bruh enough of this '30fps' bullshit.... the game barely dropped frames in general... sometimes just like movies have to stay 30fps and bloodborne utilises that perfectly.... just look at how stale the dodge is in the 60fps version of the game.. whatever but there's one thing that i agree on and that is that it doesn't need a remake
I’ve heard about BB for about 5 years. Never played it, except about 180 hours in the last two months. 🙅🏻♀️. It’s still worth being part of the conversation. Exclusives are fine, but by any measure the PS4 has run it’s life-cycle, and there’s no great reason to keep this a console-exclusive. It’s totally fair for a developer to want their IP to realize its profits, but at what point does it become pointlessly vindictive? Sony is licensing BB for free with PS+ and no one is buying a PS4 in 2023 exclusively for BB, so… As I posted my comment I realized it’s descending into an overwhelming darkness like the Brain of Mensis, so I am both honored and creeped out ….
Bloodborne is like if Miyazaki went into my brain an heart an took out everything that he saw that I thought was crazy cool , interesting an enjoyable an made it into a game
Fr. As soon as I got into the character creator and heard the music I was like "This is exactly the game I've been wanting play/make ever since I was a kid"
Tbf it’s generally accepted that the souls series is one of the greatest game series of all time so being the best game of an already reputable and respected game series goes without saying it’s going to be one of the best games ever.
@realoneleft did you play it? Theres literally a fast travel system. Go up to any lamp, return to the workshop and you can use the headstones to transport to every location in the game
Thank you for making this public plea. If enough of us speak surely SONY will do something.. and I do think they will. Too much money to not be made with a proper re release on ps5 and pc
I've recently replayed bloodborne on my ps5 and I have just gotten to the orphan of Kos and I have just had my love for the game reignited. All I've been doing recently is wishing for more. Sony PLEASE make a remaster
@@a_passing_cloud opposite for me, on PS4 I had frame rate drop/lag a couple times, and it would make my PS4 go really loud too, but that would happen with any game really.
A PS5 release at 60fps would be nominal but it still never stops me from replaying this game. I just introduced my son to Bloodborne to share the elation of such a unique masterpiece. The game will always live on even if Sony never touches it again.
I disagree. Bloodborne had a nearly perfect story, beginning middle and, most importantly, end. A sequel would add nothing and more than likely detract from the original storytelling. I think it should stand alone as a great story to be remembered as it was.
@@ineedeldenring6807 Do they? DS2 and 3 are From's weakest games in this style. They're always at their best when they're working on something fresh. As soon as they're re-treading it seems like they're not really sure how the heck they're supposed to do that. In fact, thematically, DS3 is pretty much *about* From wanting the Dark Souls universe to die. The universe itself is sick of life, sick of the same shit happening over and over again, until everything's just ground up into dust.
Perfect opportunity for a prequel ? Or something similar to "Separate ways" from resident evil 4, where you are experiencing the story from Ada's pov. (I think Metal gear solid did something like that at one point? can't remember) Hey, if not the entirety of a release, I think both of those options would make really cool dlc / expansion. To see and experience how things were before , and to watch as chaos unfolds. To play from the point of view of "our friend" whom first went for blood ministration. Or to fight alongside Gerhman and Papa Guacamole! :D
Elden ring introduced me into the souls genre out of the blue and is by far my favorite game. wanting more i went to bb since it was free on ps. Wow i platinumed it and still playing hours in. the world of bloodborne is amazing and its right up there with elden ring for me. two special games.
I'm so happy to hear that you loved Bloodborne after coming from Elden Ring first, I feared that Bloodborne would be seen as a downgrade by those who were introduced to soul's games through Elden Ring. They're both incredible games.
@@dead_end_alley A buddy of mine refuses to play it after heavy recommendation from myself. He doesn't "go backwards", especially in regards to games. ER was his 1st foray into the series and he won't tolerate a non-open world, more focused combat options, and having to potentially beat his head against the wall (boss fights) to progress the story. I suppose a part of me can see his viewpoint, but I couldn't care less about an open world. It's the atmosphere, combat, and creature design that draws me in to a game! I'll keep working on him. He didn't understand why I tend to prefer special effects (prosthetics) over visual effects (CGI) until he saw a clip from The Thing. If I can help convince him of that, I think I can eventually get him to try out Bloodborne.
@@dead_end_alley I loved both games so much im gonna even play the rest of the souls games starting from demon souls and make my way to sekiro! I must say seeing yourself among other youtubers make souls content and all and grow with the community is awesome. really making me wannt record my playthroughs of the souls game when i do them and make a youtube channel around it and all. keep grinding man!
@@DeathxRider400 I'm like you, I've only played BB and Elden Ring, I've started Dark Souls 1 now, excited to see the rest. I wish I had been a part of this community sooner but thanks to Bloodborne and Elden Ring, I'm in it for life. Do it buddy, I thought making this video was a waste of time when I published it, yet here are so many fans showing support for Bloodborne and my take on it. This community is amazing.
