We bought a Kona N line for my wife and we loved it so much I picked up a Kona SEL with convince, and both are great vehicles . The Sel is in Cyber Grey and the N Line is in Ecotronic grey pearl.
we're getting a new Kona soon and I'm trying to find the best colour, unfortunately there is no N line available here, I need to go with style (limited) and I don't really like the plastic cladding and the ecotronic grey seem to blend in the best. Could you confirm this as I haven't seen one in person? Thanks!
@m9rkou we have the ecotronic grey but I can't attach a pic on here but our NLine dosent have the black cladding it's all painted the color of the vehicle that whay I really like about the N. I have also a Kona SEL convience, in cosmic gray and the black cladding kinda goes well with it.
I enjoyed your video … although I already bought the limited… I went in to the dealership looking for the SEL Convenience but… I wanted the auto lift gate… and I do like the black trim material better on the limited… there were not many color choices - I got the ecoteric grey pearl … I am loving my new vehicle! I’m not really loving the gas mileage… oh well.
I got the SEL Convenience. Wanted a cloth interior but with heated seats so that's what was available. I wish the upgraded audio was a standalone option because I would have gotten that. Otherwise, I love my car.
In my opinion the trim packages are all wrong. I went with the SEL FWD. 1. Better mpg than the Limited and/or N-Line. It’s not a sports car. 2. I prefer to have the shifter( use as a hand rest and make the buttons more ergonomically accessible). Do not have to move my whole arm. Just my fingers. Try it and you will see what I mean. 3. NO DONUT in the Limited. What happens when the sidewall is damaged? 🤔🤷♂️ 4. Full Front Light Bar illumination should be standard on ALL trims. Not enough to move me from the SEL FWD. 5. With lifetime Bluelink and living in the deep south, heated seats and steering wheel is not needed, even though I do appreciate the heated side mirrors, IMHO BUT, heated seats and LED interior lighting should be in the SEL and above. Again IMHO.
Congrats on your new Kona. Great analysis on comparing trims. I got myself the N Line just because I'm an emotional buyer and the body kit got me 😁I traded-in my 2022 Tucson because I think I got a lemon - this is my 2nd time bringing in that car due to engine issue. You are right, the N Line is actually thirstier than the bigger Tucson. I used to get 34 MPG in the Tucson but only 31 MPG with the N Line - same route and same time of the day. Also, the "lifetime" Bluelink+ was a good surprise to me. Living in Las Vegas - that remote start setting to cold is a wonder during summer!
We have a '24 LTD model. Pros: comfortable, easy exit/entry, not bad pickup. Cons: Poor gas mileage, no memory seats & no spare wheel or power fold mirrors, infotainment system is a nightmare and very complicated to operate!
@@CarsMadeSimple I know that but at that high price it makes no sense to me. We have already had a flat with this car. Hyundai roadside wanted to tow us to the nearest dealer, not to a tire store, which was in another state. Useless! We paid AAA to take us to a tire store 2 miles away. Having had Hyundai's for years, after this fiasco we are done with them.
i got the hyundai kosa sel convenience for $23,240. They made a typo error on the internet and they had no choice but to honor that price!
Great information and video on all these three trims 👍👍
Appreciate it!

@@goochigoochs3836same here for summer in the Deep South. Humidity is a killer. Having a cool vehicle to get in is awesome.
Great vid! Great pacing and details to make a sound decision. Wonder if the N-Line has Ambient lighting?
That is one item added for 2025MY. Ambient lighting on N-Line S and N-Line.
❤❤❤❤. Excellent video. ❤❤❤❤. I have a limited 2024. door frames are crome Sel
are black looks better. I plasti dip door frames black

SEL Convenience
Could any of these vehicles be used for ride sharing services
I would sure think so. They should be large enough for the entry level or compact size vehicle.
Does kona ev 2024 have V2L function?
The Limited trim only does but I have not been able to test it quite yet 🙂

FWD models do not have a spare but AWD models do.
