I think my biggest issue with TBFP no longer being together is that I mostly hear grievances about it addressed to Woolie. A man who is likely to straight up say the resurrection of Christ is more likely than the idea of 4 guys who like video games coming together to have fun for an hour or two.
it doesn't hurt that they disbanded to me honestly it hurts that they're not friends anymore the channel would've eventually ended no matter what and its great everyone's got their own successful channel now but the fact that their friendship ended is just really sad to hear considering the chemistry they had when they were friends
I dont think they where ever truly friends at all entirely and that relationship became sour after years of doing the same thing. It never seemed like Pat and Liam ever liked one another outside of producing video content and it kinda seemed like Liam was brought in to replace Pat in the first place as you could tell Pat and Matt where starting to dislike each for years and it became especially obvious with how passive agressive Matt was to Pat in the last year or so of videos they made together.

I'm so glad their channel and all their videos are still up. I'm not gonna bother them, because they dont wanna make videos together anymore. But its great to look back on the channel, at the hard work and dedication, and the fun times they all had together. Its like looking an photo album of the pictures you taken with your friends 15 years ago. Lets just appreciate the old channel and videos are still up. And not deleted and not trying to erase history. Because, nothing is deleted on the internet. Its forever
Honestly the fact that Woolie 'The Great Deceiver' Madden and Pat 'The Harbinger of Craze' Boivin have kept their podcast going all this time is more than anyone could ask for if you think about it. Not only that but they've got their own channels and they still play games and we can enjoy their thoughts and reactions till this day, compared to other channels that came to an end, this is a pretty good ending I would say.
I dont have time to follow their streams, so I really appreciate that they kept the podcast going.
Of the multiple endings good bad neutral this is neutral route.

My problem was that the Final video was not as closing as it should. Even tho it was all 3 of them talking about whatever was going on, it felt scripted and PR, something that they never were during all the years in the channel.

It's very odd... I think maybe because the Beatles had such a famous band that they felt accomplished. While sbfp never had a giant following that you could hear the aggressive tones they took on to each other's remarks. For example oat would say something stupid and silly and get kinda sold out by matt. It was also vice versa.i remember pat really harping on how Matt had to act stupid in the machima videos, Matt's tone was kinda upset. You could tell Matt wanted mass viewers even if it met putting on an act for entertainment. While pat was just raw in every form. It made a great combo, wish they would put their differences behind. Woolie is a chill dude for everyone u can tell no hard feelings are twords him Liam always hated how pat would berade him like a group of highschool kids who gets picked on by a mutual friend of the group. Liam was annoying but I did feel for him. They all fucked it up by holding that hate in like a group of chicks
The Beatles grew up together as people and split over money issues, the manager and disagreements over touring. It was always a wild mischaracterisation that they split because they hate each other, rather the split caused some lingering resentments, and its increasingly well known that John and paul who were always cast as archrivals actually remained each others biggest fans.
SBFP were very entertaining together, but it was mostly a business relationship. And sometimes even when people like each other it's time to move on with life, Northernlion Super Show was great for many years, but people move in different directions. And most of those people are honestly way more mature than the SBFP gang, no offense to any of them but emotionally no-one seems all there.
Yeah, you still see Paul and Ringo hanging out with each other from time to time.
@@jace2802 A good example of creative flow differences was with the now defunct Machinima series they had. As time went on you could tell very much when they were being told to play something for views/cash, and when one of the episodes was made because they legitimately enjoyed content. Those AAA videos they were clearly contractually obligated to do in later seasons were unwatchable garbage and arguably represented the wrong side of content making. While a video like Vanquish still provided hearty laughs to this day.
Hell, even Ringo forgave Geroge for sleeping with his wife! They were like brothers!
Woolie's response may have initially seemed abrupt, but I can understand that he probably gets this question frequently and had to close the door. But like the guy asking implied, we all miss it. We watched their videos when they were together for years, both for the laughs and the gaming, and we're nostalgic for it. At the same time, the evolution of their videos is a life metaphor: things don't last forever, we all grow and move on to different things, and we become different people.
It's fun to watch their old videos now and again, but as fans of theirs, I'm also glad they've grown and moved on to what makes them happy.
Naw, it's bad that they stopped making content people enjoyed, what they feel is irrelevant. People have a right to be angry and disappointed, the only reason they've reached anything is cause of what they did before.