The amount of Bloodborne related recently is incredible. I know fans never let this game die in the first place. But still, there's been so much going on lately and it warms my heart. Bloodborne is not my first Souls, but when I first got my ps4, I knew exactly the game I wanted to play first. This is with no doubt in my top 3 favorite games of all time. I love this masterpiece and I'd love to see Sony giving more love to this geme.
Just finished another BB run 2 days ago. I wanted to wait for the remake (i'm 99,9% sure it will come - i think they'll announce it this year), but i couldn't wait any longer, Yharnam was calling once again. Not gonna lie the 30 fps were rough for the first 30-60 minutes, but then i got used to it. Atleast the PS5 loading times are a lil bit faster than the PS4s. BB may not be my favorite FromSoft game but it's so unique and definitely a masterpiece.
Miyazaki himself has stated that bloodborne was his masterpiece. Elden ring is great definitely deserved GOTY, but Bloodborne is in a whole other class. It’s the best souls game ever made. Even Miyazaki feels the same
Actually no. Miyazaki said that Bloodborne was one of his bigger regrets. He wanted to make it take place in the medieval era, kind of like dark souls. On one of the article he said the victorian attite was too edgy for his taste. That explains the healing church and later sections like Cainhurst. Bloodborne came out perfect as it is. But it’s original vision was something different.
@@Junaed6666wasn’t it mentioned that it was actually his favorite because he got to make the game his way he regretted a lot of decisions like chalice dungeons and bloodgems and wished he could had expanded on them more
Nice clip! Agreed, BB is a masterpiece and hard to believe it hasn't had an upgrade yet or at least be put to pc. BB was also my 1st souls game and was my favorite of all time, then I played DS3 and really liked it, moved on to Sekiro after that, now BB and Sekiro are my 2 top games of all time.
I think the reason this game excels over other souls games is the fact that it leaves you with more questions than awnsers, even if you are a lore maniac like many of us, always wanting more and more insight over this masterfully crafted universe.
And more importantly, it does so while still feeling like FromSoft knows. Like, personally, I *still* like DS1 the best. I think it's the one game From made where you can basically logic your way to recognizing way, waaaay more than what the game directly states, because everything operates on internal logic that stays pretty consistent and lets you extrapolate new ideas. And the attention to detail was insane, down to little things like where Channelers hang out- all places Seath the Scaleless had plenty of reason to keep a watch on. Hell, I actually *resent* Bloodborne for deeply transforming what these games are at their core. But it definitely accomplishes that same level of internal consistency and attention to detail. ...Compare that to DS3, which leaves you wanting LOTS of answers, not because it's intentionally vague but because it was translated horribly. You get all this bizarre shit going on that doesn't mesh with previously established ideas at all, leaving DS3 fans in this annoying, pretentious anti-lore haze where they insist that really nothing in these games means anything (because in the English versions of DS3, yeah, it barely does).
@@colbyboucher6391 I get your point and i agree that DS1 is a phenomenal game, but i just love bloodborne's diegetic aspect of uncovering hidden eldritch truths through the insight mechanic. You as a player get in touch with the weirdness of the cosmos while your character finds new manners of exploring this contact, at some point i found myself digging for new details in the chalice dungeons looking for enlightment. At the same time, BB was my first from game, the esthetics brought me in the first place and i found myself really fond of this "different elements" (that only made sense recently after playing the remaining games). Since then i played Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series but still BB has the most unique appeal among all of them, ER catalysed the "Dark Souls Experience" for me but DS1 is a close favorite too, it's an extremelly cohesive game and after my first playthrough it felt like home to me, just like bloodborne did, but not as personally engaging. If i had jumped in on the series at the first entry, probably DS1 would've been my favorite for all that it accomplishes too.
I agree with this video. I love bloodborne and it's a shame I had to resort to a cloud gaming app on PC just to experience this masterpiece. This is the BEST souls game and it's truly a special game, and the fact that it's not on PC is very criminal. This game needs to be experienced by as many people as possible. a 60fps and a PC port is absolutely necessary
Sonys ego is too big and they cant accept that a game made by a developer not owned by Sony is better than any game that Sony studios made. Thats the only reason I can think of why Sony isnt giving the green light for a Bloodborne 2 or literally any form of Bloodborne content like a remaster/remake. Its free money, people would buy it like crazy and Miyazaki even said himself that its up to Sony. So Sony is the only one to blame here.
I'd believe that if it wasn't for the fact that Death Stranding was a Sony exclusive from a studio that isn't owned by Sony yet Death Stranding has had a post upgrade and a PC release. Knowing that makes the Bloodborne situation much more infuriating.
