see at the end, the kingdom is obviously a LOT younger, probably just having been built.
I thought this was After Dragonhearthed 😂😂😂
@@Storm_2099 no lol.
Yeah at first I thought this was after that. BUT then was like wait ain't that the rod from Dragonhearted. So this is the story of the King getting that item and rising to power. Which is still an amazing idea. Hopefully we get more prequels to any degree like one from Herobrine's POV.
I don't think it has been built yet in this video. At the end you can see that he finds the valley where the Kingdom is
@@Storm_2099 The lyrics are after Dragonhearted, and the video is before Fallen Kingdom.
One thing I love about the eventual King in this prequel is that he isn't shown being particularly strong or some amazingly talented warrior. Every one of the situations he gets out is due to his observation and quick thinking. I feel like that's a nice detail
Oh yeah - I feel it’s also represented in his sword - nothing super powerful just a basic iron blade
Anyone else love the part where the king is running from the wardens as they crush the bookshelves with their beams?
@@QUBIQUBED Yes, I noticed too that the animation there looked really smooth and full of movement that makes it look awesomely natural. Some scenes in the previous animations looked a bit clunky like the Helluva Boss' fight scene but they still were incredible by the time. Personally I rarely give likes, but this animation totally earned it.
@@Μαυρόγατος Yes, you just read my thought. As for me, this video is the pinnacle of animation on this channel at the moment
I had no idea it was a prequel. It all makes so much more sense now..
A common trait I see with minecraft animation fight scenes is they make the player we follow overpowered, defeating all their enemies with ease. This video illustrates the king having trouble fighting these tough opponents but still managing to overcome them. Beautiful animation
That's something I like about this as well
but thats regular minecraft with every mob being ez claps
You can also see that he isn't actually invincible. Throughout the video, he does get hurt from it, from cradling his arm at the end of the lava room to a slight limp away from the bookshelf before the first warden does its chest attack thing. That's another thing I like about this video, is they made the warden look so much cooler than the game did.

It’s a prequel? Well I guess it would explain why the controlling stick wasn’t in his possession at the beginning
I never thought we would get a continuation from this 4 part series but here we are, 6 years later.

ikr
