Ian has no DID. He has Bipolar (guess bipolar 1). If you have bipolar 1, you loose your sense towards reality up to ATLEAST 7 days, even longer (Ian said up to a month) in an extreme way. DID is something completely different. He named his manic episode Mito which does not mean that he has several personalities!

I don’t think it’s drink or drugs. It very much resembles the chaotic me when I haven’t slept for weeks properly. It gets to a point where tiredness feels like you are high on something. I tend to laugh uncontrollably and be just as chaotic like this. And when you have a hyperactive brain, it doesn’t help either. And he is quite hyperactive most of the time. It sounds like he is also suffering from insomnia.