Bloodborne is the best. I have played them all. I build dungeons just to revisit the feeling of suspense and discovery. Thanks for the video and the treatment of a great game. Peace
I really hope Bloodborne gets ported to PC, but I also hope they keep an option to keep it at 30fps, I've noticed that 60 and higher tends to make me really motion sick even in third-person games like BB.
I wonder if remastering Bloodborne would ruin it a little though, I feel like the graphics are perfect for the feel of the game. I've seen some people make it "higher res" and it looks off.
Ahh, Fromsoft, or some say Sony... Do you hear our prayers? As you once did for the vacuous PlayStation Exclusives, Grant us eyes, grant us eyes! Plant eyes on our brains, to cleanse our beastly idiocy!
One definite way to make a second part to Bloodborne: work with the doors that were locked from part 1. There are also unreachable areas in Bloodborne that can be worked on. Also, keep the original bosses and expand the areas as to give them different connecting areas from the boss arenas. There is so much that can be done with Bloodborne. I was actually let down with Elden Ring.
Has anyone seen the Bloodborne shorts in Unreal Engine 5,,, glorious. Anyway two guys in France release videos and from what I heard Sony has the videos pulled down, maybe they are thinking about it I hope. BTW it was years before the Demon Souls remake. Oh is there a souls game without the frame stutter/freeze almost like hitting a momentary wall?
I remember when I first bought my ps4, I was considering what games to get, watching trailers, etc. I got the Witcher 3, but I kept having dreams about Bloodborne, for days on end; and I didn't really know much about it or the souls series at all. stupid anecdote, but Bloodborne is still my favorite game to this day, and nothing even ultimately comes close. have the platinum for all modern fromsoft titles, and yet I would trade them all away for just a minor framerate update 😢
agreed, really isnt even close the the top for me, tried to love it as much as ER and sekiro, but found it lacking and disappointing in alot of ways when compared to ER especially.
@@flamingmanure why Bloodborne is Way Better than Elden Ring is Because of the Old Video Game Consoles Vibe into it with all the PS4 Graphic stuffs !!! Elden Ring lack off all of that
Why it doesn't have a remaster yet comes down to two options: either Sony doesn't think revisiting Bloodborne can turn a profit and have no plans to remaster -or- Bluepoint are already breaking a sweat giving it the complete remake treatment they gave to Demon's Souls and Sony will release a trailer (later this year?).... We already have so much to look forward to with Elden Ring DLC and AC.. if you're into that kind of thing.
Lack of profit wouldn't be a factor, Sony surely took notice of Elden Ring's success and there's hundreds of people bugging Sony online everyday begging for a Bloodborne re-release or 60fps patch. As much as I'd love a Bluepoint Demon Soul's treatment I think Bloodborne is still gorgeous (the lighting is a bit bland but artstyle is top notch). And with how Bluepoint is hinting at their new 2 games, one being an original game, the other being a remaster, the way they worded it made it so unlikely that it's Bloodborne. Oh yes can't wait for that Elden Ring DLC, never played Armoured Core.
I'm playing games from mid 90s. Silent Hill 1 and Bloodborne are my favorite games of all times. Diablo 1 in top 3 probably. I think it will be a remster or something.
I was introduced to the souls series through ER then i played sekiro and a little bit of DSr and i was like yeah ER is the best game ever nothing can beat it untill i played Bloodborne and i must say it was perfect. It jas to come to pc one day it has pls sony give is our bloodborne😢
I hope that it gets revisited after Fromsoft finishes up the Elden Ring DLC and the new Armored Core game they announced. I wonder if it will get a remaster in light of its 10th or 9th anniversary.
That would be sweet, a 10th anniversary re-release, I'm just not sure if they would have enough time in 2 years with their other massive projects going on.
Fromsoft can do so much with Bloodborne that can be imagined. Or, even taking a walk back in time before the city became the way it is. There is a back story with every single spot that you encounter.
Bloodborne is the only fromsoft game i am scared of going into ng+. But i make a ng char for any weapon i want to try. I never thought there was a game that enthralled me to play and scared me enough to not play.
I've felt so starved for Bloodborne content these past few years that I eventually made my own Bloodborne inspired horror audio drama. It's called Hex Noir and it features gothic and cosmic horror, blood magic and evil nobles. If y'all like Bloodborne as much as I do, mayhaps you might wanna give it a listen. #shamelessselfpromotion I do wholeheartedly agree with this video though. The fact we haven't even gotten a performance patch or something greater is baffling. We need more Bloodborne content!