Idk as a mega fan of the zaibatsu i can see where that guy was coming from. We all want to see them come back together, even if its for one little video. I grew up watching them throughout my teenage and pre teen years, i love these guys. But if they're dead set on never patching things up and moving on then i guess we have to respect that.

I agree... and it's like, Woolie, we can't read you guys' minds. We don't know what happened and it's MUCH more confusing for us than it is for you four. From what the it sounded like from the Final video it seems like business and personal relationships conflicted but from THIS response you make it seem like Matt slept with Paige and you're angry at us for even suggesting a reunion. Bro, we don't know what happened because you all won't talk about it. It's not about making things like they were, we just want you all to possibly be okay with each other. You all literally went to Matt's wedding. That's not insignficant. It's not JUST about our selfish wants, we also feel a lot of remorse not that the channel ended but that really strong friendships ended.

@GundamGames That there's an unfair expectation for Woolie to sort out his relationships in a way that I don't believe people would genuinely hold themselves, and their own past relationships, to.
I admit, I said it super condescendingly and should've approached it from a more sympathetic angle.
I think, personally, it reminded me of feeling forced to get back with my ex. I felt like my health and safety was being disregarded; like the people in my life would rather see me depressed to make themselves feel better in a situation they can enter and exit whenever it's most convenient for them, when I had to be trapped with their decision 24/7.
Ultimately, Woolie doesn't sound like he's holding resentment to me. It sounds like he keeps being forced back into a condition he's tried to move away from, by people who don't have to put in any of the effort or emotional lifting.
As he said, he's also wanted certain bands to get back together and that he'd do the same so he should not feel disrespected with these questions. The difference is the 'best friends' fans can actually communicate with the members in ways such as this. And no one knows at all why they even disbanded out of nowhere and to such a hardcore extent of not wanting anything at all to do with one another. To go from "best friends" seemingly having a blast playing games together to basically considering the other nonexistent will of course be curious for everyone.

@@LayerInfinityPart of getting old is realizing that enjoyment and good things in this world are finite and you can either do your best to soak up as much of those before they pass and prepare for that moment or learn to find enjoyment in discovering new things but never getting invested in any of them. Life sucks and will continue to get worse with every passing moment, but it’s our only option. Take it or leave it.

As a fan of SBFP for years, it hurts that it happens, but that's because the ride was amazing. I love the solo channels. They're all fun channels to watch, and I enjoy everyone's styles.
I will admit, when I'm feeling sad, I occasionally go to the old channel, watch a video, and pretend I'm back when it was simpler times.
I miss the simpler times too. At least the old channel is still up with all of the old videos. That probably matters more to me than anything
Considering Silent hill 2 is getting a remake man it could have been a funny series.
The one thing I miss from the SBFP days were honestly the commentary from matt & whoever, Matt's current content is good dont get me wrong but I feel like the guy was way more funny when he had pat or woolie to bounce off of. But hey at least the channel is still up, I always go back a few times a year to watch some of the playthroughs and one off vids.

I like coming back to this video because it grounds me. I get the hurt. Part of the appeal of SBF was that it replicated the feeling of being in a room with your buds trash-talking each other over Weaponlord or a Transformers game. Them slowly dissolving reminds us that not every friendship lasts, or at least doesn't always go in the direction that you hope it will or expect it to. But that's normal. And if nothing else, we have these time capsules of their work and compilations and animations to go back to - even if there is still the hurt. But it can be a good hurt. As much as I'll miss Woolz and Matt's banter (I'm a proud member of The 13000 from Tokyo Mirage Sessions), there's something nice about the idea that their witticisms and observations will outlast them and their channel.
I think what happened with the SBF serves as a solid cautionary tale for anyone who wants to get into content creation. This is a scene that eats time, energy, and money, and puts a lot of strain on your sanity and relationships. And when your brand is based on Being Friends, that alone can be a recipe for disaster. Now add all the parasocial nonsense and vitriolic snipes from certain corners of the internet that they had to put up with over the years and, well, that can't have helped.
Besides which, Woolie is right; everyone has to respect the fact that they've all moved on. Pat and Woolie still pod together, but they have separate streams that they host with their own crews, and that model seems to work for them. Matt's having a fun time reviewing and previewing all the janky media in the world. Liam quit RUclips altogether and got into game design. Even their costars and co-collaborators are in different worlds now. If the planets did align and all the beef was squashed ...how, exactly, would they ever work together again? And why? I imagine they'd be almost unrecognizable. They all seem perfectly happy to be where they are.
And I'm happy for them. People grow up and grow apart. Forcing folks to stay together is unnatural.

thanks for sharing this video I often watch Pat and Woolie streams and OFTEN fight with myself about making that question to them... I'm glad I never did but boy it sucks. They're all grownass man now (I mean they always were) and MAYBE they could all come to terms and make some new stuff together but sometimes time doesn't fix things and things stay broken for good.
They're all doing just fine on their own and castle super best is pretty cool I watch it every week but even tho Woolie says he understand where the fans coming from I'm not 100% sure he REALLY understand the bigass impact they did on many people's life for the better. Either way always respected their decision and now I know not to ask that question.

