Summer Series 2016: Republic Services 2229

Here we have truck 2229 collecting recycling in the City of Hudson. It has been almost 3 years since I last filmed this truck, so I was happy to finally catch up with it again. I'm not exactly sure why, but it's always been one of my favorite trucks in the fleet. Functionality wise, it runs great too- I would say it might the the best Resi Front they have. I know a few of you have requested semi-auto footage with a Resi Front, so I hope you guys enjoy this video! You'll notice a brief cameo by a Mini Freightliner/ Wayne REL that was also working in the area, I would have liked to film it but the company's stops were way too scattered for it to be worthwhile. You'll notice the video features the New SSI 65 Gallon M Series carts, this was the first day that I had seen them, and ironically enough, the day mine was delivered. I have to say, they look pretty good with the light blue lids. The normal driver was off, so one of the swing drivers I film all the time was covering the route. A big thanks to him for letting me film!

Awesome video. Definitely been waiting a minute for this one haha I very much enjoyed seeing all these carts tipped. Love those bayne tippers. Speaking of carts, those M series look great. So cool to finally see them after years of anticipation. They resemble cascades so much but they still have that classic m series design. Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I'm sure it's not gonna be the first time that I watch it lol

Great video! Those 65s look awesome! Can't imagine seeing how cool it would be to see them collected with a python. Looks like those are wider than the B series 65s.

Please, by all means, send me a few of those 64s. I absolutely love the color combo of those. Nice to see some Semi Auto from you, although it does suck that they're getting rid of manual recycle. Great truck too, sounds just like the AW Mack that I filmed around here. And that Wayne RL looks cool, now that you showed a little teaser you'll be obligated to at least film a clip for us ;)

Haha they look great... sure you will start seeing them from Republic before long, I know Erie already has some. Yeah It was nice to see this after a ton of Curottos and Pythons, but I will miss seeing the bin routes as well. Yeah Like I said idk why but this has always been one of my favorite trucks since they got it. Haha I'll see what I can do on the Wayne

Cool! You should do a cart update. Those 64 gal m series are very cool, I have some mini bins and I have to say they are EXACTLY alike. What's up with pink crate at 1:30? Nice BFI crates and cart at 2:35. Cool truck. I love the scenic rural route as always!

Thanks! I'll consider it haha. Yeah so far I really like the 64g m series. Not exactly sure, but I know the pink crate was used by a small local hauler. I was super happy to get those BFI bins on film. I like this truck as well, and agree the scenery made for a better video
