@@yourDeath86 no. I actually have pretty high standards, and very very few rockbands in the past twenty years have lived up to them. Måneskin is one of the very rare rockbands that are consistently good enough for me to considder myself a fan of theirs.
I respect that this guy is just a normal player for the most part. Songwriting is key, and Maneskin has good songs. Don't need guitar-god solos if you have a catchy tune.
One of the things I like is that he uses his guitar to enhance the song. Meaning if they add a guitar solo it's not there to show off, but because it serves the song as a whole.
If you go in a shop and play a guitar with thick 0.10 strings and a rubbish amp with no overdrive, all you can do is a few simple pentatonic licks, and sweat like a pig. Nobody is a virtuoso without his own guitar and amp. If I don't play 0.9 strings and a cranked plexi I am like a fish out of water.

Just saw Måneskin live here in Vancouver, BC last month. Thomas (and the entire band) is amazing. Such excellent musicians. 🎸 🎶