Id be more than Happy with a remake. Years are passing and BB has never been perfect (still my favourite Game). I don't think anybody would complain about: - A slight graphic update (HQ textures, 60fps, upgraded environmental effects akin to the alpha, fixed clothing glitches). -A rework of the chalice dungeons (they can keep the random ones if you want, but olease design 5 distinct dungeons with distinct content only). -A rework of the online system (perhaps taking notes of how the invasion system worked in DS3 and further developing the idea of rival factions: the Powderkegs could invade in old Yharnam, whilst the Vilebloods could invade in Cainhurst, whilst the Confederates and Executioners counter-invade them, lastly the Hunters of Hunters get to regularly invade anyone who engages invasions, without the need of a "Bell lady".) - Allowing players to rest at lamps and travel between them. - Replenishable Blood vials Id happily pay the 70$
I would welcome a remake if it was made by FromSoft themselves. I don't want another company that arrogantly changes the art direction and fucks up the game's aesthetics and atmosphere.
FromSoftware have no experience in the remake department even their so-called "remaster" was just the pc version being ported, thankfully they have no say over such a thing
@@MaidenlessScrub Bandai Namco went the cheap outsource route hence the pc port being labeled a remaster, considering SIE own Bloodborne only they can choose who remakes it
Simple next gen patch would be amazing. Although the sound quality is rather low as well. A remaster would be better. Don’t know about a remake. It could do more harm than good. But anything like a patch, remaster, remake or a sequel/prequel would be amazing. #giefbloodborne
Thank you for this love letter too the best of Fromsoft, truly a master piece. I too feel like there’s something missing in ER, I hope more people play BB and it gets something more, even if just a 60fps patch.
Bloodborne does not need a sequel, it is done, miyazaki already told the story he wanted to tell, a deep and interesting allegory about medical practices of the victorian era (see charred thermos on yt for more info). The best we'll get in a sequel is another ds2 situation where the "soul" of the series just isn't there because miyazaki likely wont be interested and has already moved on. A 60fps version would be nice though.
Focusing on the fps is not something I can relate. Never felt like it was an issue while playing this (or any) game. I excperienced 60 fps in some new PS5 games, and it looks nice and all, but it never lasts for long. But yeah, the game is a masterpiece and everybody deserves to play it.
Bloodborne is the only souls game I haven't played, and would probably be my favorite because I like that faster pace more than the regular souls formula
I would love it to get the Bluepoint Demon's Souls remake treatment. But I would settle for a straight up remaster. It just needs to come back in some way.
as much i want this game on pc i know sony may never gonna port this to pc or worst case they remake it, our best hope to preserve this game is via emulation at this point now for me bloodborne and dark souls 3 is truly art game and needed to be preserve if ds3 was also a ps exclusive fan maybe begged for that game to.
People should not want Bloodborne 2. They did not know they wanted Bloodborne before it came out. Let Fromsoft make something new we never knew we wanted.
It's almost been 10 years since Bloodborne came out, so the only thing I see them doing is doing a remake, or remaster similar to either Demon Souls Remake, or Dark Souls remastered with a pc port.
Idk what it is about bloodborne truly i dont, but i keep coming back to this game often throughout the years, i beat all other souls games n its just something about bloodborne that i just love. The weapons the atmosphere the sidestepping man its just so fuckin STYLISH!!!!!!!
Yes we need a remaster or a PC port, but what I want even more is a sequel that is in the style of Elden RIng, a truly epic gothic open world that sprawls as far as the eye can see. Hopefully they make this a reality
That is the theory me and my partner have. They couldn't realistically do much with a sequel as is, but if they gave us a HUGE sprawling city to explore, with all the churches, guilds, undergrounds, ruins and regions of Yharnam and the surroundings, so that there's old things but also many new ones, that would be phenomenal.
What were the sales like? I don't remember Bloodborne getting much hype around its release. Maybe Sony just doesn't see the business case for remaking/mastering it.
I recently played Bloodborne fully through for the first time after playing Elden Ring, I played all the Souls games before Elden Ring, so I really wanted to experience the greatness I hear so many people talk about. For me, I think we should stop crying for a 60 FPS version or whatnot. The game is great as is, I think they’re waiting until the hype truly dies out and then they’re gonna reignite it when everyone loses hope. But even if it never even gets a patch for ps5, the game is still amazing, yes the frames aren’t perfect, but the game arguably is. So let’s just enjoy it, the day will come when we get what we want. But for now, a hunter must hunt, so go kill a few beasts, you’ll get used to it. 😉
I doubt Bloodbourne will get anything of the sort until PS4 begins to get workable emulation. Look what they've done to Demon's Souls, the original (and best) Souls game. It was all but forgotten until the execrable Bluepoint remake. The original version IS forgotten- by From, and by Souls fans, who were mostly raised without ever knowing it in the first place.
as sad as it is to say, Bloodborne may never come to PC as it is owned by Sony and not our God Mr. Miyazaki, we will need all the luck in the world if we want this dream to come true
sony owns bloodborne and they also own blue point. if sony did their sales study, they should know bloodborne remake will be a success, easily sells 2 million copies within 3 months and thats for a remake so it blows my mind why won't get started on the remake by now
it is still my favourite game and when i had access to a ps4 again, the first i bought as i knew it was to be. agree so much with this video. just give us anything.
