Fall Series 2016: Republic Services 2225

- First of off, yes I know it's 2017, but I have two videos I carried over from the week of Thanksgiving. In this video we have Phil running 2225 on his Tuesday B Week route while 2270 was down. He has since gotten truck 2266, a brand new LEU/Merridian Curotto that he loves. The Curotto really makes it a lot easier on him and allows him to get done a lot earlier. I have a video of that truck on post-Christmas recycle that you will see before too long.
It sounds like 2205 is done, so this is the last LE Curotto they have left. They are supposed to be getting several CNG trucks this year, so it's hard to see this one around much longer either. As always, a big thanks to Phil for making this video possible!

Fantastic video. Loved how hard the driver revved this truck. Really sped the arm up too. Flipped lids pretty fast actually. As always great to see more of these 60 M series featured. Overall really great video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this

have, the lid flips sorta come naturally with it. Glad you like the 60
gal M series because they will be probably 75% of my videos over the
next two months or so, it's what the cool trucks always end up on

Yeah this truck is known for flipping lids, even some of the
guys who don't usually flip end up doing it with this truck because it does it
naturally... It makes for a nice touch to the video so I'm not complaining!
Yeah they are showing age, they have been trying to get rid of this one for
probably 5 years now but are so short they just can't. As far as that incident,
that was a lady who felt the need to come down, cut him off, and make a scene
because he left some jeans that she put in the recycle... People are crazy out
here haha

Kinda scared me at 8:57 when that guy stopped so suddenly. I doubt someone was that worried about trash pickup lol. Great video. Enjoyed the cart variety, mix of both style recycle carts. Overall great video.
Haha some lady was all bent out of shape that he left some jeans... yes she had jeans in the recycle and was mad at him. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the kind words! I was glad I was able to sneak a couple of the older style recycle carts in here.

Great job as always. Its really sad to see these old Mack LEU go away. I think for your area they have represented a whole era of the refuse industry plus they are just hardcore garbage trucks. Of course the brown/white/yellow paint scheme has long been a favorite of mine next to the old AW logo blues with Republic and even thats gone away too. Its good progress for the drivers like Phil here to get new modern units though. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks man! These are actually LE's, they are being replaced by LEU's. They are great trucks for sure! I'm with you, I will miss the brown/white and brown/white/yellow trucks
rws676 yeah my mistake with that. I still get confused sometimes with all the different models. Do you think the Curottos will continue to be used more instead of buying new ASLs in your area?
No problem! I think we will see a lot more Curottos for sure.

Awesome video cool carts. I love watching Phil he's a pro. What happened at 8:57 I don't understand, that guy just drove by very fast and honked at Phil then they both got out, weird.