I gotta say that it sorta feels like Woolie is assuming that people know what actually happened with the Zaibatsu, despite them never being clear about what went down.
I get and totally respect their decision to keep private matters private, and i think it's a good choice. That being said, if you don't tell the audience what it's actually like, then people will not know what you know and you will get comments like this on the regular. It's not the audience being disrespectful or clinging to the past. It's the audience with very little information wondering if they could do a collab with the old gang again, which if you haven't followed some obscure twitter answers, isn't all to unreasonable to believe might be possible.
Yeah I agree. I think this comment section has shown, myself included, that piecemeal information we gather from any one member prior to or after the fact has led to this maddening speculation. I don't expect them to dive fully into it especially if its of a concerning nature. If it is, it feels intellectually if not morally dishonest to hide it from your fans for fear of losing out on a paycheck. Not saying it is that mind you please do not take that as "truth."
If it isn't, then it'll only becoming more puzzling as that information starts trickling more from each source. Instead of controlling the narrative, it'll only spiral out of control if that situation occurs. And as we know, Woolie loves to try to control the narrative.
It just feels very weird we had a group of men tell us so much of their personal lives, often too much of it, suddenly be unwilling to part with info that would effectively cause questions like this to die down even years later. It's especially odd for any single one of them to consider that a fan of the prior thing that is a fan of the current thing may in fact be the same person with the same interests they've always had... I can definitely understand where that commenter was coming from. And sympathize given how that...crowd of Woolies comment section wise tends to be. Considering all that, its starting to feel more like a "brave" question then a innocent one and that concerns me as a fan of what once was.
I don't think Woolie assumes that. I think they told us enough to let us know that the channel was ending and that the guys have all kept the personal details behind the scenes. Frankly, it hurts enough that they aren't all friends anymore. I really don't want to hear any personal details about the ending of the channel, especially if it's details about Matt and Pat arguing with each other.

They played SF6 against each other on their streams around release (before Rashid I believe) and Pat just called in to give Woolie/Reggie the BG3 breakdown/flavor text and all the good stuff. Reggie even blended someone before Pat finished advice and caused hella laughter
I mean they talk every week together on the CastleSuperbeast Podcast and occasionally Pat pops into Woolies stream. So I wouldn't act like they don't do ANYTHING together anymore. if anything i'd say we actually get plenty of Woolie/Pat content considering they don't run a channel together or anything.

that didn't happened for obvious reasons.. Pat pace of elden ring was crazy he finished it within a couple of days of it's release while woolie still at it. Also the other day during the podcast Pat kinda spoiled something to woolie by accident while talking about the lore of elden ring and you should've of seen Woolie's face he was so angry hahaha.

Woolie, the problem here is people are NOT understanding why the disbanded was all about. People are lacking context of what happened internally, so it creates mixed feelings. Some horrible shit might happened between you guys, and I understand that you don’t want to talk shit about it; although, you will have people keep asking you the same thing until the main problem is revealed. The fans need to understand the main problem to let the past go, so everyone can move on.
And if you do try to find out what happened, all you find is vague ideas from the community based on conjecture and possibly negative comments made on twitter that point towards personal drama. It doesn't help that they literally shut down the old channel overnight, in the middle of multiple LPs, and all they said was "we're just not friends anymore" with a shrug, but then Pat and Woolie immediately kept working together.
Woolie acts as if there's some big explanation video that people are ignoring, and as with most things, is coming at it from a very strange direction that isn't how anyone else sees it.