Just had another playthrough very recently and this is after I played Dark Souls 1-3 and Elden Ring, I was still absolutely blown away by Bloodborne and it has become my 3rd favourite game ever. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 😌
@@dead_end_alley gladly, it was on the recommended side and yeah cant resist such message. btw had the same feel with Elden Ring. it is great, but not entirely reaches it. what 2 games are above Bloodborne than? :o
Elden Ring will always be fantastic but yeah it never quite reached the impact Bloodborne had on me. 😍 Red Dead Redemption 1 is my second favourite game and Metal Gear Solid 1 is my favourite. I wouldn't put any of the three above one another, I love them all for different reasons 😌
I want to mention this because I believe it is crucial to discussion such as these. Bias plays no factor. Why? Because none of us can be biased towards Bloodborne. Bias implies a subjective allure to something based not in experience of it per se but involvement through external factors. If I am biased, it means that no matter how something else is, I will disregard it due to my allegiance to the original thing which I am biased towards. With video games, you cannot really be biased. If I play Bloodborne, then the other games, and I do so multiple times and eventually conclude Bloodborne is my favorite, that’s not bias. It’s simply reasoning and analysis of my enjoyment. Bias would only be present if I say, worked on the game or was paid to devote my life to its very existence :o if an external factor made me favor the game rather than the game itself.
True indeed only a slew of games deserves to be remade and Boodborne is truly one of them. The true king of horror games Dead Space is another in that few select lists.
Only if there was a way for us to all come together! Clearly from soft isn’t hearing us! To be honest I’m excited about Amor core but let’s be honest! How many of us asked for that!!!! Bloodborne does not need a remake but a sequel! Sony doesn’t deserve to keep this from us! Bloodborne was the first ever game to make clench at my seat the way I did! Only game ever to make me want to cry as a grown man! Only game to ever make me feel absolute horror and beauty mixed into one ☝️ a absolute masterpiece and possibly the greatest game ever made
Considering Sony Interactive Entertainment literally co-developed not to mention funded Bloodborne / Demon's Souls as well as being the entire reason the souls like genre even exists in the first place I say they deserve to do what they want with their own IP
Sony quite literally bought Fromsoft and proceeded to just throw BB in the back of the closet for no reason. I think at this point if you mention it, you just get fired on the spot. Like I genuinely want to know why they haven’t done anything with it at all, god knows they’ve baited the fans enough.
Bloodborne will allways be the number one From Software game for me. Not even Elden Ring or any souls game cu can give me the action that bloodborne did.
Honestly i respect Fromsoft for not making a PS5 update for Bloodborne, i didn't get Elden Ring, because it didn't appeal to me. I much rather have From make a sequel to Bloodborne! It's a gorgeous game even in 30 fps. Personally my first Soulsborne game is the much hated DS2, which i still love! I know it has problems, but it made DS1 sooo damn easy for me. Nostalgia is a thing that grips us on to things and you've got to let go. Bloodborne is honestly my favorite in the series, and i always cherish it! Let go of the feeling that it will get a PS5/PC port. My fave game of all time is Red Dead Redemption, the 2nd one i've played about 33 times now from start to finish. As much as i want to have a Undead Nightmate in the RDR2, i'm glad they didn't! I more wished for a RDR1 DLC!
This has now got to be the best RUclipsr I have ever seen after watching this video and the only thing I have heard is facts. Bloodborne is by far there best game and one of the best games ever made and that I have ever played. I would love to see the return of the Hunters.
how lmao, its an open world game, not everyone likes riding around on a horse for several hours and dying to fall damage. it is a good game and it is the most diverse souls game, but it does have its flaws. "objectively" speaking then Sekiro is the best souls game, the only way to get stronger is beat the boss, and if you can't handle the combat system then 'objectively' speaking DS3 is the best souls game
Bloodborne and demon souls are the only souls games ive never played and I only got a PC :(. It looks fucking insaneeeeeeeeeee and ive been praying for a port of Bloodborne :( . (also hopefully ghost of tshushima comes to PC too :D )
If your computer is powerful enough, you can emulate PS3 Demon's Souls with a 60fps mod. There's also texture and other cool mods. Like making it so you can teleport between "bonfires" instead of having to warp back to the hub to warp back out.
