It started at verse from kendrick on "control" a song he got with big sean, were he mentioned all the rappers from his era, like j cole, drake, Tyler, and others, the rappers that he mentioned on that verse took it as a sport tipe of diss, so literally non of them responded back.... But drake, who is so sensible (as we can see) that literally took it personally. So from that day drake started throwing indirecta at K Dot, while K Dot, did the same on many songs. But all started at "first person shooter" song with Drake and J cole, where j cole mentioned something about the big 3. And that's when Kendrick jumped on like that.
So technically u can say Kendrick started it with the control verse, but it was more of a sport type of sht, not like a diss diss, but drake is the one who took it personal, and started all the beef that he is crying about now, 😂

Drake clearly refuses to understand that he's not only lost the beef, but he clearly only thinks that the numbers favor him, solely because all he does is be on socials (while it's well known Kendrick does things his way, as he should).
Drake's ego won't allow him to admit the truth. And his only course of action is to not only fail to properly respond to what was said in the beef, but also to *amplify* everything said in the beef because he lost. If Drake didn't lose so badly he wouldn't be suing. He's trying to get Not Like Us taken off streaming and not performed at the Super Bowl. He's still the #1 streamed artists, hasn't lost any deals so this legal move will go nowhere. If he wins and the UMG has to expose payments and bots well they would release what they did for Drake in that manner also. The stuff Drake is trying to sue for is standard promotion. Of course labels are gonna put money into a song. Drake wants the label to censor, shelve and remove songs.
