I've sunk a lot of fun hours into Generation Zero. First person shooter set in the 80's Sweden. Battling robots of all shapes and sizes. Rpg elements, base building and defense. So many cool parts of it!
Just got a brand new Xbox series x cuz I really wanted to try starfield. The game is sooo laggy it's embarrassing. Even Halo Infinite looks better on my series x than starfield. Disappointed.
Give it time, when cyberpunk came out it looked cool, like a wild GTA. But it was a bugged glitchy mess. I waited two years, randomly played it and had a blast. 10/10 compared to a day 1 experience. Come back in a year or two & it'll be better maybe.
Unless they changed the definition of bomb to game that reviewed well and sold millions of copies. It's the opposite of a bomb. Polarizing like he said, sure, but not a bomb.

Its a 7.0 user score on meta, all time mixed and recent mostly negative on steam, with no awards at TGA. Starfield was an utter disapointment and anyone who is saying is a masterpiece and game of the year looses credibility with me.

It's 100% true, just as Starfield having an 85 on open critic with a mighty overall rating in addition to being highly recommended by critics is true. If the user score is 7/10, guess what? That means 70% of the people love it. 30% dislike it fair enough. You're talking about the 30% continuously saying it's a disappointment as if they are the majority, while ignoring the 70% of users who enjoy it. It doesn't get a 7/10 if everyone hates it. Nor does it stay in the top 10 games sold all year; beating out games like FF16, despite the fact it's on game pass, if people thought it was such a huge disappointment. One of my biggest criteria in searching for games is that I want to look badass. Immortal fenyx rising has let me do that while also not making it seem grindy

Almost finishing my second playthrough and now Im ready to move on to next game. Have all weapons, experienced every corner of the game and even bosses are now kind of easy, expect one or two. I think 3rd NG + would be boring already.

You have a very superficial top : there is Doom Eternal but there is no Doom 2016 , which is many times better , there is Gears Of War 4 but there is no Gears 5 for the sake of online in which Game Pass is bought by Gears fans . Also on your list : Gotham Knights, but there is no Arkham Knights, which is also better at everything. Again, there is Starfield, but there is no Titanfall 2 and Battlefront 2. Also worthy of being on the list are: Planet of lana, firewatch, death door, yakuza all parts, halo wars 2, as well as such masterpieces as : Cocon and Ori (dilogy), etc. I would remove a third of the games from the list.
bro i saw lego starwars and started up my pc IMMEDIATELY. I have the best childhood memories playing on the PS2. (i specifically remember when i used to just go around jumping as yoda cus i liked the way he flipped.)

Great list! Some others I really liked are Deaths Door, Far Cry 5, Lost in Random, Chivalry 2, and Inside

Lost In Random IS A GREAT GAME. Far Cry 5 was announced after this video was written but it could have been in this list for sure.