I have about 355 hours in Bloodborne it’s absolutely worth it to get a ps4 just to play bloodborne. As for GoT it’s definitely best on PS5 and that’s one that’s more likely to get a PC port unfortunately. They both deserve it
Finished watching the video, and I agree 100% I've had many a conversation, Not* about Elden VS BB. not comparing. Yet, noting the feeling of "emptiness" (for lack of better wording) that left my friends and I going back to play bloodborne after achieving the platinum in Elden Ring. Demon souls, Dark souls? Uninstalled after a few runs and the 100% percent.. But Bloodborne I returned to for a solid month of runs until character select was full. Having already achieved the platinum in Bloodborne, I thought I would never relive the nightmare. Never to return, and to be left with only fond memories of surviving one of the toughest challenges that left me a busted HDD (long story lol) and a broken controller.. and I would do it all again. My selfish / Greedy side wants a full remake (although like you said, that isn't necessary) Complete with dlc included and even a few new things here or there (maybe some rng encounters, a small second expansion) I always thought it would be really cool to see what it would be like before; a Prequel if you will. Wherein the scourge began and how the "factions" / Groups came to be, so on and so forth. This is the only video game that has inspired me to read (hp lovecraft), watch movies that its based off of (I hardly ever watch movies), and even dress up in 1800s Victorian fashion just to play piano in my room (lol) I'll never forget buying my first copy of bloodborne back in 2015. Digging through the discount bin at gamestop. The best five dollars I had ever spent in my life. "Is this game any good? looks new.." "Yea I heard its kinda hard and pretty weird!" "Sold!"
Not really your so called "moneymaker" barely sold 2 million copies after months of release, meanwhile their actual moneymakers sell that or more within days or weeks from launch
Yes remarks are cool and all but how about actually giving Bloodborne new content with a sequel? It is literally garanteed to be a success. There is so much art of how a Sequel could look like
That means nothing because Fromsoft aren't needed for a remaster or 60fps patch, Sony could get anyone for the job. Plus I'm not big on the idea of Bloodborne 2 despite my obsession with the first

@realoneleft did you play it? Theres literally a fast travel system. Go up to any lamp, return to the workshop and you can use the headstones to transport to every location in the game
Amen
Thank you for making this public plea. If enough of us speak surely SONY will do something.. and I do think they will. Too much money to not be made with a proper re release on ps5 and pc
I've recently replayed bloodborne on my ps5 and I have just gotten to the orphan of Kos and I have just had my love for the game reignited. All I've been doing recently is wishing for more.
Sony PLEASE make a remaster
Kosssssss kosmm
I have like 700 hours on PS4, but I just feel like the game looks HORRIBLE on PS5 and my 4K tv…and that sucks because I LOVE this game.
The game will always live on even if Sony never touches it again.
good dad, thank you ❤
"But i dont NEED a Bloodborne Remake/Remaster! What i need.."
*Comes closer to whisper in your ear*
"...is Bloodborne 2."
I disagree. Bloodborne had a nearly perfect story, beginning middle and, most importantly, end. A sequel would add nothing and more than likely detract from the original storytelling. I think it should stand alone as a great story to be remembered as it was.
@@Lord_necromancer you underestimate fromsoftware creativity
@@Lord_necromancer Loran prequel on desertic setting would be interesting
(I think Metal gear solid did something like that at one point? can't remember)
Hey, if not the entirety of a release, I think both of those options would make really cool dlc / expansion.
Wait til you play Dark Souls 2
But it’s original vision was something different.
...and if I remember correctly he said that Eldenring was the closest to the game he always wanted to create.
This
I agree with this video.
Sony does own 15% of fromsoft along with tencent
I'd believe that if it wasn't for the fact that Death Stranding was a Sony exclusive from a studio that isn't owned by Sony yet Death Stranding has had a post upgrade and a PC release. Knowing that makes the Bloodborne situation much more infuriating.
@@dead_end_alley True I somehow forgot about Death Stranding. I really dont know then...
It will happen in 2047.
If it does get a PC port you’d be able to set it to whatever framerate you like, just like almost any other game on PC
@realoneleft My nigga.
I wonder if remastering Bloodborne would ruin it a little though, I feel like the graphics are perfect for the feel of the game. I've seen some people make it "higher res" and it looks off.
Ahh, Fromsoft, or some say Sony...
Do you hear our prayers?
As you once did for the vacuous PlayStation Exclusives,
Grant us eyes, grant us eyes!
Plant eyes on our brains, to cleanse our beastly idiocy!
Oooooo HOOO HOOOOO A Sony Pony is majestic
LMAO love this comment !
If we don't get a PC port then we should at least get a remaster or a sequel
A new Jet Set Radio game got leaked before anything new on Bloodborne, think about that for a second
The thing that pulls me to bloodborne is all of the screeches from all of the beasts. The game completely plays different without it
I remember when I first bought my ps4, I was considering what games to get, watching trailers, etc.
Bloodborne is that which singlehandedly delivered on the promise "Greatness Awaits"
Great video, Bloodborne is not my favourite souls game but I believe it must be made available for everyone. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot for stopping by mate
agreed, really isnt even close the the top for me, tried to love it as much as ER and sekiro, but found it lacking and disappointing in alot of ways when compared to ER especially.
