Hold on, no framework ? So is there like a django equivalent on rust or are you simply using rust as a back-end and making the front-end in native html/css/js ?
No UI framework like React, but I am using a django equivalent on Rust to create the webserver, it is called Actix web. So I have a Rust backend and I render the html/css/js on the server. The js is very minimal since it is just a few functions and the htmx library.

Good idea.
Because React just complicate things fot no reason
VS Code is good with extensions, it gives closer IDE experience than other code editors. But my favorite is Eclipse IDE's. They're just awesome.
Never tried eclipse but I heard some good things about it.
Everything you've mentioned (except plugins) is better in Jetbrains' IDEs
Tried pyCharm and it's awesome but I always come back to VS code for small projects. Mainly because of the extensions.

My #1 framework to use right now is SvelteKit. I hate React's syntax so I can't be bothered with Next.

please stop advertising "has its own state management and does not need 3rd party tools" as a good thing. what makes react a good framework IS not presenting its own opinion on every topic and letting the community produce solutions so we'd have more of different opinions
I can kinda agree with you. But sometimes it's just better to not have to download 3rd party or community tools.
@@codeupdate well sure, but again I think that comes down to personal preference and I don't think it is healthy to include it in a video that will probably be watched by some new starter devs and mislead them

I heard solid js merged svelte and react functionalities and it's better than both. what's your take on that?
SolidJs is beautiful especially if you still prefer to move on with JSX and some react-like syntax.
Never tried solid js, but it looks interesting I will check it out and maybe make a video.