Personally, I don't care. By the midpoint of the old channel, Pat and Woolie were the only ones I could still stand listening to, so things worked out fairly well in that respect.
However, Woolie is acting like a little bitch about it. They ended things in a way that begs for an explanation, that's on them for doing a five minute video that said nothing instead of a few paragraphs on a reddit post or something. He just needs to get over it, because he'll be dodging this for the rest of his life since he's the only one one of them who even acknowledges the questions in the first place. And the strangely condescending and angry way he always addresses the issue doesn't make people less interested in the "truth".
It takes a bit of digging but Matt's wife calling Paige a nazi and starting needles drams with pat for wanting to fix a mistake probably had something to do with it

I get the feelings of the person writing in, but as someone that has had a friendship end relatively publicly, I understand wanting to move on and being annoyed about people trying to bring something back that isn't going to happen. It's a bad feeling, just let people move on with their lives.
The problem is nobody has a solid confirmation about why it happened on top of it being like if somebody saw you and your friend playing Videogames literally the night before and then it comes out you haven’t been friends with that person for awhile and actually hate them and also we are never going to hang out at this one specific place anymore

I felt that the last year was really lackluster anyway. Partly because of the missing chemistry but mostly because there was too much stuff. In the beginning I watched everything they did but at the end it was just so much stuff to get through that I kind of gave up. There's a limit to how many hours of your week you can sit with these guys watching them play games or listening to their pod.
The Matt and Pat chemistry in the early videos was the foundation of everything. No other constellation of these guys together or individually is ever going to be as interesting. Patt and Matt are not half as fun to watch individually. I am not going to complain. I am not going to hassle them. And I am not going to watch their streams either. Because no matter how much we should respect their decision we are not obligated to support stuff we find boring.
Finally I feel like I can agree wholeheartedly with a comment on the topic. It hurts but its hurt for longer then their channels official ending because they haven't been the Best Friends we knew for even longer then that. If I can't find it in myself at the time to obligate 1 hour-2 hours a day to any channel in the way I used to with them at their height, much less the one they left at the end for us, there's no way I can justify a 6-10 hour stream from Pat for instance. I guess fans are in the wrong for not liking Firefly's cancellation and I guess they were "rabid annoying fans" for making petitions, pleading with the actors and company to make a season 2. For once think of this is as a business perspective because guess what? RUclips is a business even back then. Us fans are going to be upset, a simple question about a reunion shouldn't be this taboo to talk about. you see it all the time in conventions. If they stopped filming together for serious personal reasons then just say so. "they aren't friends anymore" just makes it worse for the fans, it causes speculation which starts rumors. The Super Best Friends were some of the best in the lp business but people need to move on. Things change, Matt and Pat and Liam aren’t friends anymore, they’ve got their own lives now. And in those 4 years, people have probably asked them the same questions over and over again. I get Woolie’s frustration honestly, him and the others have moved on but the fans won’t let them.
They’ll always be known as the Ex-members of that LP group that ended due to a friendship that had gone sour. But maybe it’s time WE move on and recognise them as their own individual content creators.

It’s not coming from a place of disrespect, they were very open socially while the channel was running and to then just get a video telling us Matt and Patt actually really really don’t like eachother and have been faking it for a while and that the ‘Super Best Friends’ were the opposite of that, people are gonna ask questions. The stop felt very sudden and now rewatching any videos with intense arguments, even over dumb stuff, hits differently knowing that.

However, you also need to understand that forgetting a good memory dosent only mean you are moving on. Some would rather remember those good memories, while doing something else with their time, and not bother people to keep the gang together.

Woolie is entirely correct. The zaibatsu released a clear statement in 2018 that they were disbanding. To be asked a question like that is one thing but Woolie constructively explained why doing so is a bad idea; it’s just not in the cards and people need to move on. Sometimes in life, you don’t get the resolution you want on certain things. In 20 years, things could change and they may reunite for a one off but why worry about that shit now? Why not support each of them in their own ways as content creators. Show them you care by leaving the past to die.
That's the thought process that led to the original channel stagnating and leading them all to sour with each other (or just Matt, really) in the first place. So many people in the fanbase just accepted sloppy LPs and random hiatuses without explanation, no expectation for the channel to improve, no standards but wanting them to sit there playing a game while they make Simpsons and JoJo jokes.
There's a reason the channel was around for almost a decade and never cracked a million subs, and it's primarily this "shut up and accept it" mentality that always cropped up from so many viewers whenever anyone else pointed out that one of their LPs was poorly thought through or just played lazily because they weren't paying attention to the tutorial and they end up paying for it for 10 hours.