It's the eldritch truth that none of us can unsee: Sony doesn't care, and Miyazaki's hands are tied.
0:34 got me rolling on the floor lmao
I'm playing games from mid 90s. Silent Hill 1 and Bloodborne are my favorite games of all times. Diablo 1 in top 3 probably. I think it will be a remster or something.
I was introduced to the souls series through ER then i played sekiro and a little bit of DSr and i was like yeah ER is the best game ever nothing can beat it untill i played Bloodborne and i must say it was perfect. It jas to come to pc one day it has pls sony give is our bloodborne😢
You might want to check out Dark Souls 3 as well. DS1 and 2 play a little slower. 3/Bloodborne/Elden Ring are all basically the same speed.
I hope that it gets revisited after Fromsoft finishes up the Elden Ring DLC and the new Armored Core game they announced. I wonder if it will get a remaster in light of its 10th or 9th anniversary.
My theory is that BB 2 will get announced on it's 10th year anniversary. Or a Remake.
That would be sweet, a 10th anniversary re-release, I'm just not sure if they would have enough time in 2 years with their other massive projects going on.
The frame skipping KILLS this game for me. I want nothing more than a solid 60FPS on PC.
Fromsoft can do so much with Bloodborne that can be imagined. Or, even taking a walk back in time before the city became the way it is. There is a back story with every single spot that you encounter.
Hopefully one day, hopefully
Bloodborne is the only fromsoft game i am scared of going into ng+.
But i make a ng char for any weapon i want to try. I never thought there was a game that enthralled me to play and scared me enough to not play.
The super aggressive enemies and horror-like atmosphere add a lot to that fear, I feel the same when I NG+
Ng+ without dlc is doable, I did start a new play through for dlc though.
#shamelessselfpromotion
I do wholeheartedly agree with this video though. The fact we haven't even gotten a performance patch or something greater is baffling. We need more Bloodborne content!
I'd rather not have someone remake Bloodborne than turn into something like the Demons Souls remake.
Id be more than Happy with a remake.
Years are passing and BB has never been perfect (still my favourite Game).
I don't think anybody would complain about:
- A slight graphic update (HQ textures, 60fps, upgraded environmental effects akin to the alpha, fixed clothing glitches).
-A rework of the chalice dungeons (they can keep the random ones if you want, but olease design 5 distinct dungeons with distinct content only).
-A rework of the online system (perhaps taking notes of how the invasion system worked in DS3 and further developing the idea of rival factions: the Powderkegs could invade in old Yharnam, whilst the Vilebloods could invade in Cainhurst, whilst the Confederates and Executioners counter-invade them, lastly the Hunters of Hunters get to regularly invade anyone who engages invasions, without the need of a "Bell lady".)
- Allowing players to rest at lamps and travel between them.
- Replenishable Blood vials
Id happily pay the 70$
Thanks youtube to Show me this Video found a New good youtuber :)
@@bamban_garcia5562 then that remake should not exist all together instead of a bastardised version of the game
It pains me to say but Bloodborne is finished. I wanted to play this game for years, but last year i realized that it will never get ported to PC.
Blood borne is legendary. PC remaster would be the highlight of my entire gaming life more than likely.
Focusing on the fps is not something I can relate. Never felt like it was an issue while playing this (or any) game. I excperienced 60 fps in some new PS5 games, and it looks nice and all, but it never lasts for long.
But yeah, the game is a masterpiece and everybody deserves to play it.
Honestly the game is still amazing, you see everything went really bad since you get up.Sadly we’re not going to see remastered or BB 2
My Steam Deck needs this....
Bloodborne is the only souls game I haven't played, and would probably be my favorite because I like that faster pace more than the regular souls formula
Sony out here like "free money? Nah i don't feel like it"
"Preserving art and earning easy money for little funding? nah I'll pass lol" - Sony
I would love it to get the Bluepoint Demon's Souls remake treatment. But I would settle for a straight up remaster. It just needs to come back in some way.
Imagine Bllodborne but the city is fully explorable like ER
I agree tho. 60fps would be a game changer
as much i want this game on pc i know sony may never gonna port this to pc or worst case they remake it, our best hope to preserve this game is via emulation at this point now
for me bloodborne and dark souls 3 is truly art game and needed to be preserve if ds3 was also a ps exclusive fan maybe begged for that game to.
People should not want Bloodborne 2. They did not know they wanted Bloodborne before it came out. Let Fromsoft make something new we never knew we wanted.
100%
It's almost been 10 years since Bloodborne came out, so the only thing I see them doing is doing a remake, or remaster similar to either Demon Souls Remake, or Dark Souls remastered with a pc port.
