The best quality disassemble/assemble video I've seen on YT good job mate!! :)
Thank you :)
Fantastic filming and instructions, thank you for this valuable demonstration. Just finished mine thanks to your help.
Thank you, i appreciate the feedback :)

Side note, I believe when disconnecting the battery terminals, negative (black) should be pulled first then positive (red). When reconnecting the battery terminals, positive (red) should be connected first, then negative (black).
@@Andrew.Chiu.360 Thank you for the information !
I tried this process three weeks ago same tire... I ended up exhausted with a puncture tube... Realized that the stock tire is not as bad as what people say and have learned to enjoy it. great video love all the detail.
Thank you, patience and taking time is key, stock tire is not so bad but i really want to try the Michelin, and it seems that i'll be able to even make it tubeless by looking at the rim bead
@@MathieuTechMoto Patience for sure. Think i smoked a pack through the whole process lol. Going tubeless would make tire changes so much easier. I can not wait to see what the process is like i may just try it out myself..
@@mangu768 Be sure to subscribe, just received the tubeless valves so there will be a video this week
@@mangu768 Im not sure about that...
LOL MANGU i am feeling how you are lol i punctured my tube too, and i use shino and i couldnt get the tire over the rim. i had feeling i punctured, so i took tire off and yes i puncture. waiting on tubes and have sherman s torn apart just sitting there....sad face
Nice video showing steps, quiet but informational.. thank you for showing us the insides .. I have one on order, so soon I’ll get to ride not just look at others videos :)
Thanks, glad you liked my video, will do more like these then :)
I just converted my sherman S to tubeless using the stock tire and its fantastic. Highly recommend.
Great, thank you for sharing
Dope. Thanks for taking the time.
You're welcome !
Nice work. So is tire change easier on this wheel than sherman patton? This looks doable yet not too easy. Sherman patton looks killer but tire change sounds more complicated than this model.
I don't have the Patton and don't think i will for the moment, but i can say that the Sherman-S is a lot easier than the Max
Any thoughts on the difference between Michelin PS and Michelin city pro tire?
Hi, i only have experience with the Pilot street and the Pirelli angel 80 80-14, i think i like the lower profile of the Pirelli better, by the way they are all very good tires you can't go wrong
@@MathieuTechMoto Thanks a lot!
No bolt lock like blue to lock in the screws? LokTite??
I like risks :D
Just kidding the reassembly is in reverse of course i didnt put locktite lol
Will the Michelin Pilot Street 2 - 80/90 R14 also fit on the Veteran Lynx ? or would you suggest going wider for the 90/90 R14 size if this size fits that is?
I don't know about 90/90 but 80/90 should be safe
@@MathieuTechMoto Thank you so much !
@@peterchua9952 You're welcome
How long did it take you to do the whole thing?
1 hours disassembly, 1 hour assembly
what did you spray on the tire at 6:06?
A mix of oil/soapy water similar to Armor All but it will dry instead
What type of oil?
@@JimboMac hydraulic/vegetable whatever will work
at least tire is installed in correct direction. Imo tire threads arrow should point down arrow, as it should suck water from middle to outer side, not vice versa. Not sure what Michelin was smoking there but imo direction arrow is wrong
The problem is that there's two arrows on the tire, one if installed as front tire, and another if used as a rear tire, this could not be more confusing for an Unicycle lol
@@MathieuTechMoto as we have ONE wheel you should point to rear wheel, as on motorbike its the one who should have best grip with surface. Front thread on motorbike is reversed to reduce vibrations, as internet info says
@@milordas Thank you
So is 80/90 just as wide as 90/90 just not as tall of a tire or what?
90/90 is wider, 80/90 means 80% of the height of the sidewall which is 90mm so 90mm x 0.8 is the width
Why not tubeless tyre? 🤔
@@manya1369 its tubeless since 2 years now
