Hold on,dixie!
I was indifferent to the whole flag issue until I toured Gettysburg, and saw the place where over 46,000 Americans were killed or wounded. The Confederates were Americans too. They answered their nation's call and fought like lions.
Southerners are a proud and brave people, and they deserve a symbol of that pride. If you are offended by that symbol then don't look at it.
+Strontium9T It's a sign of treachery.
James, so the early American flag of the 13 colonies is also a sign of treachery then too, yes?
Strontium9T The original 13 didn't try to secede. In fact, it was the predecessor to the Union as we know it.
@@jameslearing970 Technically they seceded from the United Kingdom.
@@NoAimLoser2 You're right, but not technically; they clearly did, tbh. Not sure where I came from in this original comment since it's from so long ago, but I believe I was talking explicitly from the Union of states.
Played this in my sister’s wedding.
Our kids shall remember this moment dearly.

TheWilliamMaster Says a commie.
Valerious Catastros Yes, says a communist who wants everyone to be equal.
Not supporting Communism is basically advocating for inequality.
TheWilliamMaster If you mean communism as in Stalin-ism, then you're basically advocating aristocracy. Which, to my knowledge of Wikipedia, is kind of a _really_ long shot from egalitarian.
So tl;dr, Communism *IS* also advocating for inequality.
Phin Pie I mean Communism in it's purest form. Not whatever the Soviet Union had back in the 40's.
WE MAKIN IT OUTTA THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA WIT THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful
Dixie never equals Nazi. Potential Dixie (under USA's rule) had fought against Nazi (during WW2).

The country was founded on white supremacy was it not?
@@jeffreymuu5451 There were racist elements but the primary founding was mostly about liberty. I'm also aware that the majority at the time was white. Generally when a racial group has a majority of the population there tends to be a supremacy. It doesn't mean that it's right, that's just how it is sometimes. It's definitely changed mostly for the better since the old days because of the constitution's ability to be amended. There are still some problems but give it time and it'll work itself out.
Hats off....!! A great country musician from back in the 1920s once wrote that he had never heard this song played where the crowd did not burst into "riotous cheers". Keep those colors flying, boys!!