The truth: Matt was a petulant, child-like simpleton from day one. The fanbase coddling him like a baby only made it worse. Eventually he wasn't even running anything and was taking 10 vacations a year, and he remembered to call it quits and move on to his new, worse channel. Woolie is mad, probably not because someone asked him a question about what happened, but more likely because he got fucked out of a channel he put a lot of hard work into by someone who didn't, and who knows? Holy hell just saw this I have been waiting for YEARS to hear/see anything that explains what the hell happened it must have been horrible to get to this point where Willie is having a full on meltdown panic attack over a fan just asking for a get together. I think the biggest reason as to why people can't let go of the wonderful memories that the Zaibatsu crew brought to us all, is the possibility that people probably feel that there's something they weren't being told about when it came down to the whole reason or reasons as to why they all broke up.
I've heard plenty of rumors that one thing was the catalyst, and other rumors saying that it was a multitude of problems between them, what was going on in their lives, what each of their states of mind were, whether or not they began to blame one-another for those problems that arose and compounded to the point it resulted in them breaking up, etc, etc, etc.
The thing is, there's no way for the fans to truly know if it was one major thing that sparked the break-up, or if there were multiple reasons that built up over time that caused it. Some fans were able to move on because they got enough closure from what was explained in their final video. Some people didn't need any closure at all and simply moved on to the next thing to fill the proverbial void.
Others weren't able to get enough closure to move on because they felt like they needed full disclosure of all the details. Even if one of the crew posted a tell-all, you'd have people arguing that it's just one person's take on it. Even if you had them all sitting in a room together and telling us in full about every detail, it would put an enormous strain on them all in order to do that, without it turning into a tums festival clusterfuck clownfiesta - and I wouldn't want to ask them to go to those lengths just to give fans the full story, because it wouldn't be fair to anyone. Not us and not them. It would've more than likely left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, and/or ruined one or multiple zaibatsu members ability to continue having separate, online presences in the future.
And that's the thing about why the break-up was so bad, and why people are arguing in this comments section, **even now**...
These guys were absolutely amazing. I myself, have fond memories of the zaibatsu. Their content carried me through a pretty dark time in my life, that being a length of time of utterly agonizing homelessness. I still watch comipilations of their content to this day, because the content was just that good. It was that good to me that it left an impact that still brings me moments of respite, and hypothetically to others who might've had their own problems in life that the Zaibatsu helped them through (whether it was just a minimal amount or a lot).
I'm not implying that they maliciously lied to the fans in their final video about the reasons as to why they broke up, and I'm not even sure if there is a "whole story " or not, or if it involved people outside of the four of them. I've heard this and that, but I myself don't see how it does anyone any good to still carry all that bitterness that still shows up every now and then when you see people argue about who was most at fault for the split. The thing is - it's not even that big a deal to me that they split. What pains my heart is seeing people being so malicious to one-another over a fucking LP channel breaking up - and seeing how harmful it can be (in a social community standpoint kinda way) for people to develop these kinds of parasocial relationships with content creators and whatnot.

I remember when Matt couldn't beat the final boss from SH: Homecoming and practically ragequit, letting Pat finish the boss for him.
I remember how hype it was the first time I saw The Punisher LP intro, and how hard I laughed at the concept art parody version of it.
I remember getting banned from the subreddit because a meme I made about Pat and Paige was a little too spicy for someone to let slide, whether it was a mod, or one of the zaibatsu themselves.
Grand Wizard Wakka, Fart Gas, Citizen Snips, "What's The Deal With Silent Hill Anyways" Seinfe- I mean Douglas, Heather doing sick katas while studying the blade,the list goes on and on and on.
That's how much of a memetic impact these guys had, Jack. The DNA of the soul.
I see how much it tears Woolie apart to be reminded of those times, especially when it comes from vitriolic fans/ex-fans - and it kills me to see how he wants to just move on past it, but some fans just won't let it go.
I have so many fond memories of it all that I'm welling up with emotions typing about all of this, because that's how good it was. Those good times remain in some form, and for some fans it brings up memories of how painful it was to see those good times come to an end.
But all in all, those uniquely good times are gone and in the past, and you should treat them as the past. It's time for the the boys and the fans to make new good times on their own individual level - as well as the good times they've brought to us as metaphorical phoenixes born from the ashes.
Watching Reggie and Woolie playing Divekick and seeing their eyes light up gives me heartwarming hope for these fellas.

TL;DR - Woolie's absolutely right. It is a big fucking OOF. For them and for us. But the least the fanbase can fucking do (to show their appreciation for the Zaibatsu) is celebrate and reminisce about the good memories these people gave us, instead of bickering and focusing solely on who was the most at fault in the comments. They wouldn't want that and we shouldn't either. The Zaibatsu died, so you shouldn't piss on its grave just to spite some random person you saw in a comments section.

