The civic centre was closed because of the state of disrepair it fell into under the marshall labour lot. They had funding to fix the place up but it never happened. The whole place is going the dogs and noone is willing to do anything.

Grew up in south Stanley moved away in 2008, glad some development has happened, but could do with some development in the front street