Idk what it is about bloodborne truly i dont, but i keep coming back to this game often throughout the years, i beat all other souls games n its just something about bloodborne that i just love. The weapons the atmosphere the sidestepping man its just so fuckin STYLISH!!!!!!!
Just pray they unlock the FPS, they did it with DS3, just do it with this too
...They didn't do it with DS3 though? It's locked at 60 on PC.
SONY, Fromsoftware, it's a bad behaviour not to continue or remake Bloodborne. Make it. Do it!
I am convinced Sony simply doesn't like money...but
Absolutely agree 👍
Man I miss Bloodborne
Yes we need a remaster or a PC port, but what I want even more is a sequel that is in the style of Elden RIng, a truly epic gothic open world that sprawls as far as the eye can see. Hopefully they make this a reality
That is the theory me and my partner have. They couldn't realistically do much with a sequel as is, but if they gave us a HUGE sprawling city to explore, with all the churches, guilds, undergrounds, ruins and regions of Yharnam and the surroundings, so that there's old things but also many new ones, that would be phenomenal.
Open world sucks...Please no
It needs an Elden Ring port.
It's a sad state of affairs, truly 😢
It's probably the closest game to what I would call a true masterpiece and it's a fucking tragedy that it's stuck on ps4 only.
What were the sales like? I don't remember Bloodborne getting much hype around its release. Maybe Sony just doesn't see the business case for remaking/mastering it.
It's weird for a money grab addict like sony to not capitalize on remaking/remastering bloodborne.
Red Dead Redemption 1 is my second favourite game and Metal Gear Solid 1 is my favourite.
Arguably the best souls game? Not having that, by far the best souls game, arguably the greatest game ever made.
Sony did not buy Fromsoft. They bought stake in the company, but so did Tencent, so by your logic, Tencent owns Fromsoft. Kadokawa owns Fromsoft.
The only way to top elden rings release is going to be with bloodborne 2
Best youtuber? I've got a long way to go to be even close to that but I appreciate the compliment anyway. Thanks a lot 😁
Objectively speaking, Elden Ring IS the best Souls game. That said, Bloodborne does need to be made available to the masses.
Amen partner
How is it objectively the best?
how lmao, its an open world game, not everyone likes riding around on a horse for several hours and dying to fall damage. it is a good game and it is the most diverse souls game, but it does have its flaws.
Buy a ps4 and play it. Bloodborne is easily worth $200 of gameplay.
They both deserve it
@@naterod wish I could afford a ps5 😢
I 110% ageee, Elden Ring is rockin but there is that one Ingredient missing, like you said..
*hears: "Missing ingredient ... bloodborne" > Instantly likes video ^_^
Finished watching the video, and I agree 100%
I've had many a conversation, Not* about Elden VS BB. not comparing.
My selfish / Greedy side wants a full remake (although like you said, that isn't necessary) Complete with dlc included and even a few new things here or there (maybe some rng encounters, a small second expansion)
I always thought it would be really cool to see what it would be like before; a Prequel if you will. Wherein the scourge began and how the "factions" / Groups came to be, so on and so forth.
This is the only video game that has inspired me to read (hp lovecraft), watch movies that its based off of (I hardly ever watch movies), and even dress up in 1800s Victorian fashion just to play piano in my room (lol)
I'll never forget buying my first copy of bloodborne back in 2015. Digging through the discount bin at gamestop. The best five dollars I had ever spent in my life.
"Is this game any good? looks new.."
"Yea I heard its kinda hard and pretty weird!"
"Sold!"
Yes
TRUE BRO
It’s so annoying how stingy Sony is. They are literally sitting on a possible moneymaker.
Not really your so called "moneymaker" barely sold 2 million copies after months of release, meanwhile their actual moneymakers sell that or more within days or weeks from launch
Timesplitters 😊
A man of culture I see 👍 ☺️
I love Bloodborne!
OH ENOUGH WITH THE PC PORT, WE NEED MORE. SIMPLE AS.
Great vid bro would like 10x if i could!!
The fact you liked at all, made my day. Thanks feller.
"Beautiful pc port "HAHAHAHHA
Yes remarks are cool and all but how about actually giving Bloodborne new content with a sequel? It is literally garanteed to be a success. There is so much art of how a Sequel could look like
60 fps remaster would be nice but other than that leave it. Everyone else would just bitch about a remake like demons souls.
>bloodborne first souls game
>bloodborne having to convince you souls games werent a fluke
💀💀💀
My theory is that BB was to dark and obvious in its criticism of Christianity, so now Sony will never release anything to do with the IP
Sony literally funded the game.
Sony Interactive Entertainment funded not to mention co-developed Bloodborne
Cause Sony owes the rights the game not from software that's why we also don't have bloodborne 2
That means nothing because Fromsoft aren't needed for a remaster or 60fps patch, Sony could get anyone for the job. Plus I'm not big on the idea of Bloodborne 2 despite my obsession with the first
