- Finally a new cover! Ever since i saw TAIM live two months ago in Stockholm have i been thinking of to cover this song. I have been listening to it a lot, but since i had other stuff to do did i not start with this songs until 2 weeks ago...
I freaking love their new album, it was a bit hard to get used to it since this one is more "Deathmetal" and not "Deathcore" but the more i listen to it the more i started to like it!
I really hope you guys will like this one, i sure had a blast playing it!

Nice ride! Those bells sound so amazing. I have an AA Raw Bell and I fucking love it, but I must say the Hand Hammered is fucking killer.
It's the best ride i have ever used for sure, i was looking for a AA Raw Bell like 2 years ago, was i guy who sold it for 250€, back then did i have my Meinl classic custom extreme ride 20" and i decided to keep that one instead of getting the AA, but for some months ago did i find the HH one. I had a conversation about that ride with a guy and asked if he wanted to sell it, but he said no because he liked it so much, the other day did someone comment like "hey i saw a conversation you had yesterday on fb with a guy about the HH ride, i have one you can buy for 350€.
So yeah that's the story how i got that one haha!

Hi buddy! There should probably be some kind of drum teacher near you i'm sure, who hopefully can lend a kit during the lessons at least, but you can probably find a bit cheaper kit to start out with to have at home for own practising, like 2 rack toms, one floor tom, snare, hihat, 2 crash cymbals and a ride and some hardware! Try to find used gear, some stuff can often be in very good condition for a great price!

Även fast det var typ tagning 70 och jag va helt slut så försökte jag hålla humöret uppe, tycker att man ska visa lite utav sig själv än att enbart bara fokusera på låten och se jättekoncentrerad ut, blir roligt för tittarna då också! Men det är ju klart, det är ju en grym låt så man kan ju inte låta bli att digga med ibland!
Hate är ju mitt favorit album sen typ 3 år tillbaka och det var svårt att vänja sig vid Dear Desolation plattan, men ju mer man lyssnar ju mer kommer man in i deras nya stil som är lite mer dödsmetal än deathcore liksom!
Oj då måste jag säga att jag blir ännu mer imponerad om du lyckas hålla energin på topp trots så många tagningar! Det har du helt rätt i, gillar ditt sätt att tänka :D Hate var fantastiskt, jag gillar riktningen dom tar även om jag håller med om att Hate var något riktigt speciellt!
Hahaha tack! Jag är lite utav en perfektionist, även om jag sätter en del tagningar så vill jag somsagt röra mig rätt och göra visa grejer med kroppen som man inte ser asstel och allt för fokuserad ut!
Grejen med mig är att ju mer jag spelar ju mer pallar jag oftast, även om jag känner mig slut så kan jag oftast fortsätta. Det kan ta ett tag innan jag är väl uppvärmd, men när man kommer upp till den nivån då man känner sig varm och redo så brukar det flyta på riktigt bra, blir dock riktigt jobbigt efteråt när jag spelat klart, då kan man va rätt slut haha!
Har HATE skivan i min bil som rullar 24/7 varje gång jag startar bilen, älskar mixen, virvel samplen på den plattan är sjukt bra, låtarna är så äckligt feta (även fast en hel del låtar är rätt lika upplagt så tröttnar jag aldrig) När Dear desolation släpptes så höll jag med typ 80% utav folket som sa att "detta låter inte som Thy art" "Jag gilla deras äldre mer" Men ju mer man lyssna helt enkelt så börja man uppskatta det, för det finns fortfarande en hel del schyssta breakdowns och onda riff som är klockrena!
Aja inte konstigt att jag börja gilla det efter ett tag, det är ju för tusan mitt favoritband ;)

From what i've seen is that pretty normal? The reason why i do it is because when i started drumming did i not thought about my foot technique, so i just went for what ever "felt" best, and when i started to play faster stuff did i knew i had to start thinking about techniques, so my left foot had no technique at all and kind of learned the swiwel fast, but my right foot "kind of" used the floating technique so it was really hard to get away from it, i still struggles with that today haha

Why does your left foot move left and right instead of up and down like you right foot
Because i use the Swiwel technique for my left and floating for my right!
When i started to play the drums was my technique the last thing i was thinking about, but over the years when i got into metaldrumming did i realise that my muscles started to tense when i was using my whole legs to play, especially when i tried to play faster stuff, so then i started to look up on youtube what other drummers did to play so fast, then i saw the swiwel. I think George Kollias was the first drummer i saw doing that, and since i had a lot of problem with my left foot and pretty much no technique at all with it did i start to practise that one.
The problem with my right foot was that i kind of had "okey" controll with it and a decently technique so it was hard to "realearn" from my floating "ish" technique to swiwel, i try to swiwel with my right foot today as well, but then i often lose balance and then lose the flow to the beat...
So yeah i have been trying alot of techniques over the years and i use those i feel fit me best for the situation, as you can see do i use heel toe with my right foot at like 0:47, so even though i don't use the same technique all the time so have i been working with a lot of different ones!
Well... That was not really a short answer, but now you know haha!

haha thats sweet, i notice the 13 and down sized snares are better, you probably dont like the 14 inches because of the amount of leg spreading needed, alot more balance when legs are closer together, awesome cover and sound
Exactly! I can't really get the tone i want from a 14" as well, what i like about this snare is that the 13" gives a nice crack to it and the 7" in depth gives it a looot of body! I have a Evans Hybrid head on it today which makes it even more dry, cracky and some extra power to it! Freaking love that snaredrum!

@@sadtree8871 I have been playing drums for around 9 years now and maybe played metal for 6-7, i try to practise 3-5 times a week and every practise is around 2h long!
