can you explain why svelte overtook react on npmtrends currently it is showing 2.8 million weekly downloads compared to react's 1.6 million weekly downloads
You could make a simple website using sveltekit and immediately get a >90 lighthouse score without any optimization. I dont see any competitions rn, svelte destroyed react already
please stop advertising "has its own state management and does not need 3rd party tools" as a good thing. what makes react a good framework IS not presenting its own opinion on every topic and letting the community produce solutions so we'd have more of different opinions
@@codeupdate well sure, but again I think that comes down to personal preference and I don't think it is healthy to include it in a video that will probably be watched by some new starter devs and mislead them
I do all my personal projects on Svelte, by far the best experience I've had writing frontend web apps
Coming from Angular I can agree haha
A very useful lesson for all aspiring softians
Also are you using the Mac or PC version?
I just picked it up and I frickin love it

Good idea.
Because React just complicate things fot no reason
yes, future is SVELTE
i've never seen one production svelte application in my life.
I'm sure that's gonna change soon

@@wentallout weird, i am using nextjs for 3 yrs now and i got 96 to 100 score. speed is not the only factor to jump ship.
@@archmad well I only use Svelte because it has simple syntax instead of complicated boilerplate like other frameworks
I use svelte in production for 2 projects… so
wow today svelte has 1 million downloads per day. That is impressive how it is growing i think i will stick to it also
I heard solid js merged svelte and react functionalities and it's better than both. what's your take on that?
SolidJs is beautiful especially if you still prefer to move on with JSX and some react-like syntax.
Never tried solid js, but it looks interesting I will check it out and maybe make a video.
@@codeupdate I have :) I actually have a few videos about it :)
dont like react syntax, useFunction everywhere
Svelte is the best!
you can do what you want!
That will forever be a problem
Still a fan of Quasar + Vue

I can kinda agree with you. But sometimes it's just better to not have to download 3rd party or community tools.

@@adnanjpg That's literally why it is a good thing for starter devs. Opinionated is easier and usually better for noobies
i am the opposite lol
Svelte is the best
