Tobias actually has his own "Beano cover" album -- but I'm so glad he didn't go the obvious route with this model and play a stream of Claptonisms. He covers harmonic ground here that I've never heard EC venture into.
Don't matter how old I get just can't understand the appeal of a paper thin, paper cut ,even painful instrument to bare more than a minute of ice pick torture to the ears and teeth. If hendrix played a full luscious instrument then I would get it. But still today my allergy to pain still hasn't built up a tolerance for that acute discomfort method of listening to such a shrill, thiny tone that is a little tiny 3 small harmonic or there lack of, Just can't seem to understand it the total opposite of musical, tonal appeal to musical euphoria.
Are we listening to the same piece of music? I've heard far, far, far worse. This is quite pleasant. Being 62 myself with hearing loss in one ear, you might consult an audiologist. Seriously.
