I too have always wondered why the cardinal represents Christmas so, I looked it up & it reads.: “The Cardinal has been christened the “Christmas Bird” for its spectacular red color Legend proclaims the cardinal is the symbol of beauty & warmth of the holiday season. A glimpse of the brilliant bird brings cheer, hope & inspiration on a gray winter day.”

Red evolved into a universally-recognized color for Christmas as a symbol of the blood of Christ which He shed to redeem all of mankind. The cardinal’s vibrant crimson is a lovely reminder to focus on our faith in His atonement and the hope and peace that it brings. Cardinals don’t migrate south for the winter, so they stay home year round making them one of the few types of birds one might see during the Christmas season. They also have a deep spiritual meaning in that a visit from a cardinal is a visit from a deceased loved one.

I bought the flickering wick candles on Amazon and put them all over my house. They come with a remote so they are easy to turn off and on. Makes the house so cozy for winter.
The bird is a winter bird and also it symbolizes when you see it someone is visiting you from heaven 😊

I have a diy I did a couple of years ago with those candles. They indeed last a very long time. Good finds. I have to look out for those socks & the cardinal card. I love those birds. I saw my first one in person right after my grandma passed 15 years ago & I've been seeing them daily since. To me, it's her watching over my boys & me.
I nearly spit my drink out with the tire rotation comment. My drink went down the wrong pipe & I had to start your video over again it to me some time to get my breath back. A lady actually asked my husband that question once back when he was working as a mechanic. He could not believe it. He said he had the hardest time keeping a straight face. Everytime you hear a jingle bell an angel get their wings, so the legend goes. That makes me happy when I hear jingle bells at Christmas. Ok I'm going to go with Santa B he reminds me of the Santas I grew up seeing. I want some of those beanies, yep one of each. I also want some of the cards of the village covered in snow. Then I have to also get the navy blue card, the deers card, the snowman & of course the santa leaping, oh & Santa with the stockings. I don't remember you ever showing the pine scent with a Dollar Tree haul before. I haven't seen it here in Killeen yet . TFS! Have a great day.

Love the gnomes I embellished mine with mini shovel and Hoe (from $🌲) extra craft fur too . Too frickin cute! Your candles can get a kick up by adding hot glue drips for realism. Waverly wax paint and water added an aged look(but not dirty). Just my bored COVID brain dribbling ...🤣
I’ve watched several of your videos and never knew you were in Dallas! That’s cool I’m not too far so I always hope I’m able to find the same stuff at my DT stores. You’re a bad influence on me, I have upped my bi-weekly trips to every week lol. Love your videos ❤️
Every year I buy the "Scentsicles" for my tree. I can't have my tree up (fake) without them. I always buy them at Target or Walmart. They are around $7 for 6. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed that I find some at my DT!!!

Your attention to detail is beyond measure. I never look on the back of cards or the sides of gift bags. I can shop DT and not be interested in a thing but watch your haul and run back to DT and buy it all. It’s almost like a treasure hunt to see what I can find 😀🤷🏻♀️ love your videos !!!!

Santa B, just the look in his eyes I like better. Love all the cards you found. I hope I can find them. My favorite card is the handmade one with the cup of cheer. The aqua blue and red is a perfect color combo!
Last year I got a bunch of those Christmas bells scarves and gave them as little gifts with other stuff. And I bought 3 campers. One for my house, one for our RV and one for my sister's RV

I'd previously found the gnome ornaments then the gnome sign but today I found the oven mitt, pot holder and dish towel!! They had the same gnome print as the sign.
OMG so many good things! I am here for the gnome stuff, it has grown on me. A gnome theme in your media room would be cute. Such great cards! Oh that cardinal card, my Mom loves cardinals. Not sure how cardinals became apart of Christmas. I know they are my state bird, I am from West Virginia.
DT has larger size gnomes also. Grey ones and red ones. They are double the size of the ornaments.

Hmmmmm....I LOVE the LED candles - they throw a lot of decent light. I use them every day as night lights at the end of the hall and on the fridge. I stopped buying them when they went down to 1 per pack. Hopefully that's a good sign that the 2-packs will make a comeback. Now I know to look. TFS 😊

Omg the knomes are everything, On Thursday I found bigger knomes with a grey hat they are absolutely adorable; look out for those I snatched 3 of them and two of the small ornaments!
I love the Cardinals bird I always have a lot of them in summer .so hoping for them during the winter months also ..as I've lost all my family so I always think either mom daddy or my sister are with me ..love these birds just beautiful ...
I live in "middle of nowhere" Maine, I went to my "local" DT yesterday & I actually found some AMAZING stuff! My BEST find was some Gnomes! They're like 4 times the size of the ornament gnomes 😱 I was IN SHOCK!! The manager, who I'm friends with, says "OMG Jess where did you find these!?! SERIOUSLY!?!?!" I had the only 4 that came into the store. So, me being awesome I shared LoL I bought 2 & gave her 2😁They're the cutest!!!

Marie I don't know if you have many deer in your area but we have so many in PA it's kind of annoying. I'm not far from Valley Forge and if you walk around there at dusk you see them off to the side while you are walking. Also we have a lot in my area and one time I came home and turned into my development around 8 pm and there were a few walking across the street. Beautiful when they are in the distance for sure! 😉
I live very close to Valley Forge (used to drive thru the park on my way to work in KoP), and would see the deer on the way home in the early evening. Also have three that visit our back yard often.
.....a good cup of Coffee.....Gilmore Girls on Netflix and Crafty Girl.....so cozy ❤️

Gnomes(Neisse’s) are European my mom was born in Danmark so they were a huge part of my Christmas’s and still are I can’t say how many I have for sure but one can never have to many 🤪😂😂

to go with the gnome sign and ornaments they came out with a 14 inch gnome in grey and two different red ones, kitchen towel, oven mitt and oven pot holders, as well as a coffee cup. Still waiting to see if more things with the gnome.

i live vicariously through you in so many ways. I love Dollar Tree. And I had a niece that grew up spending time with me. I used to love to watch her play with her toys. I know i spoiled her, but she has grown up to be a sweet, caring and loving college student. I was there when she was born, and my first words to her were, "Hi, Abby, can you say Aunt Treen's my favorite?" It wasn't long before she was saying it too. I might have encouraged her to say it, I'm just saying..... anyway, I love to see the gifts you buy, give and wrap. Hugs, treen

I found GIANT gnomes at my dollar tree today!!!! Theyre like a foot tall and all have different hats! They are the same style as the smaller ornaments but have beans in them to weigh them down. I got a whole family of them!!! Theyre HUGE

OMG DT has big gnomes too! They are 14” and they are only $1.00 too! I just paid 19.95 for the same size. I have yet to find them in the stores but they are on their website but it’s minimum order is for a case of 27 I think.

I was at dollar general today and I seen all the Christmas items they are putting out, well needless to say I purchased lots of the Christmas items 🤷🏻♀️... but as I was shopping and seeing ALL THE BEAUTIFUL ITEMS, I couldn’t help but thinking 💭, Marie would love lots of the items they have! So Marie, I think you should check out the Dollar General store ( if you have one in Texas, I live in Kentucky) and browse their Christmas items they are putting out, they have some deers, and forest ornaments as well, just a thought...
