Thank you so much! As I get older, the rate that my prescription increases slows down thankfully, haha!
@@allison_baek I'm glad to hear that and I hope it will stop getting worse soon! 😊Thankfully my prescription never increased much on a yearly basis, but it still increases slowly and I'm 25 and it's not almost -3 after 11 years of wearing them. 😅 How strong is your prescription and how long have you been wearing glasses? 😊

Those glasses look perfect on you ! The lenses are not very thick but i understand you . I am also nearsighted -3.00 and i am always anxious about lenses thickness .. what is your prescription ?
I’m pretty blind 😅 But I’m very happy too that the lenses are reasonably thin!

If your glasses were "super old" that' was a good thing because it meant your eyes must have been still seeing pretty good with them or you would have gotten new glasses much sooner. I'm a retired optician and usually anywhere from your early twenties to mid twenties is when your eyes should become stable and you won't need your prescription increased. Do you remember how much of an increase you needed in your new glasses? And what is your new prescription. In looking at your glasses and lenses I am guessing that your glasses are in the -3.50 range. I'm sure without contacts or glasses you aren't able to much of anything.
I just checked the site where you got your glasses from and it's less expensive than the local optical stores but at $125.00 plus not as good as a number of other glasses sites. My girls that worked in my store were provided a new pair of glasses every 6 months as one of their benefits. but that didn't stop them from shopping on line for even more glasses. There reason was for getting prescription sunglasses which weren't provided by us. But then they seemed to always find several other pairs of regular glasses that they simply couldn't live without. But I got the benefit of seeing the glasses they were ordering and they were really very good quality and the prescriptions were dead on as well. But their glasses were always under $20.00 or $25.00 and that included their lenses in their prescriptions. Here are 3 of the sites they were ordering from. Zenni Optical, Payne Glasses and Lensmart. You should check them out. Zenni is a very good source for prescription sunglasses which I bet you don't have. I bet if you had sunglasses in your prescription you would wear your glasses more often and you should because you look really cute in your glasses.