If only things were anywhere near as good now as they were then, people wouldn't ask questions like this. I understand not wanting to go back to that point in their life personally, but breaking up the community, distancing themselves this far from what they cultivated and just expecting everyone else to be okay with that massive and SUDDEN gap of these people together in their life is not only absurd, it's somewhat insulting.
I'm sure Woolie has his reasons for responding like this, but the Friends have to understand that while it may be a tired trope a lot of people have reacted to this about as well or similarly to their parents getting divorced. Now whenever I watch new content from any of the Friends I feel a familiar happiness that I've seen them again, but more so I can never shake that nagging feeling that things just aren't right and somebody isn't saying something.
Might be too close to it. Not for enjoying the content for missing it, but for being insulted that they moved on.
I think what bothers them is the implication that what they’re doing now, that makes them happier than they were, is less valuable to old fans than their old stuff. It’s nobodie’s fault, people became fans from the old content and so it shouldn’t be taken as an insult when they expected more of why they showed up. It’s like if McDonalds stopped selling burgers and shifted to burritos. It may be a fantastic burrito, but people are gonna miss and ask about the burgers that until now built the franchise to begin with. I still watch Woolie and Pat regularly, and I enjoy it, but I still watch the old channel more than either of their current stuff. CSB is still strong, but the stream format doesn’t appeal to me like the pre recorded content did, and you can’t really replace the lightning in a bottle that was their four personalities in a room together. Regardless of how they felt personally about one another, they were an exceptional act together and it’s a shame we lost out on more of it going forward.

Old videos and CSB are just about all that's worth sinking time into for me anymore. Not that they're bad to watch, but as you said, streaming doesn't have the same appeal and takes a lot of time, and Matt's current content feels WAY too produced. I just hope they don't fade completely into obscurity through all this.

The biggest reason was just not the SBFP Let's Play's were the best content they ever made, even just old Matt & Woolie was amazing. Pat shined the most when all 3 were together. Though to be fair, Matt became a different person after he got married. He wasn't funny anymore really. His wife had a problem with Pat and was a detriment to their relationship. I think by 2016-2017 it was already over. The best of their work remains 2012-2015.

I guess fans are in the wrong for not liking Firefly's cancellation and I guess they were "rabid annoying fans" for making petitions, pleading with the actors and company to make a season 2. For once think of this is as a business perspective because guess what? RUclips is a business even back then. Us fans are going to be upset, a simple question about a reunion shouldn't be this taboo to talk about, you see it all the time in conventions. If they stopped filming together for serious personal reasons then just say so. "they aren't friends anymore" just makes it worse for the fans, it causes speculation which starts rumors. They needed some PR advice because they did it all wrong and poor Woolie is the "spokesperson" for the dead channel now.
Do Woolie and Matt or Liam interract with one another? Because I know there's an unresolvable break between Pat and Matt, but I thought Woolie remained friends with all of them just fine.
Matt and Liam do tons of videos together. Pat and Woolie have streamed together a handful of times as well. I don't think that Woolie is very close to anyone but Pat anymore.

All they did was ask a question and they put the commentor on blast, all he had to say is won't happen and keep it going, to keep talking and talking about it he became "that person"
I still want to know what happened that caused the break up. But I get his point but I don't think it's to much to ask for either though that there would be the occasional reunion. Almost all artist have done it at least once or twice just as a shout out to where they started and a thank you to the fans that got you here. I understand doing your own thing but still you know. Can't even leave a hope like ( yeah maybe in a few years.). It ok though I myself can live with the fact that it's over but it's a shame for sure. I'm to busy to care all that much though.

I come back year after year to this hoping for an answer still. You know what's shitty? enjoying their videos today and not getting any kind of explanation. Also their careers are much less profitable now that they split up other than Matt. I'd like to know why still.

I don’t even expect or want a reunion like some of these people, unless it was something Matt and Pat wanted. I think it’s only natural that people are going to inquire about what happened since they were given next to nothing on why the split occurred.

The explanation was more transparent than most. Matt and Pat are no longer friends. I remember even other RUclips folks like the dudes at OneyPlays, DingDong and Julian praised them for being so open with the situation. This comment is the equivalent of getting a nude pic from someone but being like “….but you didn’t put the camera INSIDE your butthole”
