I used Game pass PC for 2 weeks, here’s my thoughts: I disagree that the Xbox app is good. I constantly had issues installing games, the app wasn’t well integrated into windows, and I noticed the game icons were constantly messed up when I tried to add a desktop shortcut. Like the video mentioned, controller support outside of Xbox controllers is pretty much nonexistent. I have a Switch Pro Controller which works with pretty much every Steam game but was completely incompatible with Game Pass SDK versions. I even tried running the Game Pass games through Steam, but to no avail. I think the experience on Mouse and Keyboard for some games is a lot worse, so this pretty much barred me from playing a lot of games I wanted to because of my controller. Overall, obviously this subscription is a lot worse than owning games, even through Steam. That being said, even with all of its issues, it’s hard to argue with such a huge catalog of games for such a cheap price. I was able to try a lot of games I would have never thought to.
@@larry4469 i will say in the past couple of months I have started to see some major issues and frustrations with using the Xbox app, so I will admit there that I guess I got lucky during that time. Surprisingly my switch pro controller worked with some games I noticed. Persona 5 Tactica on GP properly identified my Switch controller, as a weird example. It’s very odd
its not owned if u buy it digital with time people stop playing then thay will remove the servers u cant play it anymore also i rather spend 100$ for a year in pc game pass and play 50 or 60 game then a game for 70$
Multiplayer on PC is free regardless, so that should not be a factor in your consideration for specifically PC game pass vs ultimate, unless you also have an Xbox.
xbox gamepass is shit imo... the problem is: there are not enough good and expensive games coming out... there need to be 2 full priced games that you would buy and thats just not the case... ofc. its only 10 or 12 euros... but in one year this is 120 - 140 euros... subscribtion services add up i could get alot of games that i can actually keep and im not bound to an subscription service.. imagine all your progression is bound to xbox plattform ( i speak about pc, gamepass pc)... that means: you need to continue subscribtion, or buy the game expensive (xbox store expensive af), otherwhise you loose your progress.... gamepass is not worth it
Thanks for the video, explained everything I needed to know.

For me I’d rather completely own my games rather than paying monthly to play them. And most of the time im just paying for gamepass and not using it
Also I can’t stand the launcher
@@TheGam1ngOwl definitely not for everyone, and that’s fine. At least on PC we have the option to choose how we play our games.
Hi, on pc gamepass, can I change my setting and go above 60fps
If you buy digital (steam etc) you do not own the games either. But I understand wanting to pay for a game instead of subscription.

I bought it on pc had it for day and I’m happy with it and I only payed a $1 for 14 days but I might keep paying for it
Id rather have ultimate so I have access to multiplayer.
