- Ranking all 4 star skill animations in Genshin Impact in a tier list, which is subjective, highly. I may not like what you like, this is based on my personal taste so feel free to tell me that you hate my face because I didn't rank your favorite character high enough. :3

I might just rank all 47 characters from favorite to least favorite (not in terms of power only) just to give some extra context to these lists.

Though seriously that could be another interesting ranking as several characters have great Auto attack animations that one never sees in normal play.

Fun fact: If you use anemo on ningguang's screen (such as anemo traveller's hold e), there will be some flying paper effects

Yeah it’s true, i don’t really like Lisa as a character and i wouldn’t play or build her, but i can’t lie her burst animation is really cool in my opinion

Xinyan not only has cool shield effects and cool start up, but she also has...

This is why I love playing as her.. i know she is underwhelming in strength.. They should really buff her, at least give 1-2 stack to focus on instead of 3.. but her animations and her theme is so crazy good, and I'm a biased for instrument playing character (Venti, Xinyan)
@@GReyn I agree, rock girlboss deserves a buff, like making her skill and burst scale off one single stat or making the shield deal damage at all levels
@@xueyi_lover yeah.. i know lots of people who likes her, but couldn't play her because there much better character..
Keep her a physical DPS carry change the def stat to atk like jean, and she is all set..
Razor is a phys DPS carry, but both of em act differently.. Xinyan is more of a burst because of how her Burst work.. but mihoyo just wanna broke the character..

@@GReyn I would make her burst scale with Defense instead. That way she still has access to Redhorn.
I'm not sure if you missed this but when you also hold Lisas E the sky becomes purple. It's not the actual skill but it's something you still should include.
I was gonna include the color change for Razor and Lisa in the explanations but they are included in their spots. It's always cool when abilities do it.
Every electro character has it and it feels really in place tbh.
@@infochan6776 can't be carrying the element of the Raiden Shogun and not have the ability to darken the sky on command
Rosarias skill actually has rose vines/thorns in it when it's cast and that's why it's probably one of my favs
As someone who mains Kaeya, I'll admit his skill and burst animation are a bit underwhelming. Though one fun fact about the particle effects for Kaeya: Kaeya is the only one who uses those snow flake shapes, everyone else (Qiqi, Diona, Ganyu etc) have of those more classical snowflake shapes. His snowflakes are also in every cryo character screen.
But that doesn't mean I'll put him a tier higher just for his "special snowflake."
But in other stuff I mostly agree with this tier list.
Kaeya makes up for it by having that drip. His overall design is amazing plus there's nothing wrong with the simplicity of his animations, I may not have ranked them favorably but I still love them.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the "special snowflake" comment. Best thing I've seen on the internet today award goes to you, that made me chuckle.
I like watching these solely to take in the details hidden in all the animations tbh. When you’re running around killing things it’s hard to appreciate the skills fully.
I think one of my favorites has to be xingqiu’s. His backflip is really slick, and I appreciate the water rush that goes with it.
You notice so many things when you watch it over and over and even then you can still miss stuff. It's a shame a lot of the details get lost amongst all the particle effects going on in a real fight but oh well, it's all part of the spectacle!

Im kind of tempted to combine all the 4 tier lists into one big "animation meta chart"! What would be the most "meta" team in this case? I have no idea. Probably feature Barbara.

something i love about sucroses E which is super random and minor is how it leaves a little tiny anemo prism on the floor for a good couple seconds after its used
Damn, somehow I've never noticed how freaking pretty Thoma's skill animation is. I guess I've just been looking at it for like 2 months straight? Good to know my boy winning in style.

For i would have put Lisa & Ningguang on S..
For Ningguang, hers is currently the best Geo Construct design-wise..
For Lisa, all electro characters skill who have cloud changing colour effect, hers is the most visible amongst them.. as you can see in Beidou's, when she uses her skill to strike, the cloud change for a split second, when Lisa is for as long as the hold duration..

Fun fact: if you slow down Rosaria's skill animation, you would see thorns and vines drawn around her polearm movement

I personally really like Chongyuns effects , this could be due to the fact that I’m a Chongyun main but I like the floating ice crystals and stuff.
(I’m not trying it start a fight I’m just sharing MY personal opinion)

Video Idea! Why not rank all shield designs?! The character may not necessarily be a shielder but as long as the character could provide some kind of shield (i.e. Yanfei's c6 shield)

Lisa was robbed, the fact that she changes the entire sky/weather during her held E is easily better than most 4/5 stars.
Love love LOVE the videos, the only thing i would love to see to make the video more accurate for you and everyone is like, stop conparing them to your favorite character. Cause for me, i have itto as one of my favs but each character has unique styles into them and you won't see that if you compare them to itto.

The Ningguang slander 😭 I remember when I joined random co op of low ar player, they thought Ningguang was a 5* because the jade screen looks very majestic. Haha atleast it's not an F though.

I think there is one problem with your tier lists, you are just putting character in A/B/C based on what criteria? I think people are "angry" because there is sth like "oh I guess I will put X in A because why not". It is very inconsistent in my mind, that's all. Still I don't really care because it is only your opinion
Well it's visual animations, some are easy to explain why you like them others aren't. I'm not about to give things a numerical score based on visuals and rank them accordingly because that's an absurdly silly task for something that isn't easily quantifiable. The people that get upset are rarely upset because one character got a rating compared to another, they just get straight up mad that I don't like something they like.

I would suggest next time filming, you can have a friend, or second account, in camera mode to film burst/skills on face value. I think it would give a consistent and stable perspective.

Maybe have three other perspectives too, top view, front, behind? Or something like that.
