clear and understandable! thanks for being so straight to the point! i came here for a tutorial not for a storytime and thats what i got. wonderful delivery.
Good day. Thank you for the video. When I was recovering from surgery as a result of a work place accident my aunt thought I needed something to do other than laying around watching TV. Her solution was to teach me how to crochet. She taught me the basics but I have found there's a lot more that I need to learn so I can make better looking stuffed animals. The invisible decrease will come in very handy. Have a good day 🤠
Thank you for posting this easy-to-follow video. I'm working on my 1st amigurumi project. Somewhere along the way I ended up with 61 stitches in the repeating rows instead of 60. I will use this technique and continue, instead of trying to find and correct my mistake.
Thank you so much! The book I bought did the "invisible decrease" like a normal decrease and it bothered me so much! So glad there's a proper way to do it!
thanks for clarifying this is good for amigurumi! i was getting ugly bumps in my work because i was doing a different decrease. going to do this from now on.
Huh, I have been doing a different stitch by mistake. I wonder what I was doing. I go into the front of the first loop, but before going to the second one, I yarn over. So when I go under the second loop I have 4 loops instead of 3, then pull it all the way through. I wonder what the name is for that.
I'm trying to use the invisible decrease, the pattern says, dec over 2 sc,(3 times),dec 3 over 3sc(twice), dec over 2sc(3 times) Not one of your patterns but just thought you could help.
Maybe u can answer a question for me cause im going insane looking for how to do it. Im reading instructions and says "5 dc in same stitch", does that mean i grab 5 stiches and do decrease passing through all the loops but the last two?
I'm confused how to continue after finishing the decrease - do you continue doing invdec's for every stitch until you reach the end/bottom of the form, do you do one invdec and then standard singles for a certain amount of stitches, or something else? Each one I've tried has come out weirdly flat and wonky, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong D:
Late, but it depends on the pattern you’re using. Some patterns may want you to do invdecs the entire round. Others may want you to do a row alternating between standard stitches and then an invdec (ex. 4 sc , 1 invdec *repeat rest of round*) Hope this helps someone!😊

So glad you did that without five minutes of commentary. Thanks! Was helpful.
So clear and easy to understand! I've been trying to understand this for a year now. Thank you!
An year?……💀
I wish I'd known this 100 projects ago lol. Thank you so much for sharing, this is how I decrease now!!

Thank you!! The bees I’ve been crocheting with thinner yarn had gaps so this will be great for those!
Thank you for not making a 20 minute video to show this. Right to the point.

Thank you so much! The book I bought did the "invisible decrease" like a normal decrease and it bothered me so much! So glad there's a proper way to do it!

Thnx. What about increase in amigurumi
How do you make it this round btw? Mine always turn out flat
Thanks for the video ❤️
I guess I accidentally have been crocheting from the inside of the project instead of the outside… is there a way to fix that without starting over?
just flip it?
@@mayagayle3995 thanks, I did flip it inside out and that fixed it lol I just wasn’t sure if that would somehow mess it up 😂
Does this work when the lower color is different than the one you’re using?
thank you so much :)
Thank you!

Omg I watched another tutorial and it wasn’t very clear so mine looked so messy and I didn’t know why and now I see my mistake 😅😂
